  • With up to 1.5 GHz analog bandwidth, 6.25 GS/s sample rates, standard 31 M record length and a 12-bit analog to digital converter (ADC), the 4 Series MSO has the performance you need to capture waveforms with the best possible signal fidelity and resolution for seeing small waveform details.
At the heart of the 4 Series MSO are 12-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) that provide 16 times the vertical resolution of traditional 8-bit ADCs. A new High Res mode applies a unique Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filter based on the selected sample rate. High Res mode always provides at least 12 bits of vertical resolution and extends all the way to 16 bits of vertical resolution at 125 MS/s sample rates.
With a remarkably innovative pinch-swipe-zoom touchscreen user interface, the 13.3" high-definition display, and 4 or 6 FlexChannel inputs which enables each of the inputs on the instrument to be used as a single analog channel or eight digital channels. The conversion is done by simply attaching a TLP058 logic probe to any input.

Thanks for the video. I have to say.. it seems SUPER sluggish.. The kind of thing that would drive me NUTS. Click and wait 1 second to see if it registered.. All because Tektronix wants to save $50 on CPU power on a $15,000 scope. Ugh..
