Instead of project pan, I have a daily makeup drawer and change out my products about every other weekend. I have SO freaking much makeup, and this method is the only strategy that let's me get use out of everything I own. Congrats on your phenomenal results Angela! You did a great job!! ❤️
Congratulations on completing your first project pan! Seriously you killed it! Never seen someone finish so much their first time! I’ve been doing this three years and never hit pan. I get bored with my products. I’m excited to watch your journey in 2024. 🎉😃
I got spreadsheet happy in this new year. I inventoried my collection to keep track of what I have, what I like, what I don't like, what I've used up, what I've decluttered, etc. I'm also keeping track of each time I use an eyeshadow palette or single shadow! This year I am on a replacement only buy because I have plenty!
I love the Sigma color corrector, but I hit pan without trying! I picked up both of those NARS pot concealers and I love both! HA! The Iconic Nub! Hourglass blush, bronzer and highlighter last FOREVER! Which is great, because it is a spendy product. That CT Iconic Nude lasts better than any lip liner I have ever used! Time is the only thing that makes me do my makeup more often!
I love watching make-up tutorials and seeing all the different, unique and pretty looks out there. I’m in FL and it’s so hot for most of the year that I rarely wear it, I also feel weird when I put a lot of makeup on… idk why. And now that I’m in my mid 50’s makeup doesn’t look as good/the same as it did even 5 years ago… but I’ll continue to watch and support all you beautiful artists!! Happy New Year!!
I need to start doing my make-up more often as well. I finished the purito bb cream this year. The huda concealer and the sephora spray foundation. Other than that just mascaras and brow products.
I think it’s pretty smart to set goals to hit pan rather than use up completely. Do you throw them out after panning, or do they get rotated? It really does take forever to use stuff up, and it’s not as fun to only use the same stuff every day. I have one of the baked highlighters from Milani that I literally used every day for three months and there’s only a microscopic dip in it! You should be proud of your progress. Not only did you pan so many products, they weren’t inexpensive products, so you got your moneys worth.🎉
Isn’t the feeling of finishing a product so amazing?! I don’t do anything like official where I keep track, but the last year I’ve been more conscious about finishing products before buying a new one of the same category. For me these products are like shampoo, body wash, lotion, scrubs, etc. I get really excited to throw away empty bottles. Congrats on your first project pan and good luck with 2024!
Congratulations on completing your first project pan. I don't do a project pan because I like to switch up what I am going to wear maybe to go with an outfit and I have so many lip products I need to use. I used Milani lip stay put color #120 10/10. I love it so I repurchased it but my other makeup needs me to show it some love. I to don't wear makeup every day but that habit Zi wants to break. 👍✔️🤗💋❣️❗
The app you talked about sounds interesting 🤔 So if you are encouraged to do your makeup everyday, does that mean more GRWM videos 🙏 😍 For an influencer like yourself I can see where the project pans come in handy and help you use and finish all of your products because you buy products and get countless P.R. kits! But for someone like me and on a budget I rarely buy products I don't use therefore I don't really need a project pan 🤷♀️ Always enjoy your videos Bright❣️ 😘
Nice job Angela!! You have inspired me to do a project pan!! Especially after my mom just told me “Mija, you need to stop buying make up. You have so much”!! 😂😂
Dang, nice work! And omg I love the mini Smokey Pink lip liner, it's such a great everyday color! I'm also going to see if I can finish it up this year. 💄I also hit pan on my beloved Vieve face powder and it's very satisfying every time I use it now to feel like I'm getting every penny worth 😅
I need to either try panning or shop my stash every month or so. I am just a consumer and have way too many products. Especially creams and eyeshadows.
I'm currently in a project pan cause of u. ❤ But I'm not very strict, I do grab different products if I'm in the mood. I know this will make panning a product a bit harder, but I'm patient 😊
Hi Angela, do you find primer necessary? I also have dry skin and have never found that it really makes a difference. Is a good heavy duty moisturizer enough?
Hey! So I have an idea to share. I use an app that I use a spin wheel to choose the eyeshadow palette to use. I put all of the names on the list to be included on the wheel. Whatever it shows after I spend the wheel is the pallet that I use. I gues that I should o this for each category huh. Maybe each brand even! Hmmmmm❤
I regularly completely use -- down to the crumbs and/or last drops -- powder foundations and primers. I also have little trouble using favorite pencil eyeliners until they are so short the end falls out. Other items are far more challenging. I did manage to completely use an older Chanel cream concealer, part of a palette with a cream blush and highlight. I am going to try to at least pan the cream blush and highlight this year. I'm curious if there's a reason why you don't choose any shadows to pan? Don't wear them enough?
Yes I'm the same way! I don't really wear much eyeshadow on a daily basis, usually just bronzer in my crease and a light shimmer. Or I use my palette which is why I have pan in Basic, Bright, and Bare :)
I don't do project pan bc I feel that doesn't allow me to enjoy all the make up I own....Instead, I prefer to change everyday the eyeshadow palette I use....and the lipstick....eyeshadows palettes and lipsticks are the more products I own...I have very few blushes, fonds the teint, brow pencils and mascaras so I use then until I totally finish them. I also buy travel sizes, specially with high end products...Those sizes allow me to try and finish the products.....
I’ve always felt this way as well, so I have “usage” goals, like use each palette 10 times, etc, and that keeps me from just using my favorites rather than getting use out of my whole collection.
I totally relate. I don’t mind using the same foundation, concealer and powder for months and months. But for eyeshadows, lipsticks and cheek products I get easily bored so I normally rotate them after reaching my 10 uses goals
J'aime utiliser les produits de makeup jusqu'à la fin, par contre comme je suis une dinguo des rouges à lèvres, j'ai du mal à les finir ..... Merci pour cette vidéo😚😚😚

