The fact it isn't a throw-in-the-hands banger and instead perfect for a make-out love sesh is exactly why it's one of my favorite Bassnectar tunes. I'm always carried by the wavelengths these types of tracks seems to hit perfectly.
For example, I know Mimosa has been a real tool to others in the scene in recent years, and has mostly been into the trap game for whatever reason, his Psychedelic Stereo, Flux for Life and Silver Lining releases were all about triggering this same kind of feeling. It's too bad more artists don't try to touch on those emotional wavelengths with more mellow beats and catchy, sweet-but-intense melodies like this. The hook in Paracosm is just like, damn dude.
