I do respect her for being honest, so many celebs lie and lie about what they eat. Saying they eat pizza, burgers what have you, then the public feels bad for eating the 'same' things and not being just as thin. At least she showed how unhealthy it is to achieve her thinness.
I mean, she showed what she eats... But I'm 100% sure she takes a lot of vitamins and supplements that simply aren't an option for everybody. If someone decides they want to look like her not caring about their health they aren't going to achieve it anyway, they are just going to look tired

they might really be eating like that and just naturally skinny or workout a ton. tbh before models become super popular, unless they’re nepo babies, the conditions and pay they receive is pretty bad. they work long hours and are often in debt to the agency. that’s why i do believe that some models aren’t eating 100% healthy all the time because they barely have money.

As a Mexican, PLEASE, please, please put the tortilla at least for a minute on a pan (no need of any oil or butter they don’t stick). Loved the taco, but it was driving me crazy seeing the uncooked tortilla 🙈🙈🙈 the best flavor is when a tortilla is cocked and a little bit tanned
I remembered reading about Victoria's long haul flight routine in the late 90's, which described her only drinking coffee and lemon water, because eating will make bloat. I was 18-19 years old at the time and I remembered how I was so impressed by her "willpower" to stay off food and that indirectly messed my relationship with food for a long time. Mann..that was a weird time to be a teen. Skinny ill looking girls (nicole/paris and at a time even hillary duff when she got really skinny) were seen as role models, mostly for their willpower to get that thin.
in case you havent noticed, we are back to that standard lmfao. The kardashians are getting rid of their implants, bella hadid (eat two almonds and chew them slowly) mom headass is the face of beauty. Lmfao this world is such a joke.

To me, health is freedom and being in sync with your body. There is a big difference between being disciplined and being restrictive. Variety is essential for gut biodiversity 💖
that bit when you talked about someone’s diet becoming who they are… it hit home for me. (dump incoming) i have a thyroid disorder and had to go gluten free a number of years ago, and my mom did too out of solidarity (not the best idea for someone who tolerated gluten), but now has a ton of “allergies” that caused her to eliminate essentially everything out of her diet except for fish, some vegetables, and other “clean” foods. every time she calls me it’s always to talk about the food she makes and she sends me really bland recipes similar to the ones in this video. i’ve struggled with disordered eating in the past and i hate seeing my own mom going down this road. so i asked her about it when i was back home to visit and she got defensive and yelled at me for being concerned. but she’s slowly withering away and idk what to do about it. but thank you for validating this point, it’s a comfort in itself to know i’m not alone in recognizing that this is a problem
It made me really sad to hear how delighted david was that she tried something off his plate, makes you wonder what other happy memories theyve missed out on together because of her disorder 😢

