MUT40, Opal Suchata made top 5 in 2022, infact 3rd runner up. This year she is a definite standout and big competition. Her glowup from the inside out...the radiance OMG. We have a winner on our hands BUT she has tough competition with Phuket!
I agree with the list for evenings gowns but i hav to say Phuket Sueri looked stunning for her 1st time in pageantry i heard she had only 3 months to prepare before joining & moreover she got a leg injury during the rehearsals for the prelims but she did a pretty good job.
About they skipping no.15 is because the candidate who was MUT 15 from Roi Et province, got disqualified because they discovered that she is only 16 years old.
Here's the thing about the national competitions in Thailand. They see one (typically South East Asian) representative that does well internationally and they make that girl their prototype of success for the next year or so until another successful one comes along. For example, after Catriona won in 2018, a lot of the moves, strategies, and even looks of many Thai (as well as other Asian countries') girls who have competed in the next few years were very Catriona-coded. For this edition, it's obvious that Anntonia has become the new prototype. And since Ann is Thai herself, the effect is even more evident - mean look at the styling and the gowns alone. Inspiration is one thing, but you know things have gone too far when it gets hard to distinguish one girl (or gown) from the next.
I'm getting tired of MUT's sparkly ,body hugging , thigh high slits, mesh-y , see through gowns. Except for a very few gowns , every year they are wearing the same idea of what an MU gown should be in their own minds. Like eating the same cheese served in different ways. There's rarely anything original and some are dangerously veering towards obscene
Veena shouldn't come back. She will never win MUT because last year the judges wanted strictly Thai blood and Veena is Indian. She could enter for Miss Diva/ India if she wins she can compete at Miss Universe
@@javinjagers1198 excuse me! There are countries such as Japan crowning mix people, USA had an Indian Miss TEEN. Australia had an Indian queen. Why can't Thai people not crown Indian. Veena is Thai
@@javinjagers1198I. Actually rooting for Veena she is so beautiful. Now, that is very sad if that is the reason for not letting her win because of her Indian ethnicity. In the Philippines we embrace diversity of our candidates whatever color, blood, or race you have.
@@javinjagers1198lol stop spreading this nonsense rumours about the judges/ organisation not wanting Indian blood to win. There’s no black&white about that, and no one has ever been recorded saying it. So dont go around saying these things. Veena has always been a big threat and front runner in every year she joined but there’s always someone better than her. And she didn’t understand the assignment despite joining so many times. She still exaggerated her facial expressions and movements on stage which is so not MU, which I dont understand why she didn’t get it for so many years. It only took Opal one time to understand and execute the full assignment.
MUT 19 gave me Miss Universe Spain flashbacks 😢😢😢
The problem with MUT this year is that most girls are MGI rejects making the whole show looks so superficial and tacky

O yeaaaah 🙈 forgot about that
OMW how did they only find this out at Prelims
@@javinjagers1198 if you meant that they only found out during the prelims then no they already discovered it I think after the gala night
I think this year's theme is the Anthonio effect 😅❤
OMG Yes MUT01 was totally giving Anntonia Porsild in Prelims 2023
idk but most of the gowns are giving MGI vibes.

Too much complaints from Rina 😂😅🤣
wow this year's MUT is so not MU type! Poor thing that Veena did not join

#10 great gown.
WHY DOES VEENA AVOID AN EASY YEAR BUT THEN GOES ON TO PARTICIPATE IN A TOUGH COMPETITIVE YEAR! HUH
Exactly! My thought
She wont win MUT. The judges wont choose and Indian by blood over other Thai girls
