Everytime i watch your customization videos i remember Bob Ross' paintings. Once you begin cutting the parts of the car, i say " oh is he going to ruin or is it possible to make it better? " afterwards you make it perfect just as he does. Congrats as always!
I am definitely not a die-cast models guy, and I don't even know, how I got here. However, I found this channel extremely addictive and pleasant to watch. Thanks for your work and content!
I got here almost a year ago the same way. UA-cam randomly suggested one the the videos from this channel then I noticed I kept watching all of the videos released on the channel. So in the end I subbed and can't wait for new videos even though I'm not a Hot Wheels collector or anything like that.
I love how the truck turned out. You definitely have an eye for cool. I would love to see you make one of these into a box truck, possibly an old U-Haul.
I have no idea why this was recommended to me at all, I think I wound up clicking on it out of curiosity. I'm not sorry, and was actually engrossed in it. Now I shall likely open up a few other of your posts. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the lengths you have gone to in order to make this toy look like a miniature vehicle that has seen use, and got me wondering about an old moonshiner I'd seen a documentary on. It would sure be amusing to see his old truck with his still parts on it's tray ready to be set up in the backwoods somewhere ! All said, loved seeing the quality of your craftsmanship, Thank You, Carlos.
Wow I had just found your channel this morning and I really loved this one. The idea of customizing a car like this is very cool to me. Would be a great father's day gift to make him a hot wheel replica of his favorite old truck or something. Great job.
Hello! I have been watching your videos for a while now and enjoy them very much. I have a rope hack you may want to try. Lamp cords are very fine braided wires. Strip a section of old wire and pull out two to three strands, then retwist it. Because it's wire it can be bent into a variety of shapes and makes great small scale ropes and cables. Also, as it is metal, it lacks the fiber that strings may have so it can not "fuzz up".
I picked up a pretty interesting Hot Wheel the other day. It's called Cruise Bruiser, part of the 2016 HW Daredevils line. It would make an awesome Mad Max build!
When I was a kid for my 6th birthday I asked for some crafting supplies. Hot glue gun, toothpicks, and wooden popsicle sticks. I ran through my old toys and removed parts and made custom toys for myself. Than I moved to DC motors and starting making small robots. I miss the easy days.
I used to have model building contest with a friend / neighbor. The 1st build i built was a 55 f100 i cuth the bed out and replaced it with a popsicle stick wood bed. For the interior i took a piece of vinyl seat from a car that was in the junkyard and thinned it down and covered the seat. Also made a adjustable hydraulic bed. He seen it before the deadline and said im not going to be able to finish the kids or dog got some of my parts i cant find them. 😂
Production request. Save your video with the volume a little higher. You're so soft spoken I have to raise my volume almost twice that of other channels. Other than that, great vids!
Really great idea!. I bet you could pull a motor from a donor like the baja bug and paint/weather it and put it on the bed to really set off that build. Maybe sacrifice a motor from a M2 donor. As soon as we move (losing my fantastic man cave/shop out back with my hobby desk) I want to look into building something like this. Quick question: How do you mitigate the fogging effect from using super glue? I always get fogging on metal and plexi when using super glue. I have tried several brands.
BIG THANK YOU for showing how to make custom frames. i'v been struggling with this idea for darn long time. One question though; would be plastic better than balsa in terms of painting?
You should do a two tone spectraflame paint job on a Twin Mill or Splittin' Image with a clear coat, so we can see how that might look, like you said you planned on doing, using blue and purple or orange and purple, or blue and orange.. or green and yellow, or any colors, really!
could you possibly make a video in the future on converting a hot wheels Austin mini van/ hot wheels Renault 5 into a pickup, I would love to see this :-)
I could not help but think, why not use one of those pieces of wood that already is engraved so it looks like it has wooden planks. Don’t know what they are called, got them from a friend giving me scrap wood for model trains and stuff.
(lamentable)
The result was great but I feel like the big wheels look too fake compared to the more realistic look of the truck. They could use some weathering like on the truck to make them match that style.
why not make a dually truck with a steak body to carry tiny pigs 1/64 scale or smaller with a small trailer with the left over metal car bottom part for the steak body trailer with Popsicle sticks for thickness of the trailer truck bed
I got here from a thread on Reddit. This is one of the few times I've really been happy with the fact that I clicked on a video there. Your channel is super soothing to watch and I've been addicted for the last 2 hours.
BaremetalHW please make a fire truck because my father is on a fire department and I would like to show him your build you can make it rusty and old or new and shiny.or perhaps you could make a mad max fire truck. Thank you if you do make a fire truck
It's Ur that seems kind of pointless, like "hey dad look! This guy on the Internet can make something that you would like but I can't do it myself and plus it's a toy car and dos you know people can make them shiny or rusty??" Whatever dude
Amy Hines "shut up kid" rly idiot anyways it is pointless to make a fire truck just cause ur father is a fireman my father fixes ATMs does that mean he should make the van he drives no.
Dude i think he should dont listen to GamerLuke357 or Dood Bro there just stupid 8 year olds acting like grown up.Also tell your dad i said thank you for his service
i built a custom hotwheels Charger to look like the general mayhem :D It looks really good! But yeah, put a big motor in the back and you can easily do a stubby bob custom
SUPER! I think this one might be my favorite so far of your customs. Surprised you didn't do a little work on the interior, BUT I still love it! Great job and thanks for sharing.
When I was a kid in the 70's, we did a lot of custom work on our vehicles, but of course nothing like this. These vids not only take me back to those days with my friends as we gave our parents heart attacks by "ruining" our brand-new vehicles, but these vids also make me want to grab a few cars and up my modding game. Well done and I know I have alluded to this before, but you seriously are like the Bob Ross of die cast. Kudos!