Abbey, you always have so much food prepped ahead! I'd love to see how and what ingredients you prep most often for the week and how you use them. Thanks!
I respect Victoria a lot for this, pretty much anyone who lives life in front of the camera eats like this. At least she’s honest about it. She’s such a Queen for always staying real
Abbey, another idea for fennel (and using up your apples): I do a sautéed apple fennel salad thing, where I sautée them both in butter, salt and pepper, top w a bit of shaved parmesan. (Maybe pecans if you want) So good!
Sesame Ezekiel bread with avocado, garlic and onion powder, black and cayenne pepper, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, raw miso paste and umeboshi vinegar is one of my favorite things on the planet.
Her description of the preparation without sauses or seasoning, "very clean," reminds me of this NYC restaurant I went to where I ordered some vegetable side, and it was bland and very sad. I'm used to sad restaurant food as a vegetarian, but this was dire. I had to put more effort into ordering something additional that would have some sort of fat in it. The restaurant was later in the news when it shut down, because it had been a favorite spot for people with EDs. It was very "safe" because of the lack of sauce or seasoning. It may have been macrobiotic, now that I think about it.
She followed the idea of it-but the point was that she had to make tweaks within the diet that fit more to her needs. I think the point was saying that a person like herself would have to make tweaks within the blueprint to feel satisfied and with energy.
@@zoeisaacson3660 she titled this attempting her diet. She should have followed it. She regularly changes and adds loads of calories to test diets. One time she dumped a quarter of a bag of hemp hearts into a snack smoothie because apparently it’s wasn’t satiating. Again, it was a snack.
Breakfast used to be a struggle for me until I finally figured out a smoothie that I enjoyed and had the HCC covered. My smoothie isn't "green" or "clean", but it is better than no Breakfast. I set up my blender the night before with some type of milk, chia seeds, oatmeal, Greek yogurt and protein powder, in the morning I add frozen fruit and enjoy my protein shake/smoothie. The mouth tingling isn't from the chia seeds it's from the kiwi and is actually quite a common phenomenon when you eat kiwi similar to how the acids and pineapple make your mouth tingle that's all it is. Although some people do experience to pitching mouth with eating kiwi or tingling balthasar allergic so if it keeps happening I would see a doctor and get an allergy test done for kiwi and related fruit and vegetables
I wish you the best of luck! It's not easy, but it's SO worth it, and you absolutely can have a healthy relationship with food and your body. It took me a year of therapy before I could find the strength to take the steps to fix my behavior. The disordered thinking was so deeply ingrained in my psyche. I associated feeling hungry with being "good, strong, disciplined, etc." I thought being full meant I was bad and ate too much. I'm completely recovered now. It takes time, but it's definitely possible!
I just found Abbey and love her videos. I have struggled with disordered eating (from bulimia, anorexia, compulsive/binge eating) my entire life. I was doing better in recovery but work stress and menopause have thrown me back into very disordered eating. I am trying to find my way back to the road of recovery but it is so hard.
Your video title is complete clickbait. You haven't attempted anything, it sounds like you have just eaten what you always eat and argueing you're a too busy mom to do whatever Victoria does. Nothing wrong with that, but then just don't do a video about "attempting" someone elses diet or simply change the title so it actually fits the content.
@@asiginaakmiigwaan9200 do you? LMAO Here you go... *attempted* - "make an effort to achieve or complete (something, typically a difficult task or action)." SHE DIDN'T MAKE AN EFFORT. SHE DID WHAT SHE WANTED TO DO. What a joke.

Aw I've never heard David's speaking voice. He's such a large burley man I assumed he would have a super deep voice. He sounds so sweet , I love how him and Victoria love each other so much and still kiss their daughter despite backlash. I think Victoria is aware of her "intensity" as she's a very type A person. I think she dose have some disordered eating that has probably (in my opinion) become exacerbated by her career coming into place in an era where "thinness " and looking athletic was essential and being in fashion thinness is basically essential. I do think even though she denies her disordered eating publicly she knows how much woman and girls can be effected by it. I have heard her and David don't allow their daughter socials in fear of body shaming comments. I love how they let their little girl be herself. She's the spit of David! They care for their children very much. Unlike some moms I believe she dose not want to put her eating habits on her kids and lets them develop as individuals.
While I do believe that Victoria loves her daughter very much unfortunately children mimic what their parents do. As such, while limiting her daughter's social media is great, Victoria is always going to be a more significant role model than anyone else. Harper has got to wonder why her mother eats the way she does and disguising it with platitudes and (in my opinion) untrue statements about 'eating simple', 'clean eating' which simply are trying to make her eating disorder okay is unfair to her daughter. The best thing she could do as a Mom is to acknowledge having an eating disorder and get help for the same!

