Darkie is probably one of the most intelligent people I've ever seen in an interview. His vocabulary and overall complexion is sophisticated. He uses certain words like archetype that pertain to a certain field of study that you would only learn in a college course. He could be successful just by majoring in something he's interested but he chooses to rap and do what he enjoys. Mad respect, I can relate. I really like this dude. He's so intuitive and his thought process and how he perceives himself in his industry is way more complicated than all the people judging him could even comprehend. He should be looking down on those people for being simpletons. Ironically enough, he looks up to tyler like he says at the beginning of the interview and I think Tyler is a lot of the same way. Tyler can't fit into a genre or archetype. He just combines certain past experiences and emotions into something that resembles a song. Something that is broken but still works musically because it's too complicated to put into notes or rhythm.
He has a calm nature about him. I mean even if there's a storm brewing throughout his phases, he seems to have a good composure about him at least. My kids absolutely obsessed w/ this guy. Him most likely the most but she's been following spidergang for awhile. I brought her to their meet & greet & they seem like they really appreciate their fans. It's prob cheesey but I thought it was the cutest how they, their guests, even the interviewer person included handled her. It's just a little weird & awkward bc she's still my kiddo, my minor, a developing impressionable head. So I'll visciously... monitor her i.net use... I guess her hormones aren't always trying to hear me out & I don't always know what to do. The only reason y I took her the 1st time is it prob had something to do w/ keeping her grades up. & im not implying at all that they have some indirect responsibility to her. But she tried me this 1 time, not listening, talking back & no more sg for her. I have 1 of her shirts I ordered from them for her still w/ me. I cant even keep up w/ all of them. Do they purposely change their names :/? all bc she wanted to run her mouth bc she's so grown & everything. She really does say some low down things tho. g, yw kiddo. It's a long story, she's my brat & ill always wuv her no matter what but omgah she's a handful. 🤷🏻♀️ we'll always have some sg memories, at least. We'll it's not that pathetic. We do have way more memories. but her teacher made her shirt for that concert in fact, ha. They did take some vids down tho, so I've noticed. & They're some younger dudes to me. I didn't think they were that young. Although he does seem knowledgeable. I told my kid I thought he was cute. She said mooooom 😒! Ha. Maybe it's the Asian more relative thing. She said he's like a dad type 🥴. Honestly, don't ask me. I've tried doing the multiple roles, I just get shitted on the most. Her real dad's will be locked up till her 20s. Guess it's predictable she's guarded about the s.dad. this is prob tmi but there u have it. - I know her youngster self likes to be active in the online community.

Lil Darkie's confidence is so contagious. I swear I've thought on so many of the topics he talks about and I've just been scared to make it part of myself because of what people will think, but ever since I've started listening to Lil Darkie and looking into his lyrics I've become so much more confident in myself and what I think. His whole message of not being what people expect from you simply because they expect it has literally changed my life for the better. He's not just one of my favorite musicians, he's one of my favorite artists. Everything from the delicate and thoughtful development of Darkie as a character to crazy ass songs like methhead freestyle just culminates into the perfect image of just being who you want and not giving a fuck about what anyone thinks. It's pure freedom.

This really helped me tbh. I've been writing lyrics for a bit now, but I don't know how to produce, and I want to learn to do that myself. But it's nice to know that a big inspiration for me can openly admit to relying on other people. I didn't wanna be "fake" cause I don't know how to make my own beats. I appreciate your perspective Joshua and that's why I like you, I see a lot of myself and my perspectives in you. I'm high functioning autistic, so I've never "fit in" with the normal crowd but I was too normal for the retards. I think being aware of my autism from a young age helped me gain perspective for social behaviors and nuances that I might not have understood later in life. So I understand not fitting into any of the groups in highschool and just having to figure out yourself and your place in life.
