- In todays action figure unboxing and review we will be having a look at the brand new Mezco One 12 Spiderman Action figure from Mezco Toyz - this is a general release at 120 dollars shipping from retailers now!

I just got my copy the other day from BBTS and I've already been aware of these QC issues. Took a brief look to see if my masks were messed up but I'll do a deep dive later. I wish Mezco cared about their quality. I will I've had a problem when I got Slugfest and it was missing an actual hand that they eventually got me a replacement, but it shouldn't be the norm.
I hope your spidey is clean headed on all faces! And yeah I agree - it sucks its like this these days, I don't mind the big heads or the sylized looks - I always liked that but damn, the quality has been a major problem the last year or two - like they went from producing no figures in covid times and then tried to catch up after and just overworked it maybe - you would think with all they bank they are making they would do better, but I guess if people just keep supporting they will just be same ol same ol - and its really a predicament for me because I love mezco, they are my most favorite figures but man, the quality and the customer service just makes me want to stop half the time
@@toy.blocks Actually looked at it closely and the the squinting eyes on the body has the tiniest of tiniest mistakes at the center where the nose meets and I'm not even sure if it's big enough of deal for me to care.
I appreciate the honest review we need more of them. That Frankenstein stitching is unacceptable man that's a deal breaker for me. But I love your vibe Bro keep up the good work and that intro alone is worth a sub so keep it up.
thank you for the kind words of encouragement - mezco just hit me back tonight so i might get some new heads that was my major issue -- but yeah the stitching, crazy cuz I see customizers doing cleaner stitching alot of the time these days, people just leveling up i guess lol
Really like your channel, and your honest reviews! I'm still waiting for mine to show up, and hoping for the best. I've had my share of QC issues myself with Mezco. I've started getting into more 3rd party 1/12 figures, and the quality is amazing.
man I agree - the 3rd party companies are really showing what can be done in the 1:12 scale medium finally - 1:6 figure always had amazing 3rd party stuff, but this new stuff were getting from people like LimToys with the Last of Us figures, or Nottaa Studio with that 3 pack (or the singles, wukong and the others, I cant recall the exact names) they are just amazing - I love mezco so much I hope something changes and people start to see more time invested in quality, because I love the figures - the CS and people in charge should be doing more. Cool, I'll check out those other companies. I have the The Clown (Dark Knight Joker) from Felix Toys, and the Top Agent (James Bond) by Muff Toys. Both outstanding figures. I'm stopping pre-ordering Mezco figures now, as you never know about the quality, or if they will give you a different figure lol (1989 Batman/Zack Snyder's Justice League Batman). Better to see a review, the purchase.@@toy.blocks

I picked mine up from comics and cocktails in the uk. I have not had any of these issues with mine so I’ll consider myself lucky. Aside from the light up head which I have’nt tried yet. I realy dig the retro look of this figure so Im well pleased.
with a name like comics and cocktails i would expect nothing but the absolute finest, no expense spared! I do love the bright colors and the style also my brotha, and good news - MEZCO hit me back tonight and asked for my order info - I assume they will replace these messed up heads - I will make a short to keep the people posted if they do!! I just bought a it 2 days ago, and when I unboxed it, the first thing I noticed was that the fabric part sewn behind the waist was misaligned. The leather outfit was cracked and torn into small pieces, and the glasses in the accessory box were easily breakable. Previous owners of this product told me that they also experienced serious defects during use... even when they just left it standing without posing, it would still get damaged in the future.

Damn bro, mezco are being real clumsy these days, I rather buy from 3rd party . And customer service with neca and mezco are absolutely horrible
they emailed me back just tonight so maybe they send some new heads -- i will keep the people updated!!

I have this figur,e, still in box. Im affraid of posing him, because of the wrinkles at the shoulders. Should I be worried? What about 5 years from now? What do you think about the wrinkles at the shoulders? I dont know if I should sell this of not because of the wrinkles.
the original Spiderman from Mezco came out in 2018 and I have played with that and posed it around a decent bit for pictures and i always put it back in a vanilla stand -- no rips or anything wrong with the shoulders on that one
Until they start sending YOU free stuff to review....good honest review. Think I'll buy but try to haggle a great deal out if someone!
I wish mezco wouldn’t do cloth anymore. It would look so much better if it was only plastic. The cloth material is also cheap. It will deteriorate over time.
You know, I got mine I kind of want to do a review of it but everyone else did but a part of me will always remember that we waited years for this and it was kind of a disappointment
i recently picked up the spider ghost gwen figure from mezco and itses a soft phisen style body with a metal skeleton, but its 100% better then the 89 batman, and becasuse of the soft body the possibility is amazing - i think Mezco will drop another spiderman soon with a similar build

I think mine has an issue with the left leg up to a point it is super loose
thats a common thing with this guy his one leg just feels crazy loose when you lift it up

@rustyshackelford5892 nah the next one will be exactly he same from what I understand - does yours like flop around when u move the figure?
@toy.blocks it does at certain angles and feels like it's going to break when trying to put him in the splits I might try to apply some heat but idk lol 😂