@@GL0580 WOW…didn’t mean to trigger you there Janna, sorry about that. Love your videos! Recently had to switch up my diet due to endometriosis. Now it is a super restrictive fodmap diet (which I cheat on because I miss the variety but then I suffer greatly). Miss a lot of veg, beans, lentils, etc. Could you do a video of what you would eat with severe endometriosis? Your food always looks amazing 😋
Beans and onions are the worst for me... I ended up in the emergency room last time I had onions because I genuinely thought I had appendicitis. Turns out it was just because they're high FODMAP foods ... started the heaviest period two days later too so it's all linked for me 💩
Honestly, who believes what the media says about certain diet regimens of celebrities? And what it sounds like from the recording of Victoria herself, maybe she just genuinely enjoys eating simplistically. Plus who knows, maybe she follows an autoimmune protocol or has allergies that she just wants to keep private. She never demonized any food group or tried to assign it with a negative identity. I kind of feel like in this video it had a lot of “eye-roll” commentary towards Victoria versus showing the average eater how to make her food choices work for them.
I agree. There are lot of "look what x eats to have y body" that seem to not be based in facts. Some people just do not like over spiced over sauced food. Some do. Both are ok.
Yes agree. I have celiac disease and I wish I could eat different things but i feel the best and less symptoms if i eat pretty much just veggies and chicken or fish and some rice. Other foods bother me for 1 reason or another. Easy to say just eat what you want for people who are healthy and got no food sensitivity or allergy
@@ww1andww2history I have IBS and celiac disease and I can eat potatoes, sweet potatoes, all rice products, most unprocessed corn, and all meats... why limit yourself when you can eat variety?
I won't do green juices because they literally always taste terrible 😂 I love broccoli and spinach, but I take mine as a whole food, cooked, and either with balsamic vinegar over the broccoli or spinach or broccoli cooked in an olive oil based sauce with spices. Also not a fan of chia seeds or any seeds in smoothies 😂 Smoothies must be completely smooth! Abby, I highly recommend you try this combo: red apple and banana cut up with greek yoghurt and cinnamon! Chuck in a few raisins as well. SO yummy!
I hear you about seeds in smoothies! One time I bought a smoothie while I was shopping and they put passion fruit syrup with seeds in it. The seeds, of course, broke up into little chunks and it was not smooth at all. It was a textural nightmare and I've hated passion fruit ever since 😂
I would like to say this has nothing to do with this video. This has to do with her reviewing diets on TikTok. I wanna thank you so much you’ve helped me so much with my struggle with food and you’ve helped me realize that food isn’t an enemy but something necessary for my well being and that balance is key. I just wanted to thank you because you’ve really helped my mindset and head space towards food
Seems judgmental just by the face expression and body language. If Victoria enjoys the way she eats and the outcome, why recreate her meal like it’s so disgusting in your eyes or taste.
She's like this with anyone who isn't 100% healthy, as if it's a moral sin to have an eating disorder from being in the public eye since being a teenager (like V Beckham)
The thing is: people look up to those celebrities and assimilate their diets, do you know how many teenagers with anorexia say that it started because they tried to look like their celebrity rolemodel? I got an ED because I wanted to look like Yolanda from the antwoord for example, and while I'm against judging people's ED I think it is very very problematic when stars tell about their super unhealthy diet, because people will assimilate.
It is easy to maintain low weight and health when you have others setting menus, portion control, shopping, prepping, cooking, and you never have to set foot in a kitchen. That is the main thing when comparing celebrities to the rest of us who do not have those luxuries. Celebrities have so many people they pay to run their lives so it takes a lot of the daily stress out of their regiments
I get what you’re saying cause it’s like he’s exposing her, but he’s just being factual. Like not saying she’s crazy or ridiculous, but just letting us know he’s only shared a meal with his wife during her pregnancy, in all the years they’ve been together. Which is really sad.. he can’t enjoy commiserating over eating a delicious meal from like Michelin star restaurants with his partner.
The saddest part is that Victoria can eat anywhere and has travelled the world but she and hasn't got to experience the different countries local foods or, complex dishes cooked by the best chefs because let's face it, steamed veg and fish is delicious but it's so basic that even I can make that taste good. What a total waste! I'm a foodie and I would be in my element trying different high end restaurants all over the world.
Tbh I always think she looks rather unwell . She is a beautiful lady don’t get me wrong but personally she is very very thin and ‘tired’ looking . We are around the same age and I could not imagine eating like this half my life . 😮
the few times I accidentally overate at a buffet (the food was so good!), I used apple cider vinegar to make some room and then my stomach hurt less, being less full. I do NOT encourage this as a habit. But in emergencies, it helps...
Avocado, banana, and cashew butter are my go-to's for saving smoothies. I would never put something as fibrous as broccoli in a smoothie unless it was literally ground into powder. I think kale and broccoli are better cooked and mixed with onion and garlic and a serving of pasta/rice with your favorite sauce or dressing. I agree I don't think Victoria Beckham's diet is healthy for most people.
I think that partially Victoria is a victim of early 2000s fashion/beauty standards. Let's not forget that the girls on Spice Girls came with labels and the moment they stopped fitting their labels, everything went to hell.
Abby, I watch all your videos from the far germany. I have to say, you were so on hilarious and on point this time! Victorias diet gives me serious Jennifer Aniston vibes with eating the same stuff over and over. I think, it is so liberating and freeing to get in contact with your different food needs every day. It is so great, that you explain this over and over to the public!
But you didn’t follow Victoria’s diet. You basically guessed and speculated actual brands, recipes and other products she may or may not be using. We don’t know all the details of what her personal chef makes for her on a daily basis and what her personal trainer (who also trains David Beckham) has to say about her diet.
She did so because her diet is restrictive, calorie deficient, and unhealthy. As a dietician, she would be doing a disservice to even attempt to recreate a diet which is clearly insufficient. Add up the caloric intake and you'll see that it is far below what is recommended (Beckham's diet), regardless of the foods from which it is derived.
Exactly. And honestly, some of us who struggle with food addiction issues and weight enjoy eating the same thing everyday. I have been eating the same thing for 5 years. It’s freeing to not have to stress and count and worry about my food. And also, it must be nice Abby can eat what she does and maintain her physique.
Cider vinegar and turmeric has helped me control bladder sensitivity and UTIs for a number of years. I tried dropping them but soon began to feel sensitive and uncomfortable. But I ALWAYS add it to a large mug of boiled water and low calorie soda so it's diluted.
Kuddos to her for being honest and not turning herself into Yolanda. While her eating habits might have an impact on her kids it looks like her daughter especially is not starving herself
I LOVE avocado too and while I do use olive oil daily, since I have a nice large hunk of avocado in my salad, I don't use much, if any olive oil - as the avocado has the fat as well as a great amount of fiber, potassium and other nutrients, which the olive oil doesn't have. Once mixed up, there is plenty of oil from the avocado to neutralize that vinegar.
The tingling happens with certain fruit. Kiwi and pineapple for instance have an enzyme that makes it so the digestive process starts when it comes in contact with saliva. So basically it's eating the skin in your mouth. I can't eat them, they give me canker sores every time because of this enzyme.
Hmmm the way she stated her food preferences, it makes me wonder if she has any sensory issues. Eating the same thing day after day? Sounds to me as if there is a possible diagnosis that a specialist could uncover. Thank you for sharing this video! Very interesting
I thought the same thing. I’m autistic and although I don’t restrict the way she seems to, so no issues with oils or anything like that, otherwise her preferences sound really similar to mine. It’s nice to hear someone describe it as “preferring things to be simple” instead of “having the tastebuds of a child” lol
@@somewhat-blue Same!! well, mine is more adhd related and not so restrictive, though my own preferences is what made me think it could be an issue for her. Since the foods are very low fat/low calorie and she has eaten different things when she was pregnant, it seems more likely to be eating disorder related.
@@somewhat-blue I also liked hearing her describe it as "preferring things to be simple"- I am often made fun of for being "picky". I do not have an ED but just like her, I prefer no thick sauces/oily or creamy / I honestly kind of like food to be a bit bland and not too flavourful, and people look at me like I'm from another planet when I state this preference. A lot of food tastes "gross" to me, I don't understand how people can't accept people having different taste, or acting like it's a child-like quality, I really grinds my gears!!

