I have an older Galaxy budget tablet and I didn't know half of these things with the tablet I have now. I have been utilizing them now that I've learned all this. LOL If I end up with an upgrade to the S8 I think I'll be good to go. I'm also considering the iPad Air 5 and the smaller iPad Pro. I'm checking out their tips and tricks next. I'll make a decision soon enough. This was very helpful.

@@user-ux3jp9oo7r The S8. I found out Samsung had a trade in deal going on. So, I traded in my budget Galaxy tablet for the S8 and they shaved off a lot of money. They even threw in a pair of the earbuds 2 (no extra cost). The time it couldn't be better because I'd lost my AirPods about 2 weeks before. Also, there was an option for no-interest financing for 36 months! I figured I could take my time, although that was not my original plan. So, I paid it off in 6 months. LOL No issues with the tablet so far.

You didnt mention if simcard can be placed inside. Is it not possible? So that it can have a cellular data rather than trying to connect on wifi all the time? Thanks
There are 2 versions - (WiFi) - (WiFi + 5g) - (WiFi + 5g) has a SIM card slot for cellular data 👍

Under battery and device care.... what is ram plus? What should it be set at?
It's virtual ram, It takes you're internal storage and make it virtual ram.
Great tips and tutorial for beginners. Got a question, do you know how to add a volume rack on the system tray? Or is this feature even available in Tab s8?

So i jst got my s8 tab delivered today and i noticed that the tab heats up very easily. Ive been using it for a minute or so and i can feel the heat on the back.
Is this normal? Is anybody experiencing the same thing?

by mistake the three icons (resent, menu and back) at the bottom of the screen had been move to the right .how do i make it re-center to it's original place
I got the s8 but my major complaint is it's too heavy, especially with the case. I wish the made a 8.4 inch version just like the first tab s.

You should have ended the video after 0:13. After that you were just stating the most obvious things someone who never used a samsung tablet before would even know.
Regardless, helpful none the less. Especially so for those who actually never used a Samsung tab, or just an android in general. (e.g., really old individuals, or youthful first timers, etc.)

I am hearing impaired and use hearing aids. I have been using Apple products and via Bluetooth I receive sound. I have decided to purchase the S8 as a new tablet. One of my KEY needs was a tablet with Bluetooth. For some reason, my new S8 does not connect to my hearing aids. Help

This is a question on the S8 tab. Just got it and its annoying that we have to enter a password every time to use. Two of us using device. I would like to remove all security features so either of us are able to pick it up and have it working with a swipe or taps. It is only used on Wi-Fi. Thanks
1. Go to Security and privacy in the settings
2. Select Lock screen
3. Out of the choices shown: Chose screen lock type > none
4. Prior to that, you need to go to these options by applying the password etc opted earlier.
5. That should enable any one to use the tab with full rights..... No security what so ever..

@@importantmanager4217 yes you can make phone calls, insert nano simcard to SIM SLOT and add contacts to PHONE icon on your tab
SD card cannot be used to store apps.... Poor Sam-China-sung thing to do...
