The die hards still brave ten minute q times but the days of fpp relevance are far behind us and seem destined never to return
I think FPP is a much better game. I used to play regularly back in s3/s4/s5 but the queue times were so long on all servers. Reluctantly I had to go back to TPP and learn to deal with the people standing face up against a wall and able to see round it, AND the silly c**ts rubbing their balls on the floor.

This game is dead FPP was dead long before that. Please play wildrift it much more nuanced. Developers of PUBG are blinded by money. They don't give a shit about the way game is played.
It's crushed. FPP is the best. If pubg had been fpp only from the start it would have been amazing. But the cheaters would have killed the game entirely with x-ray hacks.
Me and my dad stopped playing fpp about a year and a half ago because the n/a servers had 10 minute cue times 😕
Wish they would include FPP missions in the royal pass missions. That would be the easiest way to introduce new players to FPP and help out the ones already playing

@Real Deal it’s not the perspective we want, sure you can just run FPP in a TPP game, but that sets you at a massive disadvantage. We want the game play style. FPP penalizes passive game play, effectively eliminating snaking and camping. It promotes aggressive game play and rewards better players significantly more than TPP by putting more of an emphasis on tactics and gun skill
@@Animesh_Chaturvedi I’m slightly surprised you ran into campers in FPP. Peakers advantage helps in that situation typically, as long as you’re checking corners you’d see them before they see you, giving you a chance to kill them before they even see you on their screen

Season 9& 10 of NA FPP was the BEST time for PUBGM. There was about 500 consistent players every night, we all knew each other and it was as competitive as any other tournament for a regular game. I miss it so much, rip to 2019 fpp PUBGM.

I miss s2 s3 in europe, matches were so enjoyable and everyone just played in a stupid way (i am saying it in a good way) without camping like now, ppl just rushed even if they were noobs, and for me those ppl are better then those so called pro tpp players who snake constantly
Yeah season 8 through season 12. Were good. After that it died completely. Since then I’ve only played maybe 2 matches on fpp mode.

Not on EU server. Squads have only few seconds of waiting time. This season is much better for FPP. Many people try to push conq. in FPP. So wee have much more fun in FPP now.
This video is so relatable. I cannot convey how frustrating playing FPP on NA server has been. It has been ruined by a certain gaming community, I'd not like to name. There are hackers in every single match. It's literally hacker vs hacker.
I wish FPP gets the chance to be on tournaments (Again), I laugh every time I watch PUBGMs competitive match.

It takes time to get into FPP match, and when you do get in, you face a cheater. And like you said, it’s still possible to kill esp cheaters in TPP, but it’s significantly harder in FPP.
I only played FPP in the beginning. Then games would take longer and longer to get into. Each patch there would be shorter que times for a week then back to not being able to find a game. So now I only play TPP. It's really sad that gamers prefer the easier route these days, and how is cheating fun?

I have to wait more than 5 minutes on Platinum or above and I don't even get to play on my country's server (though we have dedicated server) and have to play against 40 ms guys while my ping is 140 ms

@@umairhasan8671 I got back into pubg after a year, I was in crown 1 fpp back in 2018, lord the waiting times were insane,15min+ for each game, but I still braved through it cuz loved fpp to death. But now it's just pointless, full of hackers. Pains me to see the real skill mode die out just cuz mobile gamers are bunch of wuss loving the easy way out. Hate seeing idiots taking tpp all the time and rubbing their hairy b*lls on the floor and grass all day, fking noobs.

Tryed that the other day. Took 14 minutes NA middle day around 4pm-6pm busy parts or the day only took 13 minutes to get into a match. Pathetic tbh, fpp is much better just sad because people don't play it

I understand that this game has to have fpp and tpp, but I can't say that I would'nt wish this was a fpp game only. It's so much dynamic, skillful and fun. But, for people, the easier it is, the best for them.

Eu server solo FPP, u can't find matches at the last 2-3 weeks of a season (and I do not mean 20mins searching...I mean 20hrs searching /day :"") ) duo almost the same, squad just 10-20 mins.

