Hey John I am happy to find your channel, I have a new brand that I am working on it for the pass year, i have the brand registered in Mexico and I am just registering in the US I am all ready working in some products and samples and this video it really helps, keep it up bro, thanks
Sunday Mass is a great example for a brand name in that niche. I think a lot of people will gravitate to a brand with the right name that speaks to them so a lot of thought should go into that
I love everything Gelato has to offer. Now i actually just started my own clothing company about a month ago, getting everything finalized before ordering blanks. My question is, im all about quality and dont want to sell materials you can find at a hobby lobby or a michaels. I am looking for high quality, thick materials, does gelatos selection of clothing offer anything of quality? I see so many manufacturers and just scared to start dumping money on blanks to find the best quality
When it comes to the product Gelato has for apparel, they are a limited limited right now. However I was advised they are about to release a ton of new wholesale blanks that will give everyone options. So I am excited for that, at the moment they just have gilden, but their accessories and other upsell products are 🔥🔥🔥
.........Pause at 28:37, you can see the "box" treatment lines where black color looks different than the non treated side...dtf or screen printing is best
Definitely ID the niche. then really work on what the man Hugo Byrnes talked about in his interview. Those 2 combined will give you the greatest impact.
Hi John, I just considered starting my brand and I’m wondering what’s the best fabric and quality can I use that really stand up and what kind of prints. Thanks
Every wholesale blank is a little unique. When it comes to quality it's subjective. However 100% cotton is what you want to go with if you are doing print on demand. When you start doing blends with polyester they can feel softer, but when it comes to printing with DTG it can look faded. Choose the blank that will allow you to hit your intended retail price (and have a profit doing so). There are some t-shirts like streetcrafter blanks that run $10-12 while blanks such as Gilden, Bella or Alystyle will run you $4-8 for the shirt (and you can print with Gelato for the pricing in video). If you're resell price is $20-$25, then you'll want to go on the lower end. But if your resell price is 40-50, then source for something that will give your customers that value. Hope that makes sense!
it's not available on Gelato yet, but maybe in the future? For now it's available here: www.streetcrafter.com/products/streetcrafter-luxury-heavyweight-hoodie-limited-time-pre-sale?variant=45268355383592
Great video. I have been selling on POD platforms for a couple of years. My challenge is getting my products in front of the target market. I don't have any money for ad's right now. What do you recommend? I'm open to any and all recommendations.
Gelato's got a good presence in Australia, and the brand owner in the video is using them for fulfillment. You should give them a try for the products you are designing.
Even though most apps are built for Shopify. There is a way to manage and route orders using platforms such as Order Desk. It allows Gelato to pull your shops detail and route to customers. So all this still applies
@@samuraitadpole5459 it does but you gonna need money lol in the beginning to promote once you promote n build a audience your good buy in the beginning social media promotion cost money especially if you pay somebody to do it
Best Print on Demand Tutorial i have ever seen !

Thanks for this info. I can't find the link for the calculator?

that is the pretreatment, but does go away after the first wash. That is a downside though of DTG and if customers don't know, you may get complaints
First ! awesome video man any tip for brand building and getting more sales but without running alot of ads , im a teen starting my own brand

All bla bla bla No one talks about the expensive shipping costs for bulk purchasing
It is very expensive. Which is why print on demand is the way to go when you're just getting started.
Omg, somone who knows how to pronounce niche. Will listen for that reason alone 😂😂😂😂😂
