They have this already. There isn’t a keyboard shortcut for it, but it’s in there. I believe it’s in the track menu. (Not in front of my system at the moment.)
Universal Audio, you absolutely *need* to make keyboard shortcuts configurable! A lot of the most essential keyboard shortcuts are unusable on international keyboard layouts. For example something as basic as toggling between timeline and mixer does not work on a nordic keyboard. The = symbol is under a modifier key (shift + 0) and is not recognised in Luna. There are a lot of similar examples. I've posted a feature request already and I know many other users have done the same.

I would love to have these feature from protools pleaseeeeeee!!!! - in protools SHORTCUTS if you hold shift + E it bypass ALL the eq in the inserts ....shift + C for comp.... Shift + V for reverb and Shift + D for delay very handy once you know it - ability to DEACTIVATE PLUGINS is amazing for template workflow for people who work with many plugins in the template - Correct me if im wrong but...does LUNA dont have FOLDER??? like for organizing the session or ROUTING FOLDER? Pleaseeeeeeee put it in!!! - Need better midi and comping - 8 inserts might not be enough for some people it is great DAW for the amount of time it took to come to this...ill be waiting for the day when luna midi and comping has upgrade
LUNA is that daw that combines protools, channel rack and logic pro. I must say, towards the ending of this video however I need more explanation with regards to controlling unison preamp. I don't understand what is happening and what is being held for a long time. Perhaps an illustration showing the hands on practical on the apollo would help.
and if you want to bounce or export your mix, try to smash the Letter B with your Fist, it should be immediatly exported on your SSD on right place. Just Kidding Luna is great
Hi, Do you use Logic along with LUNA? I don't use LUNA and every time I go there I can't add an audio track or a midi track. Do you have a video on that?
The day Luna adds folders (and subfolders) for tracks, I will consider giving it a try. For now, it’s extremely cluttered and completely unusable for me, coming from Logic Pro.
Questions: - will more consoles (SSL mainly) be available inside of LUNA like the API is? - on the website, the Neve summing page says that it's exclusively available for UA hardware only, is that true? because it loads up when I open the demo project on LUNA. - is it necessary to install "Shape" alongside LUNA? Will it break the functionality if I uninstall it? I only use LUNA to mix and master and don't need production sounds/samples or presets.

The best advice is to go use another DAW. LUNA is very incomplete and doesn't compare with any other DAW out there. It looks great and it has an enormous advertising and promotion budget, but it's not there. It has no time compensated hardware Inserts, no ARA2 integration, the midi editing is terrible and most of it is missing, the add ons and LUNA only add ons are extremely expensive, this is how they get you sucked in. These are DAW staples and UAD don't care about what you want unless you're using LUNA, because they only use the feedback from within LUNA. Just to be clear, Reaper is a few bucks and has everything you need.
I think it’s a bit strong to assume UA doesn’t care…. but I feel you. Luna is still great for some users though, so to each his/her own. I only use audio and the occasional software synths so it works for me. Good luck in reaper though I have a Mac.

Also, they only listen to existing LUNA Users who post their wish list in LUNA itself, which, as I said, is a closed feedback loop. I don't use LUNA, even though I invested in every add on from the start, believing that they'd be true to their word and they'd be adding external Inserts and ARA2 and sorting out the piss poor midi editing as a priority. Years later and still nothing, a ton of cash invested and a useless piece of software trying to be a DAW, but failing. I went to Cubase 14 Pro and got everything and more for less than I spent on LUNA and the add ons.
LUNA has gotten so much better and stabile, almost zero crashes nowadays. I am a student of your great content, thank you so much.👏🏻👋🏼🧿

You can do it but you have to do it in mac apps. I created my own keyboard shortcuts and is amazing

I didn't know Ben Affleck was a producer and sound engineer. I'm surprised Luna is still around. I gave it 3 years when it came out.

Hey I got an idea. How about UA scrap the atrocious take management methodology and start over. Copy Logic.

click the three dots in the corner of the plugin, and you'll find the option to resize the GUI. Hope this helps, Cheers mate!

Luna can’t even rewind or fast forward in these modern days its very very slow compared to studio one

What about if they add hardware insert, ara and a proper midi editor in luna 2 and its still free?

My thoughts too. Trying to work in Luna has actually made me appreciate Pro Tools even more.
