After 20 years of running back and forth to the store buy expensive and short-lived balck and white and color ink-jet cartridges, I bought an Epson ET-2750. Best purchasing decision related to computers I ever made Almost two years of issue-free black and white, and color printing. Wife and I print from two different rooms. As writers, we ending up printing over 7000 pages (two-sided!). This thing is fantastic!
I have two Epson scanners and one printer. When they work they produce impressive results but the software and connectivity issues really makes you wonder if they have any clue what they are doing.
Hey guys, recently I needed to do the head alignment to my printer too, and just like many of you, I had the same problem with it. There were no numbers whatsoever. But what I did after solved it. I think when this happens, we have to do head cleaning first. This is what I did, and when I went back to the head alignment again, the numbers were there, and I was able to align it then. I hope this helps most of you
Thanks Gio. You re a life saver. I have just spend a hole morning printing align patterns and cleaning head and all sort of trying to fix my printer and just wasted my time getting frustrated. I only managed to fix after reading you comment. Thank very much for your help.
I have a ET-3850 and recently had the print blurry in the same place and it was very consistent. Print Head alignment was no help. There is a almost clear band above the cog belt. I am pretty sure its purpose is to sense where the print head (carrier) is during printing. On my printer it had a extremely small piece of what looked like cellophane on it. I very gently wiped it off with my finger. Problem solved.
that's the wrong way to align. you don't simply click the one with the least bands and finish. first off, you will never get a solid block, ever. that's not how the heads work. second, you have to click the one that has the least amount of bands, then click realign. repeat about 3 to 5 times until the block with the least amount of bands appears on "4" as the selection (the default selection). if your selection is 5 or 6 or even 7, it means you're not aligned. they allll have to go to 4, hence the realign button.
Really? Damn, it seems logical - align gradually. but why doesn't the calibration software or manual suggest it? Most of us are not printing technicians, just users. Epson makes great products, but some things end up halfway.
@@johntrev9123 I have an epson L405 and I have the same as yours, first one is 3 and rest are all 4 by default, So do we need to keep on realign until all of them are without bands and then click next? in my case i tried several times but still the first one has some bands and not solid block, then after trying multiple times the printer lost connection and i had to restart it...how to fix this?

Please help, i did a print alignment like it said to do, now i have 1 single line going throu all my prints and the overlapped blocks have u solid line missing from them too. I just got this printer a month ago everything was fine till i did this alignment, its been 3 days and cant figure this out. Im in tears all day, there was nothing wrong to begin with so why the screen told me to run this idk...please someone help me
Trying to do one just now a few times, and all it gives me is multiple pink squares. Not helping! No numbers against them. Used tons of expensive ink to try and find out what is problem, these are rip offs, printer ink is the gold in this activity.
I tried the alignment process but it didn't work. What worked is I change the print quality from the printer properties from "standard to High" and the print out was perfect. 100%✓✓fixed
Well that's wonderful, but not if NONE of the boxes are clear, even after numerous tests .. I've spent all afternoon, cleaning the print heads, doing test after test, alignment after alignment, using nearly all the ink up and STILL it's not clear.. STILL it's printing photos with vertical lines ... I'm giving up before I chuck it up the garden... 😡

It's no wonder i use a stack of papers and still can't get it as it's all over,my first successful alignment was using 4 too.
Does the default have all "4" because mine has 3 on the first block and the rest are 4?

I have issues with the rectangles.... in every option, there is a second line running through the bottom rectangle.
Nonetheless, helpful video.
