Also, having each judge only judge 1 category is insane. What if I'm judging a beatboxer do a style that I don't like and I'm judging 'arrangement'? I don't like the way the whole style/genre is often arranged, so there's a chance I judge based on that and not how well it was actually arranged. There's a reason judges have multiple categories each. And that's because a lot of this stuff is subjective, so if one judge's bias leaks into their judging of (for example) complexity a bit, it doesn't matter because other judges are also judging that category.

That's why ACE was tried out :) now the flaws in it are more apparent and we can work on improving the concept/exploring new ones At the end of the day, our efforts to innovate and improve will be marked with mistakes, but unless we as a community experiment and explore new ideas, our growth will be stunted :D
