I love how open you guys are about the female body and how you guys are open to questions. My mom never told me anything about that. I started my period when I was just barely 11 and that day my best friend who was 13 at the time was over at my house with her family for dinner and she helped me out with everything.

I started my period when I was 12. Now I'm 13. I've almost had it for one year. Surprisingly, a lot of my friends periods are irregular but mine came monthly right away. I love how Kass and Tiffany are so open with the girls about their bodies without scaring them. I wish I had been able to know more about that kind of thing before I started mine!! The key is a positive mindset, and not making it seem so negative.

I'm going through the exact same experience rn except my mom's not home so I had to text her and figure stuff out by myself. Kinda not that bad rn tho. I also have an older sis so I used her as an example when I told my mom to make it less awkward.

I asked my mom to tell my dad for me, and most of the time men don’t really want to talk about that kind of stuff, so your dad will probably not even bother you about it.

I personally got my period at the amazing age of 7. It was a lot earlier than all my family expected. My family all got theirs from 12-15 but i was early. I was horrified as at that time my parents nor my school never told me about any of these. But periods arent that scary and not that bad.

Periods may be a little scary at first but they arent that bad! Honestly majority of the time you cant feel them. At some ages they may be worse than other experiences that you may have had. But the days go by incredibly quickly and you barely notice that they are there.
Periods are normal and dont be afraid to tell someone about them.
You can always ask me questions for me to answer ❤❤❤

@@reagangandara1239 hi, I know you weren’t asking me but I started mine in august 22 (I was 12, I’m 13 now). for me I just instantly told my mum that there was some blood and she gave me a pad to wear, but I know it’s not that easy for everyone. I’d recommend just saying it to her, privately if you wish, because if she gets periods she’ll have likely been through a similar situation so she might understand. it’s always going to be slightly awkward but it’s best to just be straight up about it. sorry if this didn’t help, have a great day/night

11. Two of my daughters had them at 11 and 12. My other 2 daughters are not quite there yet. My son knows about periods as well. It was important to me that he knew so that he understands his sisters along with his future partner.

I turned 12 on the first Thursday of June this year(the 2nd day of the month), and I was in a huge dance show the Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I got it on the Saturday and it was hella scary. But I’m more like a pro to help my friends:)

Friends daughter started at 9. My daughter was 11. Period underwear was a lifesaver confidence booster for young girls when first starting. So worth it!

one fine day june 2nd 2023 i was hanging out with my friend and i said “imma go to the bathroom be right back” then i saw some BROWn spots in my underwear and when i wiped, sure enough, 🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸
then i got my pads cuz i knew
it was gonna happen soon (2 of my friends had gotten their period a week earlier and now i got mine what a coincidence lol)
i was 11 years old it was the summer in between 5-6 grade.
here are some facts and tips
-when you have gotten your period before at the 25-26 day mark put on a patie liner in case.
-your period can be all different colors and it’s normal like red, brown, black, orange, pink ect
some peoples period are clumpy clots (the shedding and lining) and some are just blood.( i have a mix of both)
- your period might be heavier on certain days of you cycle
- it takes a couple of years for your period to properly regulate after your first cycle.
- cramps head aches nausea mood swings fatigue acne and discharge are ✨normal✨
-in your period pouch helpful things are
pads
tampons
mentrual cups
deodorant
underwear
sanitizer

I started my period at 10 and I was the FIRST one in my grade so no one knew what I was going through and I was also really emotional and had mood swings and that was in my first year of middle school (5th grade). I got mine at school and I had P.E. that day and I was SOOOOOO uncomfortable. It is amazing how open you are about a females body! ❤️

Before yesterday I started my period but i didn’t count it so I didn’t know I was on My period and I wore white jeans with a jacket I was lucky to notice fast because I was in Dubai mall having dinner with my family i saw my white jeans were getting a little red so I told my mom my mom told me to wrap the jacket around my waist and she went bought me some pad’s and my sister and I went to h&m to buy myself a new pair of jeans and I changed in the toilet I was so lucky to notice fast or it would’ve have leaked and I would’ve gotten extremely embarrassed..

Girly, I know the struggle, I'm 12 in a couple months and I don't have a period yet. But dw! If you think you will get your period, ask your mom, older sister or any peers when they got their periods if your mom's period was on the age of 12 then you'll get it this year if you don't, everyBODY is different so dw, if you have clear discharge that means you are ovulating, which probably means you'll get your period in 10-16 days of you don't, it's okay you'll get it when you do!! If you really want to know, you can go to a obgyn. Hope this helps girly!!