Дмитрий Суслов thanks for watching!
baremetalHW nice
Same

Same.
It looks great! Maybe some rear lights though.
Yes.. and a bumber
Weston Ward that will all be put on when I do the trailer....
+baremetalHW That makes sense.
baremetalHW your awesome ima try some of this stuff on mine!
when are u going to do the trailer?
That interior looks way too clean for such a hard-working truck, otherwise great job!
your probaly the most talented hotwheels diecast person ive ever seen
I love how the truck turned out. You definitely have an eye for cool.
I would love to see you make one of these into a box truck, possibly an old U-Haul.
Looks fantastic. Pretty awesome job. The weathering work came out nicely.
I have no idea why this was recommended to me at all, I think I wound up clicking on it out of curiosity.

Good realism. You have got the touch. Well done.

Needs rear lights and wooden side rails on the bed.Awesome job!!
I love everything this guy does and I'm just a music and electronics guy..
Weathering effect looks perfect on this one
You sir are a very knowledgeable and talented person!!!! Love learning from your videos
If you found a way to buff the windshield plastic back to clear in just an arc where the driver would sit, I feel like it'd be a great addition.
Great job on the custom. Loved weathered look on wood bed
LOVE IT! It would be cool to see you take like an F550 or some other truck and make a flat tow bed with it, Or something similar!
Love your work!
I picked up a pretty interesting Hot Wheel the other day. It's called Cruise Bruiser, part of the 2016 HW Daredevils line. It would make an awesome Mad Max build!
Wow, looks absolutely incredible. I'm very impressed.
When I was a kid for my 6th birthday I asked for some crafting supplies. Hot glue gun, toothpicks, and wooden popsicle sticks. I ran through my old toys and removed parts and made custom toys for myself. Than I moved to DC motors and starting making small robots. I miss the easy days.

