The practice of BIM is gradually expanding far beyond the boundaries of the building. In the past few years, we see more landscape architects, and urban designers transitioning to BIM technology, a shift that’s affecting the entire industry, in a very positive way. As landscape professionals, we play the main role in this expansion, leading our discipline into the world of BIM, and becoming an integral part of the AEC industry.
In this session, a BIM pioneer will share his experiences with how it improved the way architects do their work. How BIM and Digital Practice has expanded to included all project disciplines, allowing them to take advantage of real time data sharing and coordination. And most importantly, what advances have occurred that are helping Landscape Architects get on board and benefit from this digital revolution that is 25 years in the making.
