An ad-free, bleep-free version of our latest video brought to your by our Patrons. This is a bonus episode, so we'll be back next week with an awesome video on rockets! If you still want the censored version check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/UQEIB_9jI_8/v-deo.html
Im so glad that thru your patreon you were able to afford to make this a demonetized vid; tho wud be even better if saying shit didnt automatically get vids demonetized >.>
get this man more views and subs

Man, you check every single box for a successful UA-cam channel, with your creative thumbnails, ideas, very well executed writing and filming, but for some reason your view counts are all over the place. Not saying that you haven’t found success, what I’m saying is that you haven’t found as much as you deserve. Keep up the good content 👍!
^ 100% agree I feel like all of his videos are so good and creative and entertaining and yet some still fail to get the views they deserve
He’s not doing enough marketing
He just needs to link up and feature other UA-camrs to improve his algorithm
@@lukask2597 Algorithms. UA-cam AI likes the same repetitive stuff and hates original ideas. So unless you know how to play it (Mark Rober for example), it's going to be a bitch to you.
This video has a swear word on the title, probably shafted by youtube AI and got shadow "banned" of sorts making it show less to people unless you are subscribed and watch the channel a few times recently.
It will do that to thumbnails the AI finds sexual/violent/racy, etc too.
You seriously DID NOT have to zoom on it at the end.
I was thinking the same thing when filming it. I could have been a food vlogger and zoomed in on cake but no! I have to go film a robot poop
at least it’s not actually human LOL
Why not? I was especially waiting to see artificial machine feces.
@@Kni0002 it’s the same thing tho….
it probably has no ads because of all the "language" in the video lmao

I got an ad!
Poopy keywords gave me an ad promoting things to do in my state.
Guess they don't care what you're into, as long as you're into them!
I'm surprised no one's used the pictures and general idea as an SCP.
Me too. Imagine a dude that was turned into an array of machines
@@stolyartoad8640 that's anderson robotic for ya
What sane man wakes up in the morning and thinks " You know what, I'm gonna make a giant machine that shits itself"
As unpleasant as the concept might be, I really do have to agree with you, that this sort of device might be able to be of importance. Not only with the healthy gut microbiome reserves, like you said, but imagine decades of work put into this, to make an artificial digestive tract, or replace diseased bits, in cancer patients or those who have severe GI diseases or injuries. We already have artificial hearts, and artificial kidneys in the form of dialysis in that one. Imagine being able to have something to replace damaged or diseased portions of the GI tract, eventually scaled down enough, using different materials than glass, etc, to fit inside of the body!
Probably a far stretch, but hey, human ingenuity knows no bounds when we set our minds to a goal!
I work at an engineering firm, and we just built a few components of an artificial digestive system that simulate digestion from mastication to defecation for a Canadian national lab.
The whole system is bloody massive (room sized), mostly because it's chock full of sensors and data acquisition systems (which is what we do).
It will be used for many scientific experiments, notably on nutrition and the human microbiote.
It's definitely a very useful machine to explore a still relatively unknown process of the human body, which can translate in new breakthroughs in medical technology.
wim delvoye needs an award for this, he literally just made a robot that takes a fat dump in the museum everyday and called it art.
This right here is the one and only interpretation for this.
There should be a biological way of doing this, this seems to complicated
lol
ok
This is now my single favourite youtube channel. Not only is it scripted beautifully, but also the cinematics and visuals are incredibley engaging! Awesome work, keep it up!!
seems like modern art is finally evolving
This is horrifyingly beautiful. 10/10, never coming back.
This shit you do if fucking amazing you combine humor with scientific knowledge and explain it in an exciting way that makes me not want to blow my brains out like in a science classroom
I appreciate that you brought up the research aspect to it. Both of my maternal grandparents died of stomach cancer. My mom has suffered from fibromyalgia most of her life. I really do think as gross as it is, and as "tasteless" (hahaha) as it may be. It is a good way to scope into the future.
Excellent presentation as always! Way to make this super interesting, thanks for showing the outside of the building as well!
Cool to see some science more closely to my own discipline. I really enjoy your engineering videos but sidesteps like this video are nice and keep it fresh!
Really nice to see multiple options for a video. Its a nice touch to a already amazing video!
You’ve been recommended to me multiple times now, and I love what I’m seeing. Who’d have thought back in like, 2007 that Discovery and History would become sensationalist garbage, and UA-cam would shift away from skits and become the forefront of information and documentary level videos about science. Needless to say, when I find myself drifting back to the same channel a few times, the only reasonable outcome is for me to subscribe. Hahaha
Keep up the good work!
You are amazing and I love every piece of content you make. Keep up the great work.
I love your professional approach and your voice suits a historian style. You will grow for sure keep Making these phenomenal videos!
Your quality is going up and up, keep it up you are awesome! It such good content, hopefully this algorithm appreciate it more. :D
Was shocked to see you only had 100,000 subscribers. I just assumed it was in the millions with how good the content is!
Great videos keep it up brotha 👌👌
Reminds me of a similar exhibit that 'poops', in the Washington museums (not certain which one).
On the one hand, the exhibit is an excellent 'explanation '/'practical demonstration ' of how the human body processes food, and the 'doping' idea for athletes is an interesting concept, an example of how we learn from scientific experimentation. On the other hand, .... I'd rather not visit, nor take home souvenirs.
Excellent reporting by the way :)
I’m seeing so many videos these days involving Tasmanian things. Have people only just realised we exist?
"The greatest shit-show on Earth." Nice.
Love your videos
I absolutely loved minecraft part at 05:17
You deserve more views, Hope you get more audience soon.
I guess the UA-cam algorithm does disapprove the uncensored version as it is not visible in the list of videos uploaded by my subscribers. Only way to see this is to manually view the upload list of your channel.
See for me it was in spot 2 of recommended videos so might not have had time to proses to you.
Same here :( I love these vids, I don't love censorship of science
@@crazyt1483 it was missing from my sub box, I was shown the original version (now unlisted), but I didn’t know this version existed until just now when it got recommended. Evidently something can be missing from the subs box and still get recommended
This has been in my recommended for 2 weeks now. Fine UA-cam, I’ll watch the world’s shittiest robot do its thing. On the real though I think your channel is amazing and you guys make great content.
Awesome😎great job👌👍
just giving you a comment for the algorithm. keep up the great videos mate
This is such an amazing video, and such an amazing channel. That's it. I have no clever jokes or anything, I just want to say: kudos.
Thanks for the Bleepless HAHA Keep up the fascinating and great work
worth noting that "cloaca" is also Latin for sewer with Cloaca Maxima being the sewer system of early rome
You're just lesser known, better hearing Tom Scott, also love the simplicity and 3d camera tracking shots
I just watched a robot shit
Im not even mad
This channel is my favourite science tv programme.
Sincerely, you are making my head turn towards Australia in order to work as engineer. I already have my license here in Spain but I've been always fascinated by this big country, little continent amazing piece of land.
This is the second time I didn't get a notification when you uploaded.
This is fascinating to me. Obviously the concept of a poop machine is a bit weird and I think I would have preferred if you didn't zoom in at the end - but how crazy it is that we know enough about how our own bodies work that we can recreate that using machinery?
Love the videos, even when you're chatting shit lol
The robot takes a number 2, at 2:00, there's no way that's unintentional!
Never Have I said "what the fuck" but made me so intrigued
This is the coolest shit I have ever seen.
God I hope this one blows up and ends up being your most popular video for a bit 😂😂😂
Who was the politician in the bowl at the end?
Fecal transplants are also starting to be used for people with chronic, medical resistant depression and anxiety. The gut biome makes a ton of neurotransmitters and is also tied to the vagus nerve so it makes sense how a bad biome could also affect your mental health.
I think this is the least I’ve ever enjoyed a pint of Häagen-Dazs ice cream. Was literally sitting here chowing down on a new pint while streaming through your videos. Chocolate ice cream and this video don’t go too well together 😂 otherwise brilliant
Glad this is the one time anyone talks about Tas.
This is one of those legendary videos that remain famous on the internet for decades, like "history of the world I guess" or "Da coconut nut".
How have you not hit 1 mill yet
Michael Reeves: hold my taser
James should have given the end results a good smell test and commented on the accuracy of the smell!
This was the most disgusting thing I’ve seen in a while. In other words, good job! 😁
I enjoy your channel immensely; thanks for the effort you put into making interesting content
thank you james
You are talking mad shit here mate, and i love it!
Still more practical and well thought out than the Hyperloop.
I never thought I could relate to a robot more...
Seriously , I wonder how much work you do to make a video !
I remember seeing this every time we went to MONA as a kid (living in Hobart) and fucking HATING this
It's nearly 4am but I must watch
One step closer to a living robot.