One of the things that make her videos unique! There are so many "I ate like [insert celebrity] but she actually shows us how (if you want) you could eat the same things but in a more healthy way :)
I remember hearing this. It broke my heart when he said she shared food with him when she was pregnant and how happy he was. He will never experience that again. Lol
I wish this series would be more honestly titled, like "I attempt to improve *insert name*'s diet" or something similar... You don't even attempt to stick to her diet - and why should anyone, its terrible. But it makes the point of the video very unclear.
Whilst I do love these videos and appreciate how helpful it is showing proper nutritious and filling alternatives, plus ofc Hunger Crushing Combos, I love seeing videos where the celeb’s diet is followed for that day as accurately as possible and then we dissect it after!!!
so you would like to see someone replicate a diet that doesn't serve their body? genuinely asking cause I don't see what any involved party would gain from that...?
@@mimirobin I think that’s why it can be helpful for people to be honest! If things like these super strict celeb diets are always deemed so restrictive and hard to follow, it’s interesting to see other “non-celeb”s follow it to show exactly how it makes different people feel :) I do understand why Abi does these videos though because it shows how to make them more realistic or better for you, but it ends up not so much being a video about what Posh eats and trying to follow it if that makes sense, which I think is what a lot of people expect to see from those sorts of videos. @@SuperBeth1001 hmm I see :). on the one hand I would say that's kind of a lot to expect from a content creator to put themselves through, esp if its triggering ED.. but then, part of the critique you wrote is that the title (trying out XX diet) and the content (modifying meals) don't match, and i can get on board with that :)! i dont follow her but i think Natasha Oceane actually tries out like restrictive diets (like low carb) and sees what effect it has,, but like what doesn't sit quite right with me is that "seeing the effect it has on different people" easily implies comparing them, and that in itself might be triggering for some ppl with/post ED, especially if these trying-out experiments are made mostly conventionally white cis fit bodies,, if that makes sense ...?

