Shot the Hoodoo event here in Oregon. Was swarmed and attacked by the mosquitos all day and night, so you know how you must have felt! So cool to see you acknowledge and visit with the young kids. Like it or not you guys are role models for the kids, and setting great examples I might add! Keep it up!
@@andrewsha4843 there are 3-d shoots all over Oregon just about every weekend. The event at Hoodoo is one leg of the Northwest Mountain Challenge, you can search that. Your local archery club or pro shop should be able to give you information on shoots. Also search Oregon archery shoot card.
You could have train to become right eye dominant. I've done that 6 years ago, and with no more training for 3 years, I'm still right eye dominant today (after about 40y of left eye dominant !) Neuroplasticity 😉
Awesome vid fellas. I love whatever it is yall done different with the microphone. Sounded like u had the mike right to ur mouth but u didnt. Lookin super forward to the alaska hunts. Them are my absolute dream hunts. God bless gentlemen!!!
i'm right handed and left eye dominant. i was shooting wrong forever. but i taught myself to shoot with my right eye. i can shoot a bow left or right handed, same with rifles. only thing i can't shoot both hands are pistols.
Just discovered your channel. Awesome, down to Earth content. Really appreciate it. Learning heaps. Thanks from New Zealand. PS: here in NZ we shoot those mosquitoes for a warm up. 😂
Aways GREAT watching you guys!!! Bmack you are KILLING your shoulder the way you draw!! I want to see you keep shooting? but your shoulder is GOING to get hurt drawing into your cheast even at 60lbs Other than bugs looks like you guys KILLED the course!!!
I am also left eye dominant and right handed. I do shoot a right handed bow though. Never tried to pull a bow back left handed and not sure if I could. Probably going to get an accubow and practice lefty so that i can get a left handed bow and use my dominant eye to shoot.
hey there an archery shoot out here to every year at sunrise resort so look into that its the 3D one but love the video you guys and cant wait for more vidoes #gethushin💯🔥🏹
Man, all in all you guys did great. IMO, those long truly non- hunting shots are almost useless. They are for fun but will show the smallest flaw in form and shot execution. I did the San Antonio TAC and while it was “ fun?” I won’t waste my time and $ again. IMO, it has very little to do with practicing for real hunting situations. Who shoots at a deer at 60-70-80+ yards? I am amazed at the high number of people that attend these events. I hope everyone of them has enjoyed the heck out of it for them. 👍👍
Awesome video! Almost hard to watch with all those dang mosquitoes!!! Just used your code for my ohlin setup, thanks for the savings, and I hope you enjoy the affiliate $!!
As for shoot placement you play the score game or the hunting game!! We call it be for we shoot 3D kill or points? Not sure whats worst the bugs around your face or lossing an arrow!!!! Didn't know about the shooting part of Erick NICE shooting I tried left handed once NOT FOR ME!!!
I too am left eye dominant. However I shoot right handed. I've overcome this by wearing a patch over my left eye. People look at me a little weird when I'm on the range, especially when I lift the patch and wink at them.😂 I've been ambidextrous my whole life whatever I can do right handed I can do left handed except shoot my bow or my guns. Kind of weird but I make it work.
Have you ever shot a lefty bow? I bet it would feel awkward but you’d be able to see just how much better it is to focus and view through your peep sight.
@@gethushin I have and it's just awkward. After 35 years of doing it right handed and filling tags year after year. I'm not trying to change this late in life. The eye patch allows me to keep both eyes open and my right eye seems to just take over.
Eric, why is your UV slider scope upside down?? Never seen that before. I am sure there is logic to it. Can you please explain. I have a UV slider as well, but put the 3-pin vertical scope in it. My spread is 20, 35, 50.
Well shoot im left eye dominate but right handed. I've just trained myself to shoot right handed with the help of a eye patch for the first year. But hear i am year 4-5 and just realizing a left handed bow might be better. And ive never tried one either. And the last couple seasons ive missed some nice bucks. Because ill get real blurry when trying to focus my right eye. Never even considered a lefty bow till this video 🧐

Appreciate that!! Archery + Mosquitos = challenge
We have an event in Oregon? I’m still new to bows and didn’t know we had an event in Oregon.
I used to live in sisters too.. my wife’s from then and she never told me about this.

Love the TAC videos and breakdowns. Definitely on my list to do some of these. Thanks Hushin crew!
Our pleasure!
2024! I can't to see your hunts. Let' Go!
I am with you, right handed, but left eye dominant and I chose to train myself to shoot a left handed bow.

Great vid. Can't wait to watch everyone this fall season.👊
Season is coming quick, we’re looking forward to it!
Your dominant eye is the one everyone should use especially in archery. It’s a huge advantage. There are several ways to determine that.
Let's go! I need to get to one of those courses someday
Defiantly won’t be disappointed
Great video! I subscribed!

These things look like so much fun.
I’ve always wanted to do a target range like that. Good shots too!
You should! It’s such a blast and great practice
@@gethushin it’s also my dream to kill a huge 6x6 bull with my bow too!
Great video! Really liked the different angle shots on the arrows hitting OR missing the target lol and yes, doming the drone would have been awesome.
Glad you enjoyed!
Man I’d love to shoot a TAC event next year. It seems incredibly fun. Love y’all’s videos.
I am left eye dominant also I had to learn to shoot left also

are you a shift worker? lol middle of the night shopping and watching UA-cam
Oh I know the struggle of shooting lefty. Everything right handed except shooting.
Ware you going for caribou in Alaska? If far up north there are some nice ones

Y'all definitely need a Bow Hitch!!! Save them shoulders by not carrying your bow! Hands free joy on the 3d course.. #carrying your bow sux....

Bc it’s left handed. They just flip the scope up side down for LH
You guys need thermacells!
B-MAC I have that shirt. I was wondering is that the Wyoming bull you arrowed?

Have you guys ever heard of this product called bug spray? I heard it's a must on the range....
Definitely dropped the ball not having bug spray!
use mint oil for mosquito replantt]
how much it cost to shoot this course when it comes back up
I’m the same as Eric I am left eye dominated
okay I just did this and im left eye dominant but shoot right handed....but now im scared im living life wrong
Why wouldn't you both be carrying a thermacell? You both have backpacks...
Personally I just spray my clothes with permethrin at least it keeps the ticks off as well
Question…Do you have normal ball caps for sale😆
What’s your definition of normal?
@@gethushin Valid. From the era of folding bill and stuffing it in back pocket.
Eric just shoot right handed and keep both eyes open.
It just doesn’t work like that… I see double vision.
@@gethushin so do I. I just use the pins on the right.🎯🎯
Sixty nine
Target 15 is a roedeer buck my brother 😂 That‘s a european animal, not african 😂
100 or 125 grain head would probaly flatten that out enough you would be in the foam instead of trees lol heavy arrows suck hahahha
😂 probably right…
You guys gonna be there next year I didn’t get to go this year so am going next year
We usually shoot the course at least one time.
How do you clowns not bring bug spray?...lol
