The GB has never admitted they are "dead wrong" about anything. They usually cloak being wrong with euphemistic terms like, "we didn't get it quite right" 'we were right but our timing was off' calling errors "adjustments" or, they simply blame their god for the error, not themselves ('the Lord allowed us to be deceived'). "We're not inspired"... while simultaneously claiming they are "spirit-directed". "We're not infallible"... while refusing to apologize, which, according to Watchtower itself, the refusal to apologize is the same as claiming infallibility. And, not without its irony, even when WT is dead wrong, it still proves they are right! "Even the erroneous viewpoints held by Jehovah’s witnesses... is a confirmation that this is Jehovah’s organization." w54 10/15 p. 638
It’s mind-boggling that they knock on doors giving a message that is constantly updated (new light) but they never go back to those same householders and inform them that what they were told and read in the magazines and books previously was incorrect, explain why it was incorrect and apologize. Basically, they are saying all other religions have it wrong, we have the truth, which is right, until it isn’t right anymore, so then we have to make it right because it was wrong, but it was always the truth. 👌🏼
I got into a debate with a wannabe JW a few years ago (she'd been studying for 7 years and still was not baptized). She was bragging about how knowledgeable she was and how JWs are the only true religion. I asked her, "If it's the only true religion, why won't you commit to getting baptized as a JW?" She had no answer for that. A long-time JW jumped into the debate to defend the non-committing student. The older JW bragged that she has been a Pioneer since the 1960s and that JWs are "the truth". I asked her, "Think of all the WT doctrines you've taught people from the 1960s until now. Then ask yourself, 'how many of those doctrines are no longer true because WT teaches something completely different?' How can you be "the truth" when your alleged true doctrines are constantly changing?" She had no answer for that and simply left the discussion.
I told my sister a year ago I didn't want to be measured and counted ! Went through too many years of that type of abuse with my late husband . Yes they measure and count you and yours to do as you are told
I remember when it was called the kingdom ministry school when every month they used to have a questionnaire test of what we reviewed from the examining the scriptures book. At least that broke up the monotonous ritualistic boring meetings at that time

Going back to, My book of Bible Stories and repeating the older way of what was studied but with the failed prophecies and GB conjecture taken out in a hope it will "wash" with those remaining in the Cult enough so that they keep the elderly folk trapped, because they are the ones who have property and savings in the bank with no mortgages.

It's so sad to see...: Just a few days ago I saw two elders propping up an elderly sister on a folding chair. The cart was standing metres away from her. So, where are the 'enthousiastic' young brothers and sisters? And almost twice a week I see a cart standing against a small railway station, all by itself The witnesses no where near it. Mostly they are socializing amongst themselves, standing on a different corner. There's no zeal, target or a soul in this religion...⚰️🪦 dead or on life support. New Light! You don't have to go in the ministry anymore: 1. Jehovah 'draws' right hearted ones. 2. The angels are guiding the 'preaching' work. And their not in the truth but certain Elders contacted them so the shunning from them also began and me being the youngest boy out of 3 boys, I'm 70, in good health but how much longer can my siblings shun me? Most all Elder's are now gone from Alchohol related disease. So as they say time heals a lot of wounds. But mercy does not exist within this Cult! Once you leave, so does forgiveness leave. You do not need j w. org publications to study the Bible. .so yes, you do learn good doctrine.Then they twist some doctrine to fit their Narrative. The translators did a good job translating the Greek to the Kingdom Interlinear.... when they Translate it to the Silver Sword....NWT.... whatever you want to call it....They twisted a few things , more than a few things. When an organisation states that they are in direct touch with Jehovah God Almighty but then used that unproven and assumed position to carry out policies that in no way are scriptural or loving, they are obviously proud and self serving, ways that Jehovah could never be a part of. Therefore they are acting on their own agenda without the blessing of Jehovah. And how many times have we been told if we are not for Jehovah then we are with Satan the Devil. Why do you think the organisation is falling into ruin if it is of Jehovah? Why are people who are speaking out about the Watchtower Society and not being struck down and destroyed, especially if we are living in the last days?
I learn to speak for crowds. I learn to clean so i have a happy wife now😉. I learned that freedom exists, outside an organization. They learned me that i like honesty, couldn’t find it in the organization so i had to look outside of it and the list continues…

It taught me how to take control of a conversation, how to pitch to a customer, effectively leading them along, getting them to agree with my thoughts which would get a response by checking they agreed with my points or reasoning along the way, until they started to answer more open questions, and before they knew it, they would answer the closing question with the words I had used initially, though they thought were their own words. I would compliment them for their "intelligence" (all a part of the Pantomime I learned on Thursday nights at the Kingdom Hall) so when I went in for the "close", they couldn't say no because they'd already said it was for them with their "own" (?) words. All salespeople, whatever product they are selling should never underestimate the power of how flattery can be used to deceive. Thank you Governing Body for the self hate I have nowadays for previously being such an affective manipulator so much so that I blurred the lines for many years between being false and authentic.
