Here's some information about the history of Rewaco trikes
Harald Schmitz and Andreas Hauri founded Rewaco in Germany in 1990. The company name is a combination of the words "racing" and "wagon
First trike
The first Rewaco trike was presented in 1991 and was powered by a 53 hp VW Beetle engine.
Engine evolution
Rewaco's trikes have used a variety of engines over the years, including:
Volkswagen: The first trikes used air-cooled Volkswagen engines.
Harley-Davidson: Rewaco later used large Harley-Davidson engines.
Ford Zetec: In 2005, Rewaco switched to 1.6-liter Ford Zetec engines.
Mitsubishi: The latest generation of Rewaco trikes use a Mitsubishi 1.5 liter 4-cylinder in-line engine.
Modern components
Since 2017, Rewaco has focused on classic trikes with modern components like ABS, automatic transmission, and cruise control.
