I am also played on a EU German Server where a millionaire pushed many chars above the 5K resonance. He was very social. Played with free2play players and always communicated how important free2play players are for the game. He also organized weekly PvP challenges where the winner out of a reso braked could win 50 € BattleNet credit balance.
All high Reso Player inside the alliance helped low spenders / free2play break through the next world tier level like Hell 8 or inferno 1 - 3. Also very social.
I wouldn’t agree that high reso players don’t want to play with free2play players.

That’s exactly true. Without whales the game might’ve shutdown because if they were not spenders on this game then how Blizzard coulda afford to pay developers to make the game better or improving the game by releasing new modes new cosmetics and etc.
This is not always about gaming sometimes we have to think this outside the box that all this services cost money and business is involved

im always against that motto "game would shutdown without whales ". whales killed this game because low and mid spenders left game or they dont spend anymore like me because you cant compete with that overrich whales because not worth even you have 5k-6k reso you still like 1k reso to them. Game devs wanted one time cash grab from rich people make profit and leave game with bugs. whereas they would make more profit if they had continuous income from low-budget players.
So what were companies doing before all the monetization?
There are many games who are f2p friendly that still does very well,blizzard is one of the most greedy devs because the gaps between f2p and whales are always so huge compared to other games

Thanks echo for the content u create. I still like the game and the f2p elements. I also like the game graphics, the monthly different challenges, and the updates that Blizzard puts in on a regular 3 month basis. I hope Blizzard will add more regions, dungeons, end bosses, and story modes to add lore and content to the overall game. As long as that continues, I will keep playing the game.
Fascinating... Well, i, for one, have joined the Iceburn tear although i'm originally from The Ancients on EU... True, i have full character roster on the Ancients but when i chose Iceburn tear, those characters on EU server are staying on the same level since...

I'm on rat king, I belive we have one of the most active servers, with multiple clans migrating over. I believe we have around 18 9ks here alone.
Greetings from Greece. Well about account sharing. Me and my wife both play on EU server and she is the Clan leader of a casual clan. but sometimes on shadow war, raid the vault or assembly, she cant participate cause she is at work. so i log in to her account to do the events so she doesnt miss the rewards. i dont think that should be bannable.

Esport was in the game when it first started I was in the clan with them but after the first immortal reign they all left
The free to play concept needs to go away actually, it's the problem.
See back in the day everyone paid the same to play, you bought a monthly subscription for between $10 to $30.
Do I never have bought that whales pay for the game argument because that's a problem the game maker made for themselves to entice more players.
Subscription based with no micro transactions needs to come back, because that's a fair game and if you come out in top, it's because you are a great player not because you have more money than everyone else.

I am f2p, except for battle pass! I don't make enough to spend a lot, but can justify 15 bucks.
Hate shadows. Hate the daily for bartender Bailey and I hate the daily bgs as I don't have time to complete it since I am not on during it's time frames so it's a daily that doesn't get done. The immortal dailys I can complete fast and easy and I'd prefer them over shadow dailys. So, to each their own apparently. I'd rather the extra tab at the hilts trader be there permanently 😂. I also hate having to stand for blessings for 10 damn minutes a day it's a fucking hassle to be a shadow if u ask me.

My clan has a few whales and they organize low spender and whale competitions in the towers so we can all get a taste of the battles the game has.
I always said a somewhat Free To Play server, but not F2P. It's more of a subscription based server for like a few bucks. Where everything is obtained ingame through playing no spending what so ever minus cosmetics. Even battle pass should be disabled on a subscription server.