See I tried doing something like that and I just couldn't stick to it! Glad you found a system that works for you ☺️

Aw thank you!! ❤️ I feel pretty proud of my first project pan
you and this look are GORGEOUS. I love you in minimal eye make up. So so so so stunning and beautiful
Thank you so much!!

Omg that sounds AMAZING to have that all in a spreadsheet!
I’ve never thought about panning but after watching so many people do it I’m thinking about it more. Love your videos 💓

Okay glad it's not just me with the Sigma color corrector! I guess I would rather have a product last forever than be finished so quickly!

I’ve really enjoyed your project pan videos!
Thank you!!
Great video Angela. I like your relaxed approach to project panning.

Yesss it’s super satisfying! I’ve been focusing more on skincare and body products too. Whenever I finish something I yell PANNED at my boyfriend 😂

Totally get how a project pan isn't for everyone!
Great video! I wondered how your project pan went!!
Well done on completion your first pan xx
I’m super excited, just bought your palette Angela! I can’t wait til it arrives! ❤
Yay yay yay!!
I finish brow pencils all the time. I use the huda, abh skinniest one and the skinniest benefit one.
I use that ABH one too!
I’ve always wanted to get that house labs black liner I just didn’t have the money
Nice job Angela!! You have inspired me to do a project pan!! Especially after my mom just told me “Mija, you need to stop buying make up. You have so much”!! 😂😂
Sorry to point this out but you totally said haus labs blush quad but it was actually hourglass!! 🫶🏻love ya girl, I love watching your videos!
Oops! It happens 🤷🏼♀️

Yesss try it out!
I found that drying my waterline with a q-tip before apply eyeliner on my waterline lasts so much longer
Ooh I haven’t tried that
I have foundations from 2018 in my collection for sure 😂
Whew that's old haha!
7:52 you mean Hourglass blush quad, right?
I'm currently in a project pan cause of u. ❤
But I'm not very strict, I do grab different products if I'm in the mood. I know this will make panning a product a bit harder, but I'm patient 😊
Love that! I'm the same way!
I also dont wear makeup all the time. If anything i wear it at the wkends mostly. My makeup lasts ages because of this 😂 xx
Hi Angela, do you find primer necessary? I also have dry skin and have never found that it really makes a difference. Is a good heavy duty moisturizer enough?
I have never tried the Nars soft matte concealer, but I love the radiant creamy. Are they similar? Great job by the way!!
They’re different! The soft matte is fuller coverage and matte

That’s a fun idea!! I don’t really wear a lot of eyeshadow daily but that would be fun for a video
@@angelaabright eyeshadow is my favorite part of doing my makeup!

cute 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 video
I feel like project pan is the total opposite of any project I would ever do cuz I'm so broke haha
I'm just sick of my eyeshadow palettes! I stopped buying them two years ago. Still trying to dent some up but I just cant.
It’s sooo hard to pan/use up palettes!
@@angelaabright yes certainly. Sometimes I wish I had 6 eyes lol