sooooo you “attempted” the diet but didn’t even try??? you could have at least had plain water and skipped the coffee addiction… you ate both breakfasts and added tons of stuff to them and complained about the smoothie so hard for no reason? have you never had a green smoothie? not everyone needs a super bright sugary smoothie. i could go on but there is no use in wasting breath. you should have just titled the video “critiquing someone’s eating disorder while eating whatever I want”. you are not better than her just because you eat whatever you want and she isn’t better than you for eating what she feels she can.
Not that I expect anyone will be doing this smoothie after watching this video, but if you want to put broccoli in a smoothie put it RAW not steamed, taste much better. And more spinach less borccoli. The tingling is the kiwi, pretty sure it contains bromelain same as pineapple (useful as an anti inflamatory meidicine but also digesting your mouth as you eat it...).
The kiwi tingling could be due to a latex allergy, which crosses over to several fruits. You may only have an oral allergy to some of them though, we’re all different.

I used to get a stinging feeling in my mouth when I ate kiwi : / I haven’t really experienced it since I was a kid, so maybe I built up a tolerance to it? sounded similar to what you said was happening
It's something that can come and go. My dad used to eat a kiwi everyday. Then, out of no where, to use his phrasing, "It tastes like pain." I was eating one a few months ago, offered him some, and he didn't have the problem. I also know people can have this with pineapples.

As someone who has eaten the same thing since childhood and very rarely eat anything else, I totally agree with her 😂 sometimes you fall into a comfortable pattern with food and don't really want anything else. I eat a balanced diet but it's the same things everyday.
My autistic ex used to do that. I felt a bit bad for him when I cooked, as I felt like I was being boring, but actually it really worked for him, and he did eat a pretty balanced diet

Omg for some reason I thought David sounded different in interviews. Hope Posh/Victoria is happy even if she doesn’t find pleasure in food (my mom says she only eats for sustenance, which I cannot fathom). My mom literally plans her meals by week, but every week is the same lol
She does it for herself, she's not a role model for humanity. She accepts she's a perfectionist and that her choices are not for everyone. You can admire her without falling in the trap of copying her life and try to become someone else. It's more about self management. Instead of criticizing her eating habits, focus in improving yourself in the way it works for you. Not everyone likes messy salads and frozen tacos, some people actually care about presentation and enjoying cooking. Personally I found your cooking very lazy and lacking joy. It's not the food but the attitude and mindset towards food what makes a difference sometimes.

they might really be eating like that and just naturally skinny or workout a ton. tbh before models become super popular, unless they’re nepo babies, the conditions and pay they receive is pretty bad. they work long hours and are often in debt to the agency. that’s why i do believe that some models aren’t eating 100% healthy all the time because they barely have money.
She looks so horrific to begin with. I thought she was anorexic all her life

He sure loves her. He stated the fact without putting her down, so that people won't call her names. There's something deeply unhealthy about her eating habits, for sure, but he respects her decision not to share meals with him. He is a decent man, indeed.
Ehm, can't remember how many times he, the decent man, cheated on her. But, whatevs.