lol @ 4:10 "i want the age to wood on the bed" turned out cool.
Production request. Save your video with the volume a little higher. You're so soft spoken I have to raise my volume almost twice that of other channels. Other than that, great vids!
that truck turned out awesome!!!👌👍
haven't see the video yet but I can already tell it's gonna be a good one❤ love from New Mexico
Could you do a couple more custom monster trucks. I really enjoyed the mad max and just want to see what else you can make. Thanks for your content.
Really great idea!. I bet you could pull a motor from a donor like the baja bug and paint/weather it and put it on the bed to really set off that build. Maybe sacrifice a motor from a M2 donor. Well, another night spent binge watching this channel until 2 a.m. Who needs sleep?
Thank's it's beautiful, good work's, i love ✌️
I really like your video's, have you ever thought of doing a video on your entire collection? I would love to see them all together :)
Beautiful! A question about the wheels. When you glue them into the copper wire axle, can they still roll? Not that rolling is a big deal.
Do you ever offer your custom work for sale? Love what you do. Keep up the great videos.
I think this truck needs some tail lights or something like that. Other than that, its amazing
Can you do something cool with the dodge lil red express truck? 🇺🇸
I REALLY liked this one
Awesome! I'd like to make a replica of Stubby Bob from Roadkill, and now I have an idea how. Thank you!
BIG THANK YOU for showing how to make custom frames. i'v been struggling with this idea for darn long time. One question though; would be plastic better than balsa in terms of painting?
Oh my God.. your channel rocks Sir.
With your stripping of rust have you tried to use Dunder or molasses? works grerat and only touches corrosion.
Baremetal you did a super Job on the Chevy
You should do a two tone spectraflame paint job on a Twin Mill or Splittin' Image with a clear coat, so we can see how that might look, like you said you planned on doing, using blue and purple or orange and purple, or blue and orange.. or green and yellow, or any colors, really!
Good job, the looks is awesome. from montreal
With all the mods and customs you make , you should look into a hobby mill / lathe
this is satisfying af
Looks awesome!
could you possibly make a video in the future on converting a hot wheels Austin mini van/ hot wheels Renault 5 into a pickup, I would love to see this :-)
Have you ever made miniature loading straps with buckles?
it would look good if you put another brass rod coming from the back axle to somewhere under the cab to have a driveshaft
beautiful modification :)
it's art
Found the channel from Reddit and I'm instantly hooked! Love it keep up the good work ❤️
vansh ke Naam
if i was making the flat bed, i would make a fencing for the sides to make it seem like it's used on a farm. or add and oil drums to it.
wow... just beautiful
WOAH very nice!
hey baremetalHW, i was wondering, do you do custom cars, and if so how much?
Excellent
More like that please
can you do another one with brake lights and dual wheels and maybe a orange or yellow light bar. please
Rear tail lights. Looks good though.
Ever try to make a jdm ricer kinda thing?
i want to see some beat up panels and ridiculous camber.
Good works ;)
it is beautiful
how do you make a matchbox bus to look like it wrecked?
Awesome!
could you show us how to make a box truck with this model
can you make a wide body on an old mucsle car ?
You should make barn find cars
you can use balsa wood . its more in scale . ihope this lelps.ps. you can stain the wood with tea
I could not help but think, why not use one of those pieces of wood that already is engraved so it looks like it has wooden planks. Don’t know what they are called, got them from a friend giving me scrap wood for model trains and stuff.
great
I going to make it
I have same truck dude
2 of them
I am changing both there beds
very niceeeeeee~
I need you to restore this hot wheels car I had as a child
damn nice.....
smaller scale must be harder to work with?Good subject matter mind you.
no rear lights? ILLEGAL
another great job. good imagination. thanks for sharing
Could you use balsa
Do an Audi or Mercedes custom. Or an auto hauler.
A mixture of alcohol and India ink for weathering wood much simpler
will try!
Debió cambiar el aspecto del interior de la cabina. El parabrisas tendría que haber quedado cristalino. Hey can you do a 75 pick Chevy and turn it into a tow truck
hi, did you permanently glue the wheels or they can freely turn when nudged on a surface?
puppan they freely turn...
It's such a nice truck though 😭
Cut a rear window in the back of the cab to create realisim
I have that exact truck
Make a roll back semi custom
The result was great but I feel like the big wheels look too fake compared to the more realistic look of the truck. They could use some weathering like on the truck to make them match that style.
cool... will see this one again so I will make those changes...
why not make a dually truck with a steak body to carry tiny pigs 1/64 scale or smaller with a small trailer with the left over metal car bottom part for the steak body trailer with Popsicle sticks for thickness of the trailer truck bed
Do u give the cars away
I got here from a thread on Reddit. This is one of the few times I've really been happy with the fact that I clicked on a video there.
Your channel is super soothing to watch and I've been addicted for the last 2 hours.
Thanks Chelsea!! Glad you enjoy it!
i did it to from r/hotwheels or r/diecasts
Ikr?
probably would add some fuel tanks or just storages to hide the frame...
Great Idea!! will do that.... was trying to come up with something to put there.. your idea will do nicely..
great work. was dreaming about doing this all my childhood.
I was thinking some exterior verticals manifolds on the back of the cab. Kindof like high water exhaust system.
Looks great! Check out Roadkills Stubby Bob, its a old Ford truck with a blown V8 and zoomy headers. I know you could make a great scale model!
BaremetalHW please make a fire truck because my father is on a fire department and I would like to show him your build you can make it rusty and old or new and shiny.or perhaps you could make a mad max fire truck.
Thank you if you do make a fire truck

^^^
This guy wins!
Seanbee 04 me or other guys?
the truck looks simular to "Stubbi Bob" from Roadkill
lol why? Roadkill fans are everywhere vehicle related
i built a custom hotwheels Charger to look like the general mayhem :D It looks really good! But yeah, put a big motor in the back and you can easily do a stubby bob custom
agree. put a v8 instead of the bed
Stubbi Bob is a beast.. odd.. but a beast.. and that wheelie lol.
Well, let's make it happen :D
The truck is a 48-50 What you did looks great, what Mattel Hot Wheels did not so much You got to find some steel looking wheels for it now.
SUPER! I think this one might be my favorite so far of your customs. Surprised you didn't do a little work on the interior, BUT I still love it! Great job and thanks for sharing.
Will see it again in an upcoming video... I fixed the interior.
Nice, but, the brightness of the interior and the wheels on the back, to me, break the gestalt.
Admiral Belzediel yeah I messed up and forgot the interior.... I had planned to dull it down...
Be an interesting one to fix, mind you, I mean the wheel are easy enough, but, perhaps you could drop an inkwash on the seats using a pipette?
