What an incite into the SOE, such “ daring do”, I had never heard of this operation before, I always find Damien’s presentations on WW2TV, enthralling, bring him back if you can Woody, so much more SOE/ SAS operations to bring to the channel. Thank you both
The channel islands hold great interest for me My Father as a teenager with his Mother who was born in Jersey, brother and sister got out of Jersey in a cement boat 36hrs before the Germans invaded. The most senior members of the family lived as boys under occupation. It's not only history but family history, listening to people who lived through it makes you care deeply that it should never happen again.

What more superlatives can be added to Damiens knowledge on SOE/SAS history.
Simply stunning, as ever.
Danien's knowledge of the SOE and SOS is fantastic and as usual he has a great skill at presenting it.
Damien is THE go-to source for anything SAS or SOE in WWII. Fantastic talk. Thanks.
Another amazing presentation from Damien and yourself about the real story behind Operation Postmaster carried out by some very brave individuals.
Another great show. Damien's knowledge and passion for the subject is second to none.
Brilliant stuff! I am fascinated by the Channel Islands reference: clearly a topic that I am not across nearly well enough!
Damien tells a great story here. Thank you WW2TV that was a bloody good one.
Fantastic! Thanks for this presentation
This was superb! Thanks both for a really interesting show.
Would be good to see a film about the POW camp rescue in the same style as Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.

Really gripping and engaging stuff - so well presented. Thanks so much Paul and Damien for sharing this fascinating story.
Cool show about the origins of the movie
Reminds me to the raid on Panjim Harbour by the Calcutta Light Horse. The film Sea Wolves portrays it.
Great broadcast, shared to X Twitter
Very good
The movie is entertaining but (to be nice) did have a rushed 'made for tv' quality about it. I better read the book 🤭