Yes! Thank you! What she ate in this video has very little to do with Victoria's diet
Right on!
I second this.
Maybe she doesn’t like it that way
omg me and my mom make pizza on a tortilla list and just put it in the oven for ~5 minutes i'm sorry but it's delish
Right! No cold raw nasty tortillas. And no butter that’s just ugh!
plus i don’t think she toasted the avocado toast
I remembered reading about Victoria's long haul flight routine in the late 90's, which described her only drinking coffee and lemon water, because eating will make bloat. I was 18-19 years old at the time and I remembered how I was so impressed by her "willpower" to stay off food and that indirectly messed my relationship with food for a long time. Mann..that was a weird time to be a teen. Skinny ill looking girls (nicole/paris and at a time even hillary duff when she got really skinny) were seen as role models, mostly for their willpower to get that thin.
The 1990s were brutal on body image.
And it seems to be coming back for the new gen of teens from tiktok honestly
in case you havent noticed, we are back to that standard lmfao. The kardashians are getting rid of their implants, bella hadid (eat two almonds and chew them slowly) mom headass is the face of beauty. Lmfao this world is such a joke.
The 2000’s were toxic AF… I remember looking up Ana/Mia sites wanting to be skinny but thankfully it never clicked. And thank god they aren’t so readily available today (as far as I know 😬) hope not!
Most of them were skinny due to cocaine addiction
The tingling is definitely from the Kiwi. Every time I’ve eaten kiwi by itself, I’d get a little tingling sensation in my mouth.
you're right! it's like pineapple. if you put them raw in gelatin it won't set, they have an enzyme that breaks down proteins.
Please don’t eat me.

I was just going to suggest that too. I'm mildly allergic to kiwi so my mouth always tingles. Doesn't stop me though lol
Yup, came here to say this.

Aww. Thats awesome.
That tingling sensation is an oral allergy syndrome (or something like this). I have it after literally 90% of fruits.
Oh wow, thanks for sharing this!
I’ve noticed that sometimes cashews do it to me. But only certain ones. I can eat cashews from another place or brand and they’re fine. It’s like a burning sensation. I had some real trouble from pine nuts. Read afterwards that it was only pine nuts from a certain country that do it. Can’t remember the country.
Are you allergic to latex by chance? Often fruit allergies go hand in hand with latex allergied. I am allergic to kiwi and a few others and am also allergic to latex and found it interesting how often the allergies coincide! :) Super random sorry, I was just curious haha.
Fellow dietitian but in australia! This sheet explains it well and is relevant for adults: www.schn.health.nsw.gov.au/files/factsheets/allergy_-_fruit_and_vegetable_allergy-en.pdf
The farty factor of that smoothie is the broccoli. Eat it steamed as a warm cooked side veg folks, not cold in a smoothie.
If you look at David’s socials. He loves to cook and makes delicious meals for the family. What a shame she doesn’t enjoy it though. She’s had an ED for years. Sad she never recovered.
Yes, I remember times when she's a walking skeleton. She's better now though.
Abbey, you always have so much food prepped ahead! I'd love to see how and what ingredients you prep most often for the week and how you use them. Thanks!
She has made a few detailed food prep videos
I respect Victoria a lot for this, pretty much anyone who lives life in front of the camera eats like this. At least she’s honest about it. She’s such a Queen for always staying real

Abbey, another idea for fennel (and using up your apples): I do a sautéed apple fennel salad thing, where I sautée them both in butter, salt and pepper, top w a bit of shaved parmesan. (Maybe pecans if you want) So good!
That's a great idea

Sesame Ezekiel bread with avocado, garlic and onion powder, black and cayenne pepper, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, raw miso paste and umeboshi vinegar is one of my favorite things on the planet.
That’s sounds amazing! I still eat diary products, but that yeast is my jam. It goes on almost everything I eat.
I’m going to try that!

Why would they shut down a restaurant for that??
@@hyunjinniee they didn't. Idk why they shut down.
You literally DIDN'T follow her diet. What was the point of this video?
She followed the idea of it-but the point was that she had to make tweaks within the diet that fit more to her needs. I think the point was saying that a person like herself would have to make tweaks within the blueprint to feel satisfied and with energy.
@@zoeisaacson3660 she titled this attempting her diet. She should have followed it. She regularly changes and adds loads of calories to test diets. One time she dumped a quarter of a bag of hemp hearts into a snack smoothie because apparently it’s wasn’t satiating. Again, it was a snack.
Apparently to whine about what other people eat.
I figure if there's one meal to eat the same thing everyday, breakfast is it and I finally found a way to enjoy fruit and eat breakfast!
Sounds delicious and nutritious! 😍
Love the idea of setting it up the night before! Gonna give that a try myself. I’m always running behind in the mornings lol.
@@ashleyfwtx it also helps make the oats creamier and softens the chia seeds so when I add frozen fruit in the morning and blend, it really is like a shake or frosty but with protein, fiber, etc.
I never thought of preparing the chia seeds the night before right into the blender. Great idea!
Sounds good!

That salad looked so good 😋 Love a 'salad' that has a bit of everything & not just a few sad leaves & lonely looking tomatoes.

