Hey Nick - another great comparison thanks for sharing😊. Although I am pretty sure the Eaton E1XM came out around 2006 it was reviewed in the WRTH 2007
@@hercsie i researched this radio and it was first introduced at the consumer electronics show in Chicago in 1996. So the technology that created it was far earlier than that obviously. True the first retail in-store models with XM satellite were not until around 2005-ish.
@@dieselten01 Oh that is horrible on the SSB. I already eat my haert out with the R-2000 for not having a BF0 with her 100 Hz steps. I ll scrap the frg7700 of my wish list. Thank You :)

Next belka dx, sony icf 2010 and eton e1xm side by side please.
I agree!
I see you having also a Yeasu frg 7700. Compare it to your Rockwell one day
@@ON5ALE-Alessio Really? The 7700 only tunes to 1khz, nothing finer, no fine tune. SSB is not easy on it. The 7700 is mostly a desktop consumer radio

So it is almost a draw. The E1 was call it a 10 and the 501 a 9.5
@@myradiovideos 9.5????? Really????