Same in Asia. The first day of new season you can even play miramar or sanhok. Vikendi never works unless you play squads. During the last 3 weeks of the season matchmaking in erangel itself is hard over 10 mins
I've always played in tpp, but I started pushing in fpp solo to get conqueror. To be honest, it feels harder to play in general, but its more interesting to play since you can't really know how ennemies see you and you have to think/act in a realistic way

They need to find a way to bring this bacc from the grave cause it was my mode back then maybe an FPP only event? Obviously fixing the hackers will help but clearly Tencent doesn’t want to either implement a device ban or two-factor authentication but maybe if we get enough players on FPP to balance the good player to hacker ratio it’ll be a little more enjoyable.

@@ishechinyoka3858 honesty most people liked tpp more even when the tournaments had fpp in them. when i played in s2 every single one of my friends played tpp, maybe 3-4 out of 150 people on my friends list played tpp. i mean you could say that i only played tpp and the people that i got matched with also played tpp so that would be the reason i had people who played tpp and that's true but in every single clan i joined most people prefered tpp

When I started playing PUBG back in season 4 or 5 as an older guy without any gaming experience I wanted to learn the game, I found your channel and subed. Watching you inspired me to learn/play fpp and I enjoyed it. Then the hacking started getting worse and so back to tpp.

First of all thank you Bushka for having always promoted FPP. I absolutely loved the game (and hated TPP with a passion). In hindsight, I think Seasons 13/14 were the nail in the coffin, with cheaters emerging in every single game. All because of the small player pool: teamers are guaranteed to get into the same match, and hackers who do it for the Conqueror title only have to reach Ace to instantly get it. There's just not enough players and the developers couldn't care less. Also, the Video Review system is an absolute joke. Still only 1 in 4 reviewed cheaters gets banned, despite all the evidence. It's demoralizing...
Your call of season 13/14 is exactly correct, I went from easily obtaining ace ever season to barely being able to crawl into crown because of how many cheaters there were.
Maybe if the developers make some slight changes to the FPP people might enjoy it. I think the one thing that needs to change the most is the gun play animation. I always love watching PUBG pc FPP game plays especially Shroud or TGLTN or Kaymind. But when I play FPP on mobile, it just doesn't feel right. It doesn't have the feeling and the gun play animation of the PC version. It feels weird. For instance there is a scope in animation when you zoom in but no scope out animation when you zoom out. The movement is a bit faster in the mobile and not as smooth as the PC version and all sorts of other little details. It's just sad.
Field of view is zoomed in for a mobile phone it's not optimised, you won't get the same feeling when u play FPP In COD
@@slimshady7625 humans have a 120° field of vision while pubgm gives you up to I think 109° things like COD are normally like 80-90° are far more narrow line of site making it less realistic.
There also Is no movement physics like slowing down before walking left while walking right.. it's just an unfinished game And the devs milk it
@@Rurik_Luci where did you get those numbers from for pubg and cod l,what I meant to say is it's not comfortable to play on 6" phone compared to an ipad or monitor realism is fine but they have to consider what one is playing on
FPP mode should be exactly like PC, guns on the ground doesn't have rounds in them. You have to find the gun take the bullets up and then load the gun. Reloading have to be done by the player and not automated by the game. Take away the hit markers and use blood splatter to determine headshots. Only thing I wouldn't like brought over is the zeroing of the scope, as PC obviously has an entire keyboard for more things. But make it a realistic game in FPP. Also if the Q is any longer than 2 minutes, simply add in bots and make the bots more aggressive and harder to kill. You can't third person peek in FPP to determine if its a bot or not, so you have to play as everyone is a real player. This way FPP players can still get their games and it isn't an easy walk over. FPP would continue to be a thing if the waiting Qs aren't as long. Simply add bots in to fill the game after 2 minute wait.
We really need to ban the phone numbers of the hackers, so they will never be able to make another account with it.
Edit: okay if that doesn’t work can they sue cheaters for ruining their game?

