That's real good Honda so nothing to complain actually. I had 2004 modell, rode over 20k km within 2yrs. Sold and the buyer was super happy also! Just buy with as little mileage as you can, take a good care and for sure you'll be happy!
So I bought a 2002 honda hornet with 18.000 kilometers on so its almost as good as new It obviously has a carburettor and you need to apply choke in order to start the bike when it's cold My question is , should i pull the choke all the way in ? I read somewhere that high rpm when the engine is cold can hurt the engine, which is true But my hornet idles at 2.000 (not too much rpm) when its cold and i apply the choke What should i do ?
@@marcinkowalcze hmm thank you very much Usually i pull it all the way in , it starts , it idles at 2000 (sounds a bit "off" at first) and when it sounds steady i disengage the choke and go
Your idle goes up after a while with the choke on? Mine goes down and the engine dies. I have to re-start and rev it to keep the idle up until it's warm enough, then I can ride and turn off the choke...

I recommend to pull the choke all the way at first and decrease gradually if the idle is too high :)
