Allie was already over in states when she was asked if she wanted to appear on Ellen. Allie and her father had been flown over by Ryan Tedder who helped her sign a 5 year and 3 record deal I seem to remember from an Allie interview.

You need to check out Allie Sherlock with Karolina Protsenko. They are amazing together! They have a couple of different videos when Allie was in LA recently. Unscheduled and unrehearsed. Magnificent!

Allie as of 2020 has earnings over 3 million a year not counting numerous lines of other income. She also receives UA-cam professional assistance in maximiseing income.
She has 2 albums recorded with Ryan Tedder and is releasing soon I think.

This was good but you definitely need to hear angelina jordan's cover of a million years ago, its arguably better than the original.
The Irish "tone is exactly that (as you can hear in the "Titanic song" the My heart will go on and on)
I've been following Allie for awhile now. This was a great performance. You really need to hear Angelina Jordan's version too!

Million Years Ago by Adele
There’s just something about an Irish accent that works perfectly with this kind of voice/singing. When her voice cracks unintentionally or she hits a flat note, it all just works beautifully, somehow. I’ve been listening to her on Spotify and there just isn’t a bad song on her. Her voice alone holds my interest (like with Louis Armstrong, Michael Bublé). “Supermarket Flowers” is a good one.
S P - I think it's a combination of everything about her - a natural performer, fantastic voice and guitar skills, charismatic personality.
There is no limit to how far she will go, she could be a musical performer, writer, producer, maybe a TV personality - she has it all.
She certainly looked like a seasoned performer here on Ellen!
Her tragic childhood makes her to need this practice on the street that she "is still good as performer" and not some real need to sing, and how ever she can find new opportunities when singing on the street !
American accent must have something Irish...a lot of Irish lives in America !!! Or not? Am I failing somehow?
We have a great busker culture here in ireland if you wanna check out a former dublin busker who made it react to dermot kennedy any of his songs will do and you may even find an old video of him busking a few years ago just like Allie its a great way to hone your craft
maybe Ellen became famous because of her humor-sense, and sharp observing spirit ! this is so rare today that can be a huge point to be taken in consideration on international level, maybe the people seeing are needy of this and don't receive from anywhere

After listening to her, as well as the original by Adele, it just reinforces the fact that Angelina Jordan
will be the next mega-star. Angelina's version is on a superior level which must be heard by music lovers.

Adele in all the songs of her's that she covers. With regard to who will be the next mega
Star, note that Angelina has just been signed by the #1 record company in the world, that
being Republic Records......and this was after she turned Disney down because of control.
Republic refer's to her as 'the #1 New Snging Talent in the world and has issued her a
contract that gives her total control with regard to what she record's.
@@ridgemanron Similar thing with Allie, she and her dad turned down all the major record labels a couple years ago. She has an unreleased ep produced by Ryan Tedder (songwriter for a few of Adele's songs) which is ready to give to the, as yet, undisclosed labels she has signed with in America and UK. That is good control.

When you try to say 'all the major record labels' and conveniently leave out the #1 company, that
being Republic Records, I have a problem with that. Angelina's songs, when covering the top singers
of all time, are 'as good' or 'better', and we're talking about an enormous amount of different genres
that she handles expertly. She is the most versatile singer in the world because of her unlimited
vocal abilities that allows her to easily handle the highest high notes........and the low one's as well.
When she sang her own version of Bohemian Rhapsody she did it a'capela before a worldwide
audience. That is when you know a singer is truly remarkable, not to mention being able to cover
Whitney Houston's 'I Have Nothing' and James Brown's 'It's A Man's World' , leaving the listeners
stunned, to say the least. There is no comparison between the two girls.
@@ridgemanron She probably is a better singer, but that doesn't mean she comes close to Allie's superstar potential with her unprecedented documented singing and musicianship. There is no comparison when it comes to evidence of work ethic and honing of craft. It's not just about who's the best technical singer, it's about charisma, humour, interaction on social media, looks, guitar playing, ambition, drive, subs, followers. You're right there is no comparison between the two when it comes to all those things, but yeah, Angelina has the better '5 octave mastery' whatever that is lol
