A flexi (day) is extra hours worked during the course of a normal working week. If you work seven extra hours then you're entitled to a day off but still get paid for it. Normally applies to government workers.
Swift and Shift is a must watch. I couldn't get into fat pizza, either. Flexi....some jobs let you enter into a flexi time arrangement. When you do overtime, instead of getting paid the overtime rates, you can arrange to take the same amount of time off with pay. BTW....I live in the suburbs of adelaide...a couple of months ago, my mate was reviewing the cctv footage at his house, and there was a kangaroo bouncing up the street. 100% not joking. Not a common thing, but it does happen. lol
