What a shocker!
Yup! Today I bring you my own version of a BIG SHOT replacement for Snowgrave.
I really wanted to make this since I felt like The sentence that the names of Spamton's fight themes should have a proper ending note.
This is practically like a Big shotted BIG SHOT.
Anyway I am super proud of this and super happy with how fast I made it.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it!!!

What I really love about this is that it really reminds you that Spamton, for all the horror surrounding him, is just fundamentally a Weird Guy, and there's a reason the Snowgrave route is internally labeled "weird", not "no mercy" or "genocide". I love Dead Ringer as an emotionally fraught piece of music, but this really gets the image of the Weird Route being, in Noelle's mind, just a really surreal nightmare, and really punctuates the point of "congratulations, you let a lunatic take over the city"
I feel like Dead Ringer and a few others lean too far into Spamton being a hero of sorts, or he’s fighting for something other than his freedom (which doesn’t work in the Weird Route). Sort of like how so many people misinterpret Sans (character, role and literally everything else). But this doesn’t make Snowgrave Neo a climactic battle that decides the fate of Cyber World, but more of a boss theme like AOTKQ where it emphasizes that you’re in danger but doesn’t make you feel bad (Spamton doesn’t really judge you, more so insults you), it also sticks to the original themes but not too close

I love the name scheme for this. The intent was for it to finish “NOW’S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A BIG SHOT !!!” but I think it also makes sense that Spamton is supposed to be a surprise to Kris, coming out of nowhere as the secret final boss of the chapter. Almost like the *punctuation* to that Dark World.

God, that cheering from that background crowd really gives this POWER. It’s unlike anything I’ve heard before
Spamton is literally recording the fight that's why we hear a crowd.
I imagine the battle area not being empty with only Kris and Spamton, but many unfrozen darkners and Ralsei with Susie watching the fight and some other people are watching it from UA-cam on LIVE.

I imagine that the city folk are the ones cheering Spamton on, since they don't know that Spamton started this whole thing by selling the ring. On the other hand, the mansion staff know what Spamton did, but are also fearful of him, so they hide inside.

I love how hard this goes. Totally could see this being an alternate theme for the Weird Route for Spamton NEO.
This really showcases how pissed off Spamton is that you tried to double cross him and seal the fountain. Also the "Battle Against a True Hero" leitmotif is more pronounced in this version. Maybe showcasing that even he maybe corrupt salesman. But when it comes down to it. He's, an Honest Business man.
Alternatively, it could be because the context is closer to the Undyne the Undying/Mettaton NEO fights; a last desperate stand during an aggressive route.
I really like lyrical version of Bigshot that Juno (no relations) has made though…

It's kinda sad that people aren't talking about the impeccable beat drop screen transition at 0:17, taking this from "just a fansong trying to look official/professional" and tossing it ALLL out the window, and to great effect, might I add!
Spamton slamming down on the first syncopated note, followed up by the two little nudges of the DELTARUNE logo to the side, finishing it all off with the audio spikes coming in from the left alongside the tremolo- and then that BEAT drop adding the effect when the song really picks up; is just 🤌chef's kiss
Not even mentioning how good that beat drop actually IS, it's a really well put-together piece! I like the rearrangement of almost putting the song in reverse order, playing the dummy segment backwards, mixing up leitmotifs in the wrong places and then altering the song to fit those motifs, it all just works and it's fantastic on the ears
OH MAN, I just realized that you redid the muffled voice-lines of the original song and put it in the beginning, phenomenal job

This is what the final boss that screwed with Spamton will hear when we unleash Dealmaker onto them.
Yeeeeeeeeees, this would make a really good Mike vs Spamton theme.
@@kingofcrap4414 You know, I was mostly thinking of a fight with that mysterious second entity that drove the secret bosses insane and then disappeared. While Mike's supposed "betrayal" was probably the reason Spamton's sales dropped, I think Spamton would be much more ENRAGED to see the guy who literally crashed his whole life and said toodles.
@@SunShadow878 That would work too, but Chapter 2 seems to be setting up some kind of bad blood between Spamton and Mike, which makes me feel like it's leading up to something. Who knows, maybe if you go through Chapter 3 will the Dealmaker, something interesting would happen...

Technically “call for help” counts, but it would’ve been cool to see what toby would’ve come up with. Like how undyne got BATTH for her genocide route as opposed to her normal fight theme.
"Call for help" is encountered in normal route too, before the Spamton NEO fight.
@@randomboiiyi3880 Thats deal gone wrong which is in a different speed (technically both are different sped down versions of spamtons theme when you first encounter him)
@@kris13 there are loads of differently sped versions of deal gone wrong, there’s pre-battle secret, pre-battle snowgrave, call for help, mansion snowgrave, and then I think the album version might be a different speed too
This is kinda late but I wanted to say that the reason spamton didn't get a theme , in my opinion , is because if you notice snograve doesn't use new assets , it all crated with already existing songs and assets from the pacifist route.
This is the most Toby-like fantrack for weird route BIG SH I've ever seen.
And that is always a good thing

I really like this arrangement, you really tried to stick to the original soundtrack and it shows. Really well done! Even if I find it a bit too "enthusiastic" for my taste, it would have deserved to be a bit "darker", especially in the heights.
I think it works from a meta perspective. The battle is not that tragic anyway, since Spamton is just as much to blame as you for the Weird Route to begin with. And unlike Jevil, Neo is pretty easy, almost disappointingly so, on the normal route when you can take 3 actions a turn and force him to split his fire. Toby knows the average Genocide route player is a challenge seeker, so this tune would represent the player's excitement at finally encountering a worthy opponent

@@astuteanansi4935 Ngl, I first try Jevil and 2 try Spamton soooo I don't think that Jevil is harder honnetly. There is a lot of free mistakes you can do in his fight without dying ! The 2 fights are a blast !
@@Wapako just because you were able to first try Jevil doesn't mean that Jevil is easier it just means that you were able to adapt to Jevil's attack much easier, and if you saw the fight before doing it that also plays a part in being able to beat them easier too.

I think this is better than the original! This kinda fits spamtons personality and the original being more like epic and final bossy but this fits spamtons like “wacky” personality

This definitely has a different feel then a lot of other spamton snowgrave fan-tracks.
Most other tracks seem cold and sad, but this one feels lively and fun but in an evil way somehow, as if spamton has our strings and we are the puppet. ( at least that's the way I see it )
Overall I love this fan-track!
This is so so fantastic and catchy and unique and wonderfully made, but ironically it makes me picture the rollercoaster-esque movement of being in the carts in the neutral route more! Or at very least the snowgrave fight must have been an incredibly fast paced action scene-- which, I guess I'm also willing to believe knowing spamton lol.

This is utterly superb!!! The earthbound sample at the end is super creepy in this context too. You’re the first person I’ve seen who’s incorporated the high pitched voice at the end of BIG SHOT too!

This doesn't really feel like it would fit in the game, it feels a bit too epic for Spamton but the "I miss you" at the end is the most Toby thing you could have done, that's cool.
