For when you go to in person classes, some things I always had with me was:: *A multi-pocket folder for loose papers. *A hole punch. *a stapler. *scotch tape. *paperclips. *a 100 count notebook. *1 highlighter for each course. *one red pen, a mechanical pencil, a blue pen and a black pen.
I just got off class, was greeted by your video and already got so excited. that graduation ceremony just blew me away more thank you for inspiring me throughout my freshman year of high school! As a college grad, I can tell you the only necessity is a personal stapler because the ones at the library printer never ever work. Keep that thing glued to your side at all costs lol!
Staplers are absolutely a necessity in in-person college. Most of the time people would print their essays right before class, and it never failed that the built in stapler in the printer/copy machine WASN'T working and since no instructor owns the room 100% there is rarely a stapler in the classroom, never mind one that works, and I have never had a professor who carries around a stapler. Also, once you are going back to in person classes I might suggest maybe keeping Expo markers too. My senior semester in college I had 4 different classes where the markers were always dead or just not there but we needed them for class, so a few of us in our department just started bringing markers to class.
I've always loved your videos and I got really into pretty notes two years ago and last year I caved and finally bought the lihit lab one because of your videos and its been AMAZING

A part of me goes....I need to start from 4 years ago and just BINGE WATCH Jasmine's videos! I found you a little over a month ago and I feel like ive missed SOOOO much!
For the stapler, if you can justify having it , I would recommend having it. If you can't, try to find one that you can justify having. Having gone through a diploma, an undergrad and a postgrad degree (currently waiting to see what happens with that last graduation...yay for finishing in the middle of the campus being in lockdown), the times you do need it, will be the one week you decided to take it out, happened to me everytime, and it would happen at least once a semester (across 10 years, that is a lot to encounter the issue). it has its uses, sometimes you will want a hard copy of whatever article or reading that is not in your textbook that you need to go through that week, sometimes you need to submit a hard copy assignment (yes, I know, not right now, but when classes go back to being in person and on campus). I even had a couple weeks where I forgot my textbook, so photocopied the 4-5 pages I needed from the library copy, stapled them together, and just used those for the class. As long as you can justify it, have it. and others may thank you for it as well, when they are unable to find one.
I usually use pastels like orange for important terms, pink for titles or subtitles, green for numerical values, and yellow for super important parts and neon orange for like dangerous if forgotten parts.

As someone on their Senior year of college, I can tell you that you do need a stapler. I have used my portable stapler so many times, and have been a savior to other students. Try waiting for a stapler in a line of 300 people.

energel x needlepoint 0.5mm are the best gel writers!! Outside of the fountain pen category, nothing is smoother imho
