The Earth in the Universe: An Incredible Journey to the Center of the Earth | Space Documentary

- 🌍 The Milky Way is the galaxy we are currently in. Extraordinary this unobstructed view of space, isn't it.
It is in this galaxy that our solar system has been evolving since its birth.
The Milky Way would have a size between 100 and 120 000 light-years. Knowing that 1 light-year represents 10 000 billion kilometers, I let you imagine the vast space where we are.
In this infinite expanse, we share space with over 300 billion stars and 100 billion planets.
The Milky Way is part of a larger group called the Local Group. This group extends over 10 million light years. The Andromeda galaxy is also part of it.
But this is not the end!
The Local Group where the Milky Way and the Andromeda galaxy are located is neighboring with the Virgo cluster, another set of galaxies. Together they form the Virgo Supercluster. This concentration of galaxies is estimated by scientists to be more than 100 million light years across. The Virgo Supercluster integrates another set, Laniakea, an even larger supercluster that has more than 100 000 galaxies.
Such dimensions make one dizzy, don't they? It is at this precise moment that we feel very small in front of the world that surrounds us. Before leaving, I let you admire the beauty of the Universe. Time seems to stop. The lights dance. It is a real poetry that is played in the space.
🔥 As a reminder, the videos are published on SUNDAYS at 6:00 PM.

💥 JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH:
- The continental crust corresponds to the emerged continents and represents 40% of the Earth's surface. It is in a solid state. It is on it that our feet rest most of the time, except when you are at the seaside!
The reliefs on the surface of the Earth are rich and varied. We can admire deserts, forests, plains or mountains. In these reliefs, we can also find fresh or salt water sources.
4 billion years ago, the temperature of the atmosphere decreased to about 100°C. As the surface of the Earth cooled down significantly, water was able to become liquid and fall from the "sky" to the ground.
At first, the ground was still very hot, so the water evaporated almost instantly. Over the millennia, the Earth cooled more and more. The water was then able to flow into the hollows of the earth's crust and form pools, lakes, rivers, then the sea and the ocean.
One of the main elements, 47% of the earth's crust, is oxygen. You knew it was in the air, but you may not have known that it is also one of the essential components of our soil.
The second natural chemical element is silicon. It represents 28% of the crust. Then come aluminum (8%), iron (5%), calcium (3.6%), sodium (2.8%), potassium (2.6%) and finally magnesium (2.1%). These 8 major components alone represent 98.5% of the earth's crust, the other 84 make up the remaining 1.5% such as carbon (0.048%). In these natural chemical components, we also find the precious metals, the amount of gold for example is estimated at 0, 003 % of the earth's crust.
Depending on the relief, the dimensions of the crust can vary. Under the plains, it can be from 15 to 30 km. But, under the highest mountain ranges, it can exceed 70 km. The density of the earth's crust is 2.6 g/cm3.

Friend, your videos are amazing. I feel like I’m watching the newest and most anticipated space film at an IMAX theater but I’m just here at home. Well done is an understatement. Seriously.
One minute in and 'saved' for watching tomorrow! One of the few interesting videos which actually continue the theme rather than luring one in only to switch to some old bearded guy droning on about his 'opinions'.
Beautiful
Fascinating and entertaining
Fantastic video! But one tiny blip - at 16:53 you say water is important for scientists and astrologers - I think you mean astronomers?
And at 15:44 a missed edit. But very good content.
It's called eye o... lol..not lo
I love this channel
I was looking forward to this video but the background music is very distracting. It was the same few notes over and over and over. Sorry but it gave me a headache.
Why is the music always the same level as the narrator
It's not the music that's getting to me it's the commercials enough is enough
Pluto is still a planet...DAMN YOU NEIL DEGRASSE TYSON!!!!
Pluto gang!!
Get over it!
i am with NEIL!!! PLUTO be GONE!!!!!💣
Plutos life matters !!
@@scatdog1 I'm devastated too bec Neil shot the white parts of unarmed Pluto
16000 degrees Celsius is apparently 2900 degrees Fahrenheit and other mistakes. The narrator is just reading a script and not really paying attention to what he's reading.
Generally enjoyable but when he screws up the narration (whether it's his fault or not) is like someone suddenly scraping their nails on a chalkboard.
Thanks for the videos I enjoy them
20 minutes in and still nothing about earth, 3 sets of commercials though. A full 1/3 of not what I clicked on it for.
Hold on a sec.... If a planet must orbit a star, how do we identify rogue planets? Asteroids? Comets? Giant unidentifiable space dust?
Felt like all the extra information provided was a form of stalling and to fill the time. Shouldn’t take 30 minutes to get to the content the title indicates the video is about
I already saw that movie
I give up there's too damn many commercials in this video
Excellent. Great job
Gravity doesn't exist, the attraction between any two objects is caused by electricity....like static electricity making a ballon stick to your hand
Giving up at 25 min mark. There’s just nothing about the core of earth. Loads of commercials…
Way too many ads,had to turn off.

Astrologers?
Wowwwww very very well made video , everything telling makes so much sense in the order that u are saying it, clear explanations u don’t find a lot of videos likes this about space out there. Subscribed!!!!!🫡🫡
We will find out that there's life out there that would look at earth as inhospitable as Venus appears to us.
This video has way too many errors
astrologers ??
4 minutes of cheesy intro was all I could take
"astrologers"?
Poorly scripted, FYI, Venus does not have ice at its poles.
You can't say that with absolute certainty. ESA scientists say there's a spot with an icy layer on mountains about 130 km high. Temperature somewhat -- 170° Celsius as far as I remember. Of course on the dark side not roasted by the side
@@tyronevaldez-kruger5313Venus has a very dense atmosphere that contains ~97% carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas, a gas that can absorb solar radiation in the thermal infrared range of the spectrum. This thick blanket of gas traps the sun's radiation and heats the planet's surface to a whopping 872 degrees F (467 degrees C). The surface of Venus is the hottest in the solar system -- hotter even than Mercury, which is closer to the sun! Venus is too hot to have any type of ice on it. This comes directly from NASA
Okay while the video is okay there are several inaccuracies and WAY to much filler. The video goes way off subject and continues to making the video way to long with un needed content. The creator would be better off sticking to the subject. The beginning of the video makes claims of what to expect and does not fully deliver.
Soon as he said Earths "CORE"..
It was time to vamoose ...
Iam not a sheepi .....
If you have a moderate interest in space/astronomy and are even mildly well read on the topic then this video may not be for you. It is repetitive and a few little factual errors here and there.
At 8:40.... Some astrologers? Lost me right there. This isn't science from the get-go. Total waste
No, too many ads. Bye.
ALL WRONG AND FAKE
What is wrong with this narration? This is terrible.
you used current belief, standard model of space and particle matter which is over 90% wrong. from atom to galaxy structure. it is a collection of agreed assumption by men ignorant of real nature. all size and distances are based on light. light is streams of photon. man dose not know structure of photon or how it interact with gravity. this mean they they use a rubber tape measure. need I say more?
It's not his beliefs, it's facts. You and your beliefs smell like the feet of a wild pig.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. (John 1:1-3)
Did you... did you have to do this in one take? I appreciate that someone else has a speech impediment but I would have just redone the parts I messed up instead of just moving on. Other than that great video
i dont think the dots (as stars) should not pass by the camera as it looks like dust instead of a far object
