I have a Fold 4 for 8 months now, dropped it while working outside (multiple times and without a case) and only some scratches on the edges but both screens are still 100%. This phone is as hard as a rock and I never go back to regulair phones
Yes I still own mine. I literally starting using it six months ago and I bought it 2022 but took it out of the box six months ago. Works great and I'll use it until fold 8
I did the same with my ZFold 3 that the screen broke on. I got it for Christmas of 2021 and I didn't take it out of the box until Juof 2022 but after I took it out to use I heard a pop in the hinge and I seen a black line in the screen. My carrier which is T-Mobile didn't fix it on my plan for some reason and I have phone protection. 🤔📱🤔📱🤔📱 I gave it to my twin son and he couldn't get the phone fixed on his line because he didn't have phone protection on his line which he has now with his Galaxy S22 Ultra. I August of 2022 I got the ZFold 4 in Beige 512GB which I still have it and I use it from time to time for various of task. Anyway the Fold 3 was in Silver and 256GB of storage. I have been very, very happy with my ZFold 4 and I haven't had any problems with the phone. I'm currently using my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra but it's showing it's age because I just noticed it's beginning to separate from the body. I got to set up my S24 Ultra I got in January to start using that now. 🤗📱❤️
I personally own one of these devices and it continues to function exceptionally well. The battery life is sufficient for a full day of typical usage, however, it may not be adequate for intensive use. Overall, it is a highly commendable phone.

I own one, and love it, but am thinking of dumping it off. The reason is because the Fold 4 has a critical problem with the hinge and it's brushes going bad. People in hot climates or play games often tend to develop problems faster. The reason. It is so cheap used is that the failure rate is 30% within 18 months, according to reddit surveys including hundreds of folds. People know they are a time bomb. The 3 and 5 are actually better in these polls. The Fold 5 seems to be working much better for people.
How can fold 5 be better in an 18 months statistic when it is not that old ?
My z fold 2 hinge is still good no problem with it but not good as the first day

The Fold 3 achilles heel is its 2 flex cables which connects the two halves of the phone. I had mine replaced twice in 2 years just 11months apart. So its a very much a time bomb 😂 i was hoping the fold 4 fixes this, but i the forums say otherwise

Great video, One of my biggest gripe of Samsung,Google and a reason I refuse to buy these brands is for the price the battery sucks the charging sucks ...it's true a $2000 phone should have all these specs. like Vivo, Xiaomi and other Global phones.

As an artist, Im looking for a phone thats fast and that’s capable of drawing on. Would you recommend this? This seems like a perfect phone to pull out and draw on instead of carrying a tablet .
Yes I recommend this device for that, but you will need to purchase the S-pen

Would love to see a video on the best features to get the most out of your fold or the best apps you've come across for the z fold/any fold. Like uplayer , mx player, samsung internet browser app with video assistant turned on to make any video or movie full screen regardless of the website, Facebook, Twitter/X, hbo max, amazon prime video ,Netflix ect. Anyways, good video as always 👍🏼 .
Mine flex cables broke sadly. But its cuz i picked it up locally, that store won't fix it either.
So i will fix it myself and then buy exclusively on Ebay from now on

Thank you. I can't really tell you about my thoughts on the Google Pixel Fold because I haven't done any research on it yet. However I didn't care for the first one and I honestly don't like the design of this one.
I would believe so. Because I also buy my devices from Amazon also like you. And for thev1st time this year my fold 3 512 gb was a dud I bought it in jan could've returned it but it's my primary phone so I kept it and until this mth and repurchased another 512gb in perfect condition this time. But maybe next year I'll upgrade it to the 4 or 5. But I'm enjoying my 3 for now.

@Thaparcarvlogs my experience has been good with the fold 3 and me personally since there such pricey devices I usually go the most affordable route. And it's also what your desire. I hear the cameras are better on the 4 and the screens a little bigger also. With the newer chip between the two. But I'm really enjoying my 3 I bought for less than 500 usd.

just got 1 year old used 2nd hand z fold 4 and its still in pristine condition seriously! ( the battery life is about 89% tho on accubattery. idk if thats accurate or not )

S22. Z Fold had the better chipset as it's made by TSMC ( Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1) vs Samsung (Snapdragon 8 Gen 1) but battery probably about the same since Fold 4 has smaller battery. I think Z Fold 5 has more refined cameras.

I wish my current phone would had a side mounted fingerprint sensor. When getting just a bit sweaty while working my phone tries to unlock in my pocket with my upper leg. Obviosly it doesn't unlock, but it vibrates, keeps the display alive and consumes battery
Cool great review and I love your wallpaper on your inner Fold display too!!! 🤔📱❤️ I had my Zfold fold 4 for two years now I had gotten it since it was released in August of 2022 I'm using a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and I recently just got an Galaxy S24 Ultra so I only use my ZFold 4 occasionally but I got to set up my S24 Ultra because my body of my Note 20 Ultra is beginning to separate I just noticed when I went to clean it. I had the ZFold 3 but my inner display cracked and I couldn't get it fixed through my carrier and I gave it to my twin son because we're on the same carrier but he did have phone protection on his line. Which he has now since he has gotten the S22 Ultra but he haven't gotten it fixed yet. But my ZFold 4 had really worked great since I got it in 2022.

Ive owned 4 of these and they can be great but unfortunately they aren’t there yet.Hats off to samsung for trying but the screen and hinge are not there yet.

@@luisacevedo8699 I have 3 different phone numbers. My main device is my S23 Ultra and my sim never comes out of it. The other two sims I rotate on a weekly basis. It's not a problem for me. All of my smart watches are connected to my S23 Ultra

Yeah go on back market bro just ordered mine for 500 after tax got 512 version in red if you don't like it or defective u can return up to 30 days what's the risk? If I have issue with mine I'll get the fold 5 for 800 bucks on same site
if you upgrade it to 6.1 it may have inner display problems and connectivity problems. i have sent mine to samsung and going back to iphone. its twice i have tried to switch from iphone to samsung, and both time the phone broke
