      he wasnt a good player, if he ran away for like 10-15 seconds he wouldve managed to turn around and bite sticky when he was chasing after him, rex is faster than giga so its possible. and he didnt turn left,right while turn-fighting sticky

    Super valuable info. So many times I've been grouped (randoms) even in VC I'll tell them if one of us gets targeted the other immediately ass rides vice versa but unfortunately, especially in the moment, mistakes happen... not necessarily 'forget' but you know. Then you look back at the footage facepalming like gah why didn't we do one thing differently haha. Thanks for sharing Sticky!

    good stuff . personally I feel a body down rule would be fairer for everyone... in this case the rex defended successfully and killed one of the attackers therefor IMO he deserves to live on. I know this server had Different rules but feels bad for the rex :(

      understandable but that limits the fights that small dinos can engage to, utah packs that may wanna hunt rexes, gigas etc and having to give up the fight just cause one of them died doesnt sounds that good to me
      rex died, yes but it was an even trade atleast, a giga for a rex

    Great strategy tbh, I use one similar and have always thought someone must also have one like it, if not exactly!
    I have yet to be defeated by a Rex with this strategy,and for most of the time if you get close enough, they always miss the bone break! Even if they do get it, once you ride the Rex, it's all over! Feels nice because a lot of Rex mains are super salty, and crossing their life force off, just feels so good!
    Great Video as always Sticky, great to see you posting again!

    Basicly impossible as rex to kill 2 gigas. And unless its happening like in your 1st try what prolly most rexes would do is run away since in the second you cannot tell if the LB happend or missed. So in the 2nd fight is the aggressive way of a rex. turning almost not care for other giga and straight up go for the hurt one. he bit him 4 times then you did bite him xD and then he finished it with the 5th bite. The giga duo should be playing very bad or unlucky to not get behind him and also get LB to loose this fight. OTherwise if they play little smart prolly impossible for a rex to win vs 2 Gigas.

    If the rex tanks one of the gigas that strat won’t really work

    • @StickyUtah
      @StickyUtah  Рік тому

      I'm not sure what you mean by "tank" - if it's standing on the spot and just biting the giga, the giga can simply walk forward with the broken leg, and end up behind the rex, where bites no longer register. At that point, rex has to either disengage, or go into a turn fight. In a turn fight, a giga with a broken leg turns faster than a rex in Z turn. And all the meanwhile, the 2nd giga is riding the rex. In short, in a turn fight, gigas win, because they do more dmg to rex than the rex does to the giga with the broken leg. Tested it multiple times, gigas win every time in a turn fight, unless the 2nd giga messes up the ride (which would be execution/skill issue, rather than the strategy issue)

    • @Donny.07
      @Donny.07 Рік тому

      @@StickyUtah the rex just stands in one giga then turns and kills the giga. Then the rex would turn to the other giga. Sure this strat will work on bad rexes but good ones, definitely not lol
      That last rex could of got on the other gigas ass then killed you if it was good enough.

    I'm just going to say it it not hard to tail ride and that wouldn't work for let say hellfire rule 3 bites and have a 3 bites rule keep the fight going and make it where you need to have skill to kill

  • @garboplaysgames5233
    @garboplaysgames5233 Рік тому

    would it not be better to just get on each side of the rex and try to create an opening instead of risking losing a teammate like that, seems ineffective to me and not really a win if you lose your partner in the process.

    • @StickyUtah
      @StickyUtah  Рік тому

      You only lose a giga if you mess up - which I went to great lengths to explain in the video. It's a foolproof strategy, unless you don't execute it correctly, but then it's not the strategy at fault, but the skill/execution. Similarly to any other strategy in any fight or matchup - it works unless you don't execute it properly.
      With the strategy of getting on 2 sides of Rex (which is the strategy currently employed by everyone) - the problem is, an experienced/smart rex can simply turn towards one giga, and run it down, and the giga on the opposite side will not be able to do anything, because rex is faster than a giga. So, by chasing after one giga, the rex kills 2 birds with one stone: it chases down the giga he's after AND he's creating distance from the giga that is behind him. Then he simply breaks the leg of the giga he was after, and turns to face the giga that is chasing him or simply finishes the giga with the broken leg, depending on how much distance he created from the 2nd giga.

    • @garboplaysgames5233
      @garboplaysgames5233 Рік тому

      It is true that rex is faster then giga however distance management can defeat that, if you hang too close then ya rex is gonna catch you for sure but creating openings and not risking the death of your teammates is better imo then both charging head on with a rex, few of those you guys were so close that the rex could have dragged a bite through the both of you and killed you both. It's very risky is what I'm getting at, better off having 1 giga go in for a double with a teammate on stand by to engage after with a second double, then giga wins the tank fight as it needs a 3 bite lead to tank a rex. If both land doubles successful, or even if the other giga lands a single and you land a double you guys are bound to win.

    • @megalo5885
      @megalo5885 Рік тому

      @@StickyUtah I am a giga main and I just wanted to point out that u both crouching towards the rex like very close is very risky since the rex can easily just get the double leg break a bite or 2 on each. depends, and then the rex can just run out then double bite again and again till one drops. if there is a scenario where one of u don't get leg broken. and try to chase after the rex, the rex can just create the distance it needs then be able to face the non leg broken giga. the worst thing the giga can do is run at the rex and get leg broken as well and can finish u off from there or u get out of the way of the incoming rex and finish off the giga at the back without a sweat. the second fight u guys had with the rex the rex did not create enough distance nor did it z turn NOR did it go and finish off the giga limping away which is the reason why the rex died. a good rex would never make those kind of mistakes. IF BY MIRACLE both of u don't get leg broken then sure i suppose u can kill the rex no problem since it might just end up being a Zumba line death to for the rex.

    • @garboplaysgames5233
      @garboplaysgames5233 Рік тому

      @@megalo5885 agree with basically everything hear, have fought enough rexes as giga in survival and DM to say this is certainly the case when fighting a more experienced player. This is why I suggested the giga pair going for 2 separate doubles would honestly work better since then rex cant double bite to win nor can it tank. I also disagree with the one giga trying to limp away as sticky had suggested, if your partner gets his leg broke you wanna be there to try and save them and possible get some extra bites and spread the HP. only way I can see stickys strat working if they do more of s scissor formation and are more spread, making the rex choose a giga and then the other giga is instantly going for the ride but again still risking.

    • @megalo5885
      @megalo5885 Рік тому

      @@garboplaysgames5233 I do agree that the gigas should go on each side so that the Rex has to decide where to run. If the Rex runs at one then the giga can run while the other giga is chasing. The giga will eventually catch the Rex from behind due to its longer ambush. This method I always use with another giga. It's safer eazier and less riskier.
