If anything I supply those 'good finds' when I donate my own stuff. I do think she managed to find some nice pieces though. Love the neutral gingham skirt and the blue cardigan.

If you want to get an idea of pants/skirts will fit when you forget your measuring tape, try the neck test. If both ends of the waist fit around your neck and touch without a gap, it means they’ll probably fit. I was skeptical at first, but it usually works for me.
I didn’t know what the new trends were Alexa but they are kind of funny because they are basically: fashionable Big Bird (feathers, super puffy maxi skirts, jumpsuits and cutout trains) 😂 (you didn’t pick pieces that looked like Big bird though, so don’t worry hahaha

A miniature sewing(flexible) measuring tape on a keychain was the best purchase I ever made for thrifting. I found mine at a dollar store with the sewing supplies, it's about 1 & 1/2 inches long, light weight plastic so it isn't clunky like a hardware store version.

Watching these videos make me so jealous because American thrift stores look so good! There’s so many nice things in this video, it’s really hard to find things I like at the thrift stores here. Most second hand shops in my city are really small, like boutique size and they mostly have middle age/older women style clothes. My mum and gran find lots of clothes they like there. There’s only one big thrift store in my city and it’s a $2 warehouse. Everything (except a small section of higher priced items) is $2 which is really good but it also means there’s a lot of low quality clothes. Most of the clothes are old and worn or stained and just not in very good condition. It’s also just in a random warehouse which gets very cold in winter. They like absolutely pack the racks with clothes so it’s hard to look through them and they use these metal hangers that make your hands really dirty from going through them. Last time I went I left black hands and two broken nails. I got a few nice clothes for very cheap but the shopping experience wasn’t very nice and I had to look through a lot of clothes to find anything I liked. A,Eric’s thrift stores seem so nice in comparison. So many cute clothes!
