I love your video. Very informative. Loved your thought process on each piece with their unique characteristics. Only thing I would say in future videos about making pieces is "as an artist you need to design your edges". This is what makes this technical artistry so fun to do. Another thing... "As you become more familiar with the medium, the more you can get it to do what you want. 'Planned accidents' " THANK YOU for your videos!!!
This is great!!! Very very helpful!! Love your shirt!! BUT your diamonds need to be cleaned and check your prong tips!!! Thank you for your tutorials!!!
Lisa I can’t remember where I saw this or from whom but it was mentioned you had to be careful of putting food on some of the glass fusing a person creates. Do you know anything about it. By the way I learn so much from you. Thank you.
Yes! I made a video on this subject I will put the link for it here. You can put food on fused glass you just have to make sure it is capped with a clear layer on top. The reasoning is they use certain chemicals to create the different colors of glass and you don't want that to seep into your food. Hope this helps! ua-cam.com/video/36SUUbEDRzg/v-deo.html
Again, I love your work and love your shirts!! But your video and speech were off after about 1/2 through. Not sure if it's you video or my TV, phone, connection. Happy Fall!!
Just stopped the piece I started firing an hour ago after seeing this. How do you add enough frit at edge so it does not pull in? Dam it? All sides or just frit sides. Dam with? TYIA
Love your explanations. As a newbie to fusing your tips are so welcome and helpful. Thank you.
I love the way you explain things. We all have errors, that is the way to learn. you can always do something else with the mistake.
I knew this before but still learned some techniques for edge quality.
I had these problems in some pieces but didn't understand why, so thanks for this easy to understand construction video,
You make it so clear! Thank you.❤️
I always have problems when using frit - I think I have enough on there and the glass pulls in! TFS all these ideas!

Great information !
excellent tips! Thank you!
All your art pieces are beautiful. What kind of kiln do you use?
Most of my kilns are Skutt but I also use evenheat and Denver glass machinery in my studio.

I am not sure why it does that sometimes, I am still trying to get to the bottom of it! Thank you for your feedback :)
Thank you for this very important reminder.
Why did none of my beginning instructors present this important information to me?
Just stopped the piece I started firing an hour ago after seeing this. How do you add enough frit at edge so it does not pull in? Dam it? All sides or just frit sides. Dam with? TYIA
I'd say a damn would help!