It’s all lip service, Pubg Mobile and Tencent have never ever cared about “fair play”, they literally only care about revenue and hackers spend money. If they ever really cracked down on hacking, the games would be filled with bots and revenue would be halved. Sad thing, it just gets worse from here
Every couple games, I switch it up and play in FPP mode in TPP matches. Puts me at a huge disadvantage, but it feels a lot less scummy.

The thing that i hate fpp for now is... Fpp weapon/hand viewmodel is too close to the camera, soo its hard to look around, not like old fpp... U can see the differents old fpp vs new fpp (updated on season 6 i think), old fpp perspective more wider than new😭

I'm consistently switching into fpp during tpp match's... When on the back of buggy's, driving the motor bike, almost always while moving room to room indoors and upstairs... Whenever a close encounter pops up in open terrain. Also when my back is up against a building. I've found myself toggling to fpp more and more...
Yup same story. Played only FPp when I first got into the game. Now I have to abuse third party peeking to reach conqueror simply because there’s nothing else.

Man, I completely agree with all of this. FPP truly is just lobbies for hackers who are bad at the game but want to easily get a conquerer frame. I too have waited 5 minutes for a match only to be killed by hackers as soon as I drop. I won't ever play it again.
I'm sure it's more than just monetization because many fpp games have had great gunskins and stuff and them failing to stop hackers from the very beginning even after years from its initial launch
FPP feels great, at least in TDM. Try it and maybe you can observe that your reaction time has improved because it feels super immersive. If there was a option, I would choose random(FPP/TPP) as an option to enter TDM.

Hey Bushka, the solution to get ppl to play fpp is rather simple - have a special “epic” memorabilia which is available only when you get to crown/ace/conq in both modes - special m416 skin for example or a parachute.
I’m in 2024 trying my absolute hardest to enjoy the game while playing fpp against tpp. It’s way harder because tpp users have a third damn eye and I’m here relying playing and feeling stupid. Tpp is so lame and there’s even csgo and team death match type modes and you can’t go fpp. I don’t get why it’s awful and it frustrates me that Pubg does not allow me to play that way. There’s to many god damn modes that so many people don’t even play. There should be rewards for playing fpp and make it appeal more so that more players could play it. At this point it doesn’t have to be ranked let me just play with players that have the skill to play fpp.

I loved fpp cuz I was so successful at it. In fpp it comes down to actual skill alot of the time. And in tpp I get killed by snakes and campers which doesn't take much skill at all.

It’s the version I started playing but now because I play with three others we now play TPP. I liked you actually had to look out a window and none of this looking round corners that to begin with thought was so crap. I’ve accepted that TPP is enough fun even with hackers.

An Ode to FPP. Sometimes I had waited nearly 10min to get into a solo fpp lobby. This is so sad.
I feel bad and sorry.. . played multiple seasons on FPP with my squad, tried to convince others, supported every FPP content creators like you Bushka. Now no old FPP friends nor FPP lobby. Takes around 7-8min to match in a lobby. But always a part of that small diminished FPP community. I love playing FPP but the players in there are so less and it take so long to start a match..sometimes 5 minutes waiting
Things that I would LOVE to be in the next update or season:
- FPP arcade mode
- Unranked classic
- Replay feature
- Hardcore mode
they should remove option of map selection from ranked mode and force every player to play every map. i am tired of playing erangle but every time i play other map i can't get randoms that speak my language and i get matched into arab lobbies with 200+ ping with heavy desync.
I used to play 1000 games of fpp every season until season 6. And then they removed it from competitive completely and because i was a semi-pro player i had to practise on what i needed and the q time us brutal and now in the last 5 seasons i have played total of maybe 10 matches. And i miss it.

I miss playing FPP, but the queues are insane even at Gold recently, I grinded FPP Season 5 - 7 and it wasn't until I hit diamond I would get long queue times and that's really what killed it for me.
I was pushing rank in fpp and I was waiting for a match to start but it takes 2 hours
This will bite PUBG in the ass when Apex Mobile releases because, even though I love PUBG Mobile I will have no trouble transitioning to a BR that can handle FPP