Naggie was on our server, we are 2nd clan on that server, we have an agreement to rotate every 2/4 weeks, unless we get back stabbed, but there was no clan dominating over 4 weeks on our server for the past 7 months he just got kicked out from his OG clan thats what the World Chat says.... He was in Europe probably on Ghabart the agrate
His clan was BLTG.... Sh** clan a lot off inactive players, they barley had 35 players online for Shadow War, and they never ever were Immortals.... He talk bs

Don't have problem with Whales because I go full on PVE. If I have the items to kill Boss it good for me.
The stuff that I pointed out all cleans do it the majority of them By the time players realize IT IT's too late And the damage is already done

I kinda belive that blizzed should think about adding new thing to this game we should have pets and mounts just like other rgps maybe add pet battles. I really do enjoy this game just gets boring doing the same quest and battles over and over unless your farming for stuff.
I believe the crew that left your server, has come to mine, they're definitely here to compete. I can totally understand their desire to compete. Without a good competition, the game becomes boring, for both none-spenders and Whales.

"Without a good competition"....but when the whales then rule your server and do nothing but just hand it off between 6 clans (3 and 3 alliances) then were is it "fun" for anyone else outside them?
im 10 minutes in, feels like some whale buttered echo up. Idgaf about whales, its when the whales buy used accounts and give it to other players, siphoning players from different server. And this 100% affects netease revenue.
The way I see it…after every Immortal reign, there’s always a huge shake up in the clans etc etc. it never fails, and always happens. Now it seems, instead of the shake up happening within the server, it has moved onward and upward to full on mass sever transfers. Instead of new clans forming and people switching clans, people are just hunting for a whole new server and group of players to play with OUTSIDE their current server.
our server, 6 clans are just swapping back and forth the reigns for the new cloak...unless someone hits the lottery on our server that's in a shadow clan, we are now permanently stuck with these 6 clans reigning supreme at all times. Guess my money (and other shadows) spent means nothing to blizzard

3.2k reso 3rd wings, a year to get haven't spent more 500/600$ thats thr avg of 36$ a month and im not a whale.... Just calculating everything properly, never upgraded a gem i never needed, never missed Mondays Dust Reset, Events, and Shaow War.....
Whales are the minority..... Our server has only 10/20 people with 7,000+
So stop talking crap, you can max it out with less money but more time spend in game... Everyone can go far if they are dedicated, paying money is an option.... Especially with the worth buying bundles that gives 30/40/45 crests.... Buying 7200 points to buy premium crests is notbthe way to go unless you do it for platinum and trade gems to the ones you need
Mate at 3k you're not even approaching anything you're in the same league as 90% of the players. Everyone knows that at the higher resonance is where the money takes over. If you think you would spend another 500 to 6k you're a complete fool that has no clue about the game

f2p gamers also contributes a lot that's why blizzard somewhat support f2p even for a little bit. Because they need numbers to keep the community active and also to make the spenders happy.
Oceanic only has three servers and the population is very low now. BG's can take over 15 minutes now. There is no ability to transfer to a non Oceanic server as well. Not very well thought out. At this rate things will be dead within a year in Oceanic.
Blizard doesn't want to face the law of diminishing returns that's why it is what it is
I play with friends and play Solo because I'm sick of greedy people I grinding bye my self because evertime I join clans I get used and disrespected people Steeling loot from me its bin really hard to get set up but I'm making it work the people I keep joining get set up than use me than sell all the stuff I helped get set up if I see people do it I remove them off my friends list so I know how to play the game I have A deep understanding of the mechanics of the game so I'm able to take advantage of it bye my self The problem was clans on diablo that Convince you to join use you until The end until you find out what's really going on Then they dump you they don't help you out so now I play with friends that play like me I hate PvP Griefers And the goblin players that like to go in lobby's and take the good loot then after they leave its hard for me to believe in players they are Liars to me nowadays because Because they can't keep the word
Yup. Regardless of whale or f2p as long as you enjoy the game its enough. Whale and f2p has an economic part of the game.
example f2p grind the normal gems, whale buys them. Imagine no whale, no one will buy your normal gem at high price, who do think sell the low price 5star gem? Lol.

