The diamond-shaped notes are called “natural harmonics”. They are bell-like tones found on a string at 12th, 7th, 5th & other frets. 3 steps to play natural harmonics:
1) Left hand: Touch (not press) a string on the fret wire (not before it). 2) Right hand: Pluck the string near the bridge. 3) Left hand: Let go the finger immediately.