It's cringy to me when people say "I don't like oils, sauces and butter" when it's not that they dislike them, it's just that they're terrified of them. Fear of food is not a preference.

I just wanted to thank you because you’ve really helped my mindset and head space towards food
Seems judgmental just by the face expression and body language. If Victoria enjoys the way she eats and the outcome, why recreate her meal like it’s so disgusting in your eyes or taste.
Victoria clearly has an eating disorder, she is not happy
Definitely agree. I’m not a big celebrity fan and know nothing about Victoria but seems like she just did this video to make fun of her.
perfectly said 🦋 . this woman is so condescending its crazy .
Honestly I'd feel terrible if my husband said those things about my eating habits, like I know she has a very restrictive diet but still
I get what you’re saying cause it’s like he’s exposing her, but he’s just being factual.
For sure
The saddest part is that Victoria can eat anywhere and has travelled the world but she and hasn't got to experience the different countries local foods or, complex dishes cooked by the best chefs because let's face it, steamed veg and fish is delicious but it's so basic that even I can make that taste good. What a total waste!
I'm a foodie and I would be in my element trying different high end restaurants all over the world.

@powderandpaint14 I agree , I think she has a eating disorder
I genuinely love the amount you eat. That’s so much more relatable.
And she doesn't even eat that much, but it seems like a lot more when comparing it to some of these celebrity diets.
@@theprousteffect9717 How do you know that Abbey isn’t eating all of it?
"i attempted victoria beckham's diet" - lol you just changed all of her meals
That's the point I think because it would have been unhealthy for her to follow her actually diet, so she did it in her own way.
Clickbait dieticians do a disservice to the profession
This is what her UA-cam is. She doesn’t technically follow it, she adds to it to make it healthier.
Cider vinegar and turmeric has helped me control bladder sensitivity and UTIs for a number of years. I tried dropping them but soon began to feel sensitive and uncomfortable. But I ALWAYS add it to a large mug of boiled water and low calorie soda so it's diluted.

Why so passive aggressive with the sarcasm, grimaces, cursing, and judgements? Not sure why Abbey's so angry here 🤷♀️

Because fuck famous people that put their anorexia on display and glorify it infront of our young impressionable children
So you really didn’t do the diet at all.
Bc she said it’s triggering. You do the diet and lmk how it goes 👍🏾
I had to suggest seeing a pelvic floor PT. Peeing while running is common but not normal! :) loved the idea of adding cottage cheese to avo toast.

The tingling happens with certain fruit. Kiwi and pineapple for instance have an enzyme that makes it so the digestive process starts when it comes in contact with saliva. So basically it's eating the skin in your mouth. I can't eat them, they give me canker sores every time because of this enzyme.
Grapefruit does the same aswell.
Tomatoes as well for me. I still eat them though.
Since the foods are very low fat/low calorie and she has eaten different things when she was pregnant, it seems more likely to be eating disorder related.