Imagine a person flipping their dinner and: "Oh, a vid about food on an engineering channel! What can go wrong?"
Beautiful
I have a super clean diet but horrendous gut problems that started in my teenage years, Ive done so much research into FMT and am absolutelt desperate to try it (though its not offered in the uk unless you have a C-diff infection or are willing to go to a very shadey clinic. This machine is amasing, our understanding of the gut microbiome is sorely underesearched, If this teqches us anything about it, it will be worth it.
I will never forget my experience in MONA
This didn't appear on my sub-page btw.
And i wanted to watch this video while eating... i am sooo glad i didn't even start it... 😂😂😅
connect this to a computer that orders food, and a robotic arm that puts said food into the food processor. Then find a way of converting that food energy to run itself and you should get smth close to a living being?!?
Would also need to reproduce and just an automatic bio fuel processor.
I am positively surprised by how well you said Wim but Delvoye kind of hurt. It sounded like you said Wim Deveaux
We need smellevision to experience the full effect of the end product.
quality content :D
I regret eating during this.
_Takes a long, heavy drag on a cigarette_
Yeeeeep. Born to shit, forced to wipe.
Simone Giertz needs to see this
I have always wondered how can we possibly make one of my favorite robots from childhood 'Doraemon', who can seen eating food for energy, in real life!!
As a Tasmanian id like to tell you that monah is a james bond villain lair.
This shit show was amazing.
This would be a lot cooler if it ran off of it's own digestion process. Having it run off of electricity is a major letdown.
Agreed! Feels like a waste tbh
It appears the final sphincter is unable to separate solid, liquid and gas. Needs more engineering.

"Yo lets go play tennis at the park"
"Alright sure, but I kind of want to play tennis at the shit museum"
Ohhhh so jealous, MoMA! I'm plague struck atm.
Who um... cleans up after it?
The robot makes some weird looking shit.
5:00 as a tasmanian...yes
a baby seems like a weird thing to use for the source of a good gut
Is he the one to bring us the spice melange?...

Does it smell though? 🤔
