Just found this channel from the previous video. Imo, the on-camera flash with ak-diffuser offered better diffusion but the versatility off-camera flash offered better positioning and compositions. I imagine the latter can still improve with a better diffuser, but the current results are already beautiful. Yeah, I always wear sleeves when taking photos of insects due to mosquitoes, especially being in the tropics.
Thank you very much! I do shoot manually and my settings are always 1/200, f11, iso 100, and then I change the strength of flash depending on the natural lighting.
@@jakesmacronature well you have inspired me to do try macro photography. I sold my a7r classic and got the Sony a7rv and picking up my Sony 90mm macro lens today. Thank you for the responses.
@@jakesmacronature if you don’t mind me asking. By turning the aperture up that high you are letting little light in but when I do that I have a hard time seeing the subject on the screen. Is that normal? As always I really appreciated your time.
@thatcali_dronelife87 are you using a flash? If you don't have a flash on then you won't be able to see since it's too dark. If you do have a flash on your camera and it's still dark then there must be some sort of setting on your camera interfering.
omg the butterfly's wigs, stunning
Butterfly wings in macro are so cool!
My favorite macro photo was the yellow flies on top of the eachother😄
Haha that was a good one
another great video, your photos are never boring, and I love the different aspects/angles you use to make your photos so interesting!!
Thank you very much! I'm glad you are enjoying them.
It was so fun watching! Keep Up :)
Thank you for watching and I will!