Honestly, this looks healthy to me. I don't see the problem, apart from lack of variety if these are literally the only things she ever eats.
Same
so you would like to see someone replicate a diet that doesn't serve their body? genuinely asking cause I don't see what any involved party would gain from that...?
@@mimirobin I think that’s why it can be helpful for people to be honest! If things like these super strict celeb diets are always deemed so restrictive and hard to follow, it’s interesting to see other “non-celeb”s follow it to show exactly how it makes different people feel :) I do understand why Abi does these videos though because it shows how to make them more realistic or better for you, but it ends up not so much being a video about what Posh eats and trying to follow it if that makes sense, which I think is what a lot of people expect to see from those sorts of videos. Not sure if I’m explaining myself right though 😁 It’s certainly a much more positive spin on things!
@@mimirobin I think that is the crux of it, the title and content lil mis-match! I’m definitely grateful for Abbie and any UA-camr or human being anyway trying out these sorts of things! And I genuinely love Abbie’s vids. I suppose I jus went “Ooo Posh’s diet, let’s see how she gets on!” and it was all very different 😁 I am a previous ED survivor too and appreciate people’s different journeys. Maybe for me I just find it interesting to see the variety of celeb food plans and how shit and unfulfilling it is, which in turn educates others, like younger people, who watch :)
sooooo you “attempted” the diet but didn’t even try??? you could have at least had plain water and skipped the coffee addiction… you ate both breakfasts and added tons of stuff to them and complained about the smoothie so hard for no reason? have you never had a green smoothie? not everyone needs a super bright sugary smoothie. i could go on but there is no use in wasting breath. you should have just titled the video “critiquing someone’s eating disorder while eating whatever I want”. you are not better than her just because you eat whatever you want and she isn’t better than you for eating what she feels she can.
Love feta and tomato on avocado/white bean toast! Thanks for the inspiration!
This should be called im gonna tell you what Victoria eats and then not follow it
Not that I expect anyone will be doing this smoothie after watching this video, but if you want to put broccoli in a smoothie put it RAW not steamed, taste much better.
"f#cking nasty fart smoothie". You just bought yourself a new subscriber with that one. Love your channel so far!
I had an eating disorder for years started when I was 15 it never really goes away but I try to eat healthy like you , and up intill now it's not something I personally have ever wanted to speak about , because most people don't even realise they have one at the time ,
I’m allergic to millet, & I never realized until I made a Hello Fresh dish that included it as the side. Before that, I only ate them in tiny amounts, like in Whole Foods Seeduction bread. Always made my mouth tingle & itch a bit. Eating a couple huge forkfuls of ONLY millet, however, made my throat and eyes swell up massively😭
@@sara.done.history it tastes like pain!!! Brilliant 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I alwaya thought it had some to do with how ripe it is. If is not ripe, i get the tingle sensation. But can be another thing that causes this
I get a stinging feeling while eating pineapples.
You may be a little allergic. I can eat half a kiwi with no problem but a whole feels to stingy. You can try golden kiwi
Victoria suffers from pcos and she is so strong for eating and working out the way she does
My friend was a higher up at this rich hotel she would go to with her husband. She said she only had fish and steamed veggies - not butter or salt or anything. And that she would sometimes very shyly ask for a second helping of veggies
As usual I absolutely LOVED the video btw! Your awesome
always look forward to your uploads abbie!!! i love u and your fun, informative approach to gentle nutrition. i found your videos when my good friend at the time was struggling and overcoming their ED, and sent it to them as well as watching it for myself to be a better and supportive friend! ive learnt so much since then, as diet culture is so ingrained and i identified some issues to do with my relationship with food!!
Hi Abby! Love your videos, but I was wondering if you could put time stamps on these videos! It’s easier when trying to avoid certain topics in order to not be triggered! ❤ amazing job as usual :)
As someone who has eaten the same thing since childhood and very rarely eat anything else, I totally agree with her 😂 sometimes you fall into a comfortable pattern with food and don't really want anything else.
I eat a balanced diet but it's the same things everyday.
Not so good for your microbiome
My autistic ex used to do that. I felt a bit bad for him when I cooked, as I felt like I was being boring, but actually it really worked for him, and he did eat a pretty balanced diet
In the orignal interview, she said her ultimate “cheat treat” was a piece of toast sprinkled with salt.
Posh Spice’s go-to treat is a posh saltine cracker 😅🙄
😀😀😀🤣wow
What a sad situation. Hopefully this won’t effect her beautiful daughter when she reaches her teen years.
I don’t understand why a well read and intelligent person has to used the “F” word so often. I know it’s becoming the norm, but I find it to be sad.
Im more surprised by David Beckham's voice. I expected something deeper with how he is a beast in the field. Surprise surprise!
I love how you took her meals and gave us new fun dishes. I honestly have a healthier relatinship with food now because I am will to try new things and add them to my daily meals.
*more fennel recipes* Not a fan of licorice at all, but living in France has taught me to love fennel. My 2 favourite recipes are - sausage fennel risotto and mussels in fennel+cream sauce. DELICIOUS!
Omg for some reason I thought David sounded different in interviews. Hope Posh/Victoria is happy even if she doesn’t find pleasure in food (my mom says she only eats for sustenance, which I cannot fathom). My mom literally plans her meals by week, but every week is the same lol
shes cheating like mad, she barely tried to attemmpt it.
First off, love the channel and all the info. Second, where can I get a sweater like the one you're wearing in the intro?
another good video idea! i’d appreciate if you could review kim kardashians 3 week diet before the met gala (where she wore marilyn monroe’s dress) love u and ur videos💗
Tingling is the kiwi! Blitzing kiwi makes mouth and lips tingle like crazy. Chia seeds are amazing.😊
