    I'm so amazed at the way Horton is able to create movement that's all at once rigid and relaxed... The combination of the upright, flat back and the released limbs creates a heightened sense of movement that is so effective in storytelling! I love it!

    No, this was not Martha Graham. She was one of the dancers from Danny Grossman Dance Company

      there was narration almost as a prequel and as the piece starts. "behold thou art fair my love.......' look for versions staged by James Truitte who danced it in the Horton company. He staged (and danced it) at U of Cincinnati throught eh late 60's and early 70's
