I bought a box last year and it was stuck in boot loop from the off. I bought another one and forgot to send the other one back. I just remembered about it a couple of days ago and had been trying to get it into recovery mode so I could reset it. I left it in loop as I was looking on here how to do it. As I was watching your video, the box went into recovery mode 😂. So it’s now working fine. 👌🏼✌🏼

Oh my goodness this actually worked, thanks alot. After turning on the TV it stuck on the logo for 15mins till the recovery options came up, after resetting it, it still stuck on the logo for 5mins then ot turned on normal, thanks again

For anyone who messed up in settings or dev mode, unplug it wait for 15 minutes, turn it on and spam the power button than the loop as shown on this video will happened. I am waiting so to speak. I was messing with dev mode settings mostly resolution and the tv just keeps resetting with no menu bringing up or anything. the two logo would load just fine than a blank picture ((no not black screen of death)) the tv is still on it's just not showing anything for awhile and than would reset to the same logo's again. I hope this helps someone this is a pain including when there's no reset button, no remote code to factory reset including mine! but thank you so much for this video. Edti: I forgot to mention I can't do anything no picture settings, no nothing, just unplug and power on with the remote and tv power button.
Fixed solution: plug in a random USB stick at the android logo((before it loads in)) and wait for awhile. it will put you in safe mode as yes this is fine you want to factory hard reset it. this worked for me and I hope it works for others.

I have no problem with either option. I am unable I like and select anything via the remote or buttons on the actual tv. I've tried hiring off with the power button. Does nothing. Unplugged waited same screen returns. Remove expanded/shared storage. Power button via remote and tv still nothing. Unplug waited. Still same screen and still not able to select anything.

I had a problem where I'd click on something and it would instantly restart. So I took it apart and cleaned the motherboard, especially around the processor. Put it back together and it hasn't restarted since.
Those firmware chips and all are too fragile

Try resetting once again just to make sure...
Still no luck? Then you are prolly out of luck🥲 could be a hardware issue or your firmware may be corrupted beyond recovery.. reinstalling Android may solve the issue but its hard to find tv firmware

My Sony android tv XBR-55X900C keeps rebooting (turning on and off endlessly) after i tried to factory reset with the remote control, the video was getting really slow and i decided to factory reset it to improve the performance. I went to settings and performed the factory reset. But when i got to the white rim after about 1 minute the tv just shut off by it self and restarted, getting only to the android animation and then restarts by it self over and over again. I never got to the welcome screen when i factory reset it. I already performed the factory reset pressing the vol down and power but its the same it reaches the white rim then restarts by itself over and over again. I even tried to do the USB firmware update method you described in one of your replies but nothing. It keeps turning on and off. Can you please help me ! Question, when you say let the tv on for one hour and Android will get you to the safe mode menu so i can reset it from there, you mean let the tv restart by it self over and over for one hour ? Is that even safe ? Will it damage any hardware due to the fact that tv is turning on /off for all that period of time ? I’d really appreciate your support here. Thank you in advance.
Its wont damage anything if you let it restart over and over since its not actually powering off the TV.
In your case, if you have already tried another factory reset (after you got the boot loop) and still didn't boot like normal, i don't think just a factory reset will solve your problem...you can try though. Try to factory reset a couple of times... You may get lucky.
And its safe to do so, it won't do any further damage than it already has.
Sadly..If factory reset doesn't help... Theres not much you can about the bootloops in TVs, (there may be other things you can that i dont know)
A clean flash of software may help but its mostly not possible to find stock installation packages of TVs.
If you have also tried to do the update through usb too...and still don't boot.... most probably your TV's problem is not solvable by ourselves.

Use its remote if you have it...

The system is booting up alright? Are you able to choose the output?

My tv is also stuck but after 2 hours of waiting nothing happened i realized that it just starts the boot loop again so basically i turn it on and it shows the fox logo then the loop starts after some time it does that again fox logo then loop which doesn't allow the system to interfere and give those options and i've tried everything i tried didn't work pls help
Unfortunately there's very little we can do if the tv doesn't have physical buttons for resetting

Check if there's any system update available,
Find if it's caused by any third party apps by not installing them for some time one by one.
Try to figure out what triggers the bootloop.
Try reinstalling firmware.

The IR remote should work fine. If it doesn't, try a pc keyboard
Tried all options including factory reboot. Didn't work. Left on for 8hrs plus. Firmware issue as power went off during update. Any other options ???

Some repairs centers will do it without swapping the whole motherboard

Hard reset is pretty the only thing you can do when struck by a bootloop
@hometv1167 unfortunately the only keyboard I have access to is a blue tooth keyboard. Which worked perfectly fine. However without being able to get into android system which is in control of blue tooth/pairing/unpairing/devices/etc etc that’s also a no go. The remote I know starts out as a infrared remote with basic functionality. Until paired then full functionality through blue tooth. ( I could be wrong I know prior to pairing I have to point in tv general direction after pairing doesn’t matter where I point or even if in same room) Can I unpair remote via the remote and revert it back to infared. Take batteries out/ button press/ etc etc and see if I can select anything
In recovery mode it should just work on infrared. Check the batteries maybe

@@hometv1167 when I push buttons on remote the red l.e.d lights up on remote. I also checked remote with phone camera to see if i.r is working. It's sending a signal. I tired multiple buttons power/ volume up and down/ channel up and down/ etc etc ... sending signal on all just highlighted Try again will not select or move to factory reset

Does the Bluetooth keyboard work with dongle or direct pairing?
@@hometv1167 Bluetooth keyboard power's on and little Bluetooth indicator lightz up for about a second then shuts off. Not sure if that is indicating connected or not. The keys up down do nothing enter also nothing

Not sure if this will work for you, but worth a try i guess.
Plug in a random usb right after turning on the tv and wait for a while, it will put you in safe mode. Reset the tv from there.

Mine was a loop.. it simply keeps on booting.
If it automatically shuts down on boot, it may be a hardware issue.. can't say for sure.

You have to access the recovery or use the physical buttons for resetting.

If the simple way which is shown in the video doesn't work, then like I said you have to use the buttons on your TV.
If you have a dedicated reset button then good else you can try the usual resetting method which is kind of complicated (search for a tutorial in UA-cam itself specific for that)
If you don't have any buttons on your TV, then you will need to try reinstall the firmware or find another way to access recovery (ask manufacturer)

My case is TV went on foot mode but it is not came to recovery mode i hade waited more than 10hrs. But still the issue is not resolved if anyone can guide me if have solution. Thanking you.

Maybe try other resetting methods. Try asking the manufacturer for the device specific method. There could be a physical hidden button or button combination.

If the physical reset switch ain't working you are probably out of luck mate.
Reinstalling the firmware is something you can try, but from the details you mentioned sadly its probably fried