I’m gonna be honest here. I’ve been playing Diablo since the first came out. I was extremely anti Diablo immortal as I was worried it would affect d4. But I do genuinely love Diablo 4 and think most people hating on it are stupid. But I’ve recently started playing immortal purely because I love the franchise and after giving it a few hours I love being able to turn it on when I’m not at home to get my fix. But this kind of stuff is just stupid. I’ve seen enough to know I will never touch pvp because even at most I won’t buy anything but a battle pass. And I’d argue most people would agree with me. No point in touching pvp in a game where $ runs the show.
I don't really know what no p2w new game modes u are talking about. Every single new game mode introduced has advantages for spenders. Even wild brawl is p2w

WoW survives on a 15-16$ sub fee with a far larger production budget, The Whales in Diablo Immortal are not paying for the game to stay running with content updates, The whales are paying for the top Blizzard execs to fuel there yachts.
It's insane the idea that this game would not have the exact same content and update schedule if everyone was just paying 10$ a month which is essentially what is happening anyways with the battle pass and boon purchase (its basically a 20$ a month sub.... which makes it more expensive than WoW thats far more expensive to run and produce for).
We have a couple of 110-130k spender in my clan, Im not grateful to them for being whales who bank roll the game, im grateful to them for being good buddies who we play with everyday. Because the money they spend does not go to the game, its going to other blizzard projects at best and in the CEO's pockets at worse.
Why not create server exclusive for the whales. Or make server change free.
Maybe Diablo can set up servers for whales. If they do, who will buy your gems? Can't blame Blizzard for wanting to make money. But needs to be someway to make the game more fun for those that spend less than 200 a year.

100 crests guarantee 2 5*... And i got 16 out of 100... You go 3 crests per run and dont invite anyone do that solo
24:50 yeah because they would not have money if there is no whales,they would go broke.... yeah... just to be clear I said it on last video i spend about between 30 and 50 euros a month. most of it goes to cometics and one part goes to bp,BoP ... i dont have anything bad to say about ones who spend a lot. one of my favorite games will be closed soon i spent some money on it and i dont regret. i made my heroes on at lesat on 2 - 3 legendary stars and some on golden status. whales are ok. i know i cant beat them. i`m in one of strongest clan on dark wonderer server so its ok. people if you want to spend your money that you work hard for on game its ok. people if you dont want to spend it because someday they maybe close game guess what? its ok. just play the game. play daily things like most of us do. let whales be whales.
Learn from mobile legend. Only payable is cosmetics and battle pass. Yet still have updates every month.
I agree it’s not the whales fault it’s blizzards fault for allowing players to spending thousands to be better then peoples it’s sad this is where gaming is and people defending it are wild sad thing to see what gaming is coming too. This formate of game is so disgusting and anyone that defends it has to have money being put in there pocket to agree imo but hey I guess some people might just like feeling like they are good at a game based on there wallet 😂
I agree that whales keep the game alive and I'm thankful for that but if you do offline transactions which is one of the choices when you decide to report someone like they buy accounts from other players which takes money away from the game makers that is a serious problem because you are just recycling accounts from players who have stopped playing the game. This means that we have lots of whaled accounts but the game is not making money and its killing the game.

Make RoE function like Conqueror mode...that's the fix for all of this. Let the whales have their fun just running over people in battleground, but stop making the servers dictatorships

I think Billazrd or net ease have employees whom they give free platinum and gems to compete with whales to incentivise constant spending. Think about it, the game developers can just make accounts that smash for free and incentivise other peole to spend money to get a better character. Its a great strategy for taking advantage of competitive ego
I'm literally in the best clan+alliance on the server, with people from all walks of life+budget. Of course there are some whales and dolphins here and there, but we just got whooped 2 weeks ago and now having a blast being nr.1 in Shadows and super excited to challenge them hopefully becoming Immos again. Wtf is wrong with that? It's litetally THE END GAME. All of sudden people are acting meh, so boring, whatever etc. Anyway....
