Just got to work the audio/video for his auction. Saw some cars I never thought I’d see, including a Bugatti 57, D type Jag, and his (now someone else’s) killer Cunningham.

Dennis: I envy you sometimes. Know that's not a virtue but that Austin Martin. Wow. Love to know your all time favorite drive.

From the family that makes N A Taylor boat products. The inflated boat bumper with "Taylor Made" on it is probably what most people would know what they make. Worked in the LTL trucking business and they were a large account, that shipped tons of different boat products.

I know two other 6C longbodies, but not in the 3-2 convertible variation. Beautiful machines

weren't flared fenders a DB4 GT thing? That's either an actual GT4 or the former owner wanted to make it look like one. Not many modifications, but still nice and tastefully done

It's a genuine series 1 with modded fenders - that car sold at the auction at Pebble Beach in 2002. I was at the viewing and auction - and spoke with the seller, sat inside it, etc. The seller was trying to flip it - the owner previous to him had done the modifications - pulled the bumpers off, etc. It looks exactly as it did at Pebble Beach (and my hazy 16 year old recollection), minus California license plates... as I recall, it went fairly cheaply. It was poo-pooed because of the mods, but the paint and interior were near perfect... Surprised to see the car on a video here... kinda made my night.

Arghhh, a cheap Moto-Lita steering wheel on that Aston?

Does he only buy cars that are missing the bumpers and other parts? Because I have some cars I'd like to sell. (Grabs tools, takes off all the best parts).
