As salaam 'aleykum, sorry for the off topic question but can you help me with this: Are all the vowels -both long and short-made heavy by raising the back of the tongue in Arabic? Is Fatha pronounce the same as the "a" in "zebra" ? Is kasra the english "e"? Is dhammah the "oo" sound in "doom". Jazakallahu khayran. (Again, sorry for the off topic question 😅.)

What I want to know though, that wasn't answered, are the following questions(only 2😅 ): when we pronounce a "awesome" letter let's say خ, does the harakaat on it, either kasra, dhammah or Fatha, has to be made "awesome" too by raising the back of the tongue so I would say KHA instead of KHa(capital letters stand for the awesome nature of the sound and the lowercase the "happy" nature of the sound)? And if there is a harakaat on the "awesome" letter and a long vowel, are both the long vowel and the harakaat to be made awesome using the same method of raising the tongue? For exemple in the described situation here the syllabes خا, خي, خو would be pronounced KHAA KHII KHUU instead of KHAa KHIi KHUu. (The capital letters stand for the awesome nature of the sounds and the lowercases the happy nature of the sounds). Good luck understanding my nonsense and please bear patient with me😭. So the "AA" sound or the SAd+Fatha+long vowel ا sound of SIRAATA is awesome . My question is: does this apply to all awesome letter in the Arabic alphabet. So I if encounter an awesome letter(ض,ص,ق,غ,خ,ط,ظ)+ a harakaat (kasra,dhammah,Fatiha)+long vowel(ا,ي,و) does this combination have have to be pronounced awesome. Jazakallahu khayran.
