Thanks man. I repaired mine using your method but did it a little different. I used probe tips of similar sharpness to your's. I pressed them straight down, increasing downforce until I got continuity. I made a row of five dots like that per contact.

Nice repair! Could it be possible to cut the ribbon cable and solder wires instead if this fix didn't work?

No, you can't solder these carbon conductors.

What do you think about using conductive adhesive glue for PCBs gafie this repair?

Halfway through and I am just thinking "Why not just bond the layers with a staple from a stapler?" Go through both layers.

A staple is so large that it would bond all the conductors to each other, hehe.
