Oh, that's really exciting, we absolutely loved it there. Probably the favorite part of the trip. The fall colors were coming in. And there really wasn't a lot of people. So we pretty much had that whole upper part of the united states to ourselves as it felt like. Down underneath Lake superior there was an artesian. Well, do you happen to remember ever seeing it? You can fill your water there.,????? now??????
Thanks Steve for sharing your trip with us. That is really awesome, what a great view. Back in the day I use to stop at a spring on the way to Idyllwild Ca near Pine Cove and fill up on mountain spring water. God Bless
Those bladder shield look great that was some bobber in trout creek, WOW that's a big piece of meat pie (I thought for some reason was Apple , and I'm thinking Ketchup LOL) That was a neat mail box on a pole top cross arm , great for a linesman , Now mystery spot sounds intriguing Awesome sunset on the bridge , I love a sunset over water, great timing, one of the best sunset I've ever seen was over Lake Huron from Port Elgin in Ontario breath taking. Thanks for taking us along Safe Travels and enjoy
@@doinsngoins No unfortunately I have a three hour flight to Toronto the a three hour drive to Port Elgin to get to the shores of Lake Huron , and yes you're correct I'm on the rock in the Atlantic called Newfoundland, it's not heaven but the calls are local from here LOL. Although with the weather the way it's been past couple of weeks I could say it's not hell but you can smell the brimstone LOL
Those pasties were HUGE! Perfect timing on the sunset. Couldn't have planned that any better. That spring water is awesome stuff. We used to bottle anywhere from 20-40 gallons at a time from a similar well, and it used to be the only water I would drink. Good stuff. I can't believe momma wouldn't let you stop at the mystery spot! Who knows what you missed. It will forever remain a mystery 😂
@@doinsngoins haha but if you go back, it won't be a mystery anymore...it'll just be a...spot 😂 glad to hear you made it! I'm about to fire up the new video now!!
@chado_outdoors thank you, Chad. Sorry, I may have missed some of your videos. I have been preoccupied , i'm so far behind on watching videos. It's not even funny.
@@doinsngoins no, don't think you've missed anything since I haven't done anything. Been on bed rest again. But, I think I'm finally able to start getting out again as long as the doc doesn't schedule surgery again to remove more clots in my leg
Wonderful stuff...never pass up on some artesian well water!! Crossing the Mighty Mac I see. There's a friend of mine who lives close to that area and she refuses to drive across and has someone who works there drive for her. Imagine that! Drive safe and enjoy the adventure!!
That is one heck of a bridge. I think we read that it was 5 and a 1/2 miles long. I don't think it's a very scary bridge though. It probably helped, however, though that we're going twenty miles per hour. Bye. The way regarding the water. It is the best water that i've ever drank in my life
My first , something like a piosky or pot pie, some people refer to them as shepherds pie, but I don't see it. All I know is there delicious. One of the main ingredients is rutabaga,
@scotthayward996 there was a lot of inland storms that came at the same time or possibly from it. There are at least a 1/2, a dozen key folks that are not coming because they have issues at home from the storm, including power outage ( Still ) This totally sucks, but there is still a good size group. That's gonna make it and a few new people. Rob with bluegrass, bushcraft are fearless. Leader has already been down there and Wendy. Arrived, there were trees blown over the road, but the state was already cut him out of the way. He lives pretty close to their, so he got everything. Scoped out and it looks like we're gonna be all right, baby a little wet.
Timing is everything !!!!!
Incredible!!
