I STILL love my 1130!!! And I just bought another Bernina in order to teach kids how to sew. I wanted them to have only the BEST machines as they learn. I'll look forward to that mind-control version - ha! That's exactly what I need to get all those projects in my head actually done.
Dear Threadhead TV, thank you for putting so much trust in our brand and for passing your love of sewing and BERNINA on to kids. Only 25 more years, and we will have the mind-controlled machine ready! :-) Kind regards from Switzerland
I am a big Bernina fan! I have 3 of them. My newest baby is the 790B and it’s awesome! The BSR is the best thing in quilting. The only problem that I have is trying to find a Bernina dealer to help cleaning and adjustments that it needs or if you want a foot. Where I live there are no Bernina dealers in my state, so I have to travel almost a 100 miles to get my machines serviced. I just wish that they would offer a online service to order parts or feet, 😭, but I’ll still do what I have to do for my babies!❤️
Dear nancy, thank you for sewing with BERNINA and for speaking so kindly about us! Here is a link to a video that shows how to clean and oil your B 790: ua-cam.com/video/RcXvSbFsejY/v-deo.html.
I love my 1130s too. So many of us love these Bernina vintage models and earlier. I just wish there was more information on the Bernina sergers from the 90s to 2000s. I'm struggling to find any information before the 700D, why is that? I know their information wouldn't be digital from that era but neither was the 1530 and before and there are still images.
Hi Jacky, thanks for your comment. You can still find information on the 700D overlocker/serger at www.bernina.com/en-US/Machines-US/Overlocker/Serger/BERNINA-700D . The manual can be downloaded from www.bernina.com/Bernina/media/Support/Overlocker_Serger/700D/Documents/EN/Instruction-Manual-700D_800DL_EN_DE_FR_E.pdf .
I am sooooooooooooooo disappointed I bought the L450 Overlock this November and it’s impossible to work with. The knives are just unusable. I have to change it once in two weeks!!!! I have already received two additional knives from a local Bernina dealer and unfortunately it’s the same story all over again. It is just outrages!!!!!!! The question is, would Bernina going to take responsibility or is it just money thrown away
Dear Astrelas, we are sorry to hear that your L 450 is causing you so much trouble. If your dealer cannot put the machine into working condition, please have him contact the central BERNINA sales company in your country that will provide technical support. If necessary, you can also contact this company directly. You can find the contact details on our website at www.bernina.com/contact.

Thank you! We hope you enjoyed the trip down BERNINA's memory lane. Kind regards from Switzerland

Maybe you need to open a Bernina shop! :)

Oh I forgot something, we did have a Bernina dealer here, but they retired and clothed the store. I bought my 790 three weeks before they closed.
Lol!! I love 2118! Shakespeare recited by a Bernina. That sounds awesome. Not to mention Keith Richards bday. Lol
Hi MillieD, thanks! We had fun producing the video :-)
