    DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MAKE THIS PROJEXT AT HOME!!!!
    This video is a recipe for disaster. Firstly, a glass fuel container that is pressurized but not regulated. I think someone mentioned it but you just made a bomb if you get the heater up to temperature and close the valve all the way. Seriously, that’ll get someone hurt or killed. The reason the penny stoves work is because if the pressure gets too high, it pushes vapors past the penny essentially making the penny a regulator. This is an effing bomb waiting to hurt someone.
    Second, the video is so vague that if a person wanted to replicate what you have built, there’s so many things that you didn’t show or explain, so it’s left up to their imaginations.
    To be clear we are talking about pressurized flammable liquids and fire. Ever heard of a BLEVE (boiling liquid expanding vapor explosion). Google it and look at the imagines. I promise you want no part of anything like that. This video is dangerous and wreckless and bound to get someone hurt. Be responsible and remove it. Not that I think you will, I think knew the risks and this is your scam. Put out a video with a title that matches a popular search term. Make the project “pretty” which in this case throws safety out the window. Sit back and let people watch the video, collect your money from UA-cam, and who cares what happens to the people who try to make what you irresponsibly published.

    Ok i get it you drilled a hole in the end cap to fit the outer diametre of the needle valve to act as a primer then you screwed in spray nozzle into the needle valve thanks for showing this god bless

    Te felicito yo construi la de coil y funciona por horas le hice una parrilla y cocine con ella, dejo muy apretada la mecha y no sale el fuego con mucha presión. Pero tu estufa es genial.

    Awesome. So no tiny holes in the copper tube? You heat the tube, pressure increases inside jar and you regulate the pressure with the needle vavle, correct?

      @that_escalated_quickly2720 3 роки тому +9

      Yes that's how it's done... The copper tubing is just there for building up vapors so the pressure of the alcohol gas rises and then you control all of that with the needle valve... It's pretty darn cheap and easy for such a fun and good alcohol stove

    What you called "raw adhesive tape" is not.
    It is ptfe plumbers tape and is NOT adhesive at all

      He screwed the spray nozzle in the needle valve you cant see it because he drilled a hole in the end cap and placed it upside down on the needle valve to function as the primer to heat the copper to the top for it to start up flame for the stove to work

  • @SolarPunk80

    Is there a hole in the copper hoop? If not, I don’t understand what it’s function is, but it must be important? It had wick in it and is receiving direct heat from the flame, but is it helping the flame, even though not attached, by pulling the fluid towards it? I like that this requires less caution compared to other examples were a complete loop of the copper tubing needs to be successfully executed, and this mechanism seems easier to improvise/substitute with other materials, but it depends on how the function of the copper wick relates to feeding the flame beneath, I am still learning!

      simply heating up alcohol wetted cotton so, alcohol vapor faster and build pressure inside the can .

    Enjoy your ingenuity sir. Ive made a couple gas stoves but nothing with brass tubing. I do a lot of hand loading and have a lot of 308 brass. Is it possible to make a stand out of them and they also be the burners? Could use several of them to make a circle to hold a pot/pan.

      I saw a guy using 6 millimetre copper coil and an m6 die to put threads in the copper coil then he used nut and washers to lock and secure it in place he didnt use any adhesive to secure it hope this helps

    pretty sure this is a b0mb, wouldnt the fire just drop in the bottle when you open the valve

    • @ffjsb
      @ffjsb 3 роки тому +3

      Since there's zero oxygen in the bottle, it's impossible for fire to burn inside the bottle. That's why gasoline tanks for filling stations can't ignite, there's no oxygen in the empty space of the tanks, just gasoline vapor, which would need air or oxygen to burn. The vapors are heavier than air too.
      In this case, only the vapors are pushed out of the valve.
