Yesterday I have rage quit xdefiant . But u know why ? Because I was mad at my self I can't keep up . Come back in hour later and keep trying . When I rage quit cod I'm not mad at my self I'm mad at manipulative matchmaking and the madness is 10x bigger . And I'm not often go back anytime soon . This is the difference between organic matchmaking and manipulative matchmaking . Overall I have fun playing it a lot . It's refreshing not being manipulated. Yeah it's stil sweaty and sometimes I got my ass whooped and occasionally I can rage quit but it's only on me and I will always put my shit together and come back and play more
You know what it is! It's the feeling of exhaustion and apathy. After an hour or two on COD, I'm pissed, tired, annoyed and absolutely exhausted. I dont get that feeling on XDefiant. You could argue that its just the honeymoon phase, but this feeling is the same I used to feel on older COD games.
I can't believe I went on a 7 game win streak. That would never be possible on COD. Also props to the dev team showing off those game win streaks at the end of the matches, makes me feel proud that I am still a decent fps player and not constantly going against sweaty players. Never touching another COD game if they contain EOMM, it just morally wrong.

There’s a difference between voicing your opinion about a game, and going to every single video about someone enjoying the game and telling them how wrong and stupid they are. Totally fine to not enjoy it, but if the game itself isn’t your cup of tea, there are plenty of other games to enjoy that won’t cause that mental stress. It would be different if you love the franchise and you want to see better out of it. But a lot of people simply just don’t like Xdefiant, they don’t want to see anything improve for it, and they only want to see it burn.
The simple ON/OFF OPTION for input based matchmaking is so thoughtful of the devs and VERY appreciated. I've been asking for this, AND console only crossplay, in COD, since 2019.

I absolutely love this game. Both ranked and pubs... my gunfights are consistent...non of that engagement optimizing.... and I'm an OG cod player. I'll never play COD again after 20 years.
I am enjoying being able to see myself get better. The first few hours yesterday i was getting wrecked and at the bottom of the list. Then slowly krept up the leaderboard. Got top of my team once but im typically middle of the board cause nobody seems to play the objective. I play the objective and go like 25 and 35 but the top players got like 50 kills with no objective time

I came to this game from playing halo. Halo has tons of literal bots and the SBMM is prolly the worst ive seen, to the point where i get almost half my teams in big team battle being bots. Its not fun.
I think one thing that needs to be addressed is that your kd means nothing in this game. Its about the objective....what im noticing is half the team has 25 kills and like 27 deaths etc. They are playing the objective. The other half has like 40 to 60 kills and very low objective time. And we lose. So mr youtube man. Please teach people how to play. Let them know its not call of duty
It's a team based game. I never played for kd because who cares about kd just nerds. I play to have fun. It's a fn video game nobody getting paid to play these games
Yes, I’m glad this game isn’t just about trying to get a bunch of kills. Battlefield is like that too, where objective and team play is more important than just getting a bunch of kills. That’s what made them different than CoD. CoD players coming over to Battlefield and now this game are the only ones that think kills are the end all be all. That’s a big reason 2042 isn’t great because the teamplay is dead and you have people just hoarding kills and not playing objective, reviving, or resupplying. People are so caught up in K/D that they don’t see it means nothing to derermine if you’re an actual good player/teammate.

kills do matter when it comes to leveling your weapon so you can aquire better attachments. kd does matter because going on streaks gives more xp. it still pays more to go streaking in any game mode than it does to play the actual obj. I don't like it but it's the truth
Even though lobbies disband, players still persist sometimes. I sometimes get matched with the same players from my previous lobby and sometimes we switch teams. It feels nice
Yeah in mwiii there’s always the inevitable sense of dread after you have a really good game and you’re waiting for your punishment to begin. There’s always like an ambient anxiety/negative feeling when I play cod with sbmm so the lobbies in this game might as well be AI compared to what I’m used to lol.

This game is awesome. In cod I couldn’t play more than few games on solo multiplayer bc I was getting in sweat after sweat lobbies. In xdefiant I feel the same vibes as the old cods. An occasional super sweat that destroys the lobby but most of time I compete with the entire lobby and don’t have to grip the controller so hard my fingers feel like they’re going to fall off. I’m so happy this game came out and I’ve been enjoying how balanced it feels. At first I was hesitant on the over watch style abilities but honestly they feel more balanced than the cod perks do right now. You actually hear footsteps in xdefisnt bc you don’t have a ninja option whereas in cod everyone runs covert sneakers bc if u don’t you’ll lose everytime. I hope they keep this game simple and don’t try to add a bunch of weird stuff like a lot games do. Great game!
So far I don’t see a difference when it’s comes to how COD is. Other than in COD getting put in a higher bracket or lower bracket based on performance. I’m getting a lot of kills but the players feel just the same. Idk.it kinda feels like out of 20 or so Matches, everyone seems to be the same skill level. I’ve yet to run into a player that doesn’t jump shot and have just as good an aim as me.
Everybody is so used to disbanding lobbies that nobody even cares anymore. So i doubt they will even do anything about it since there wont be any pressure on them to do it by the community.
I play on Xbox, n as soon as I turned off crossplay the experience was fantastic... The fact that u can have a fair game on a lvl playing field is refreshing, reminds me of the old says before crossplay was a thing, it reminded me of why I fell in love with gaming n fps years ago :)
It was never SBMM.. rather the sweats and cheaters that inundated COD, BF, and all of Multiplayer gaming. Now it has reached Xdefiant and it (for me) is unbearable to even play - its a sweat/hackfest. "I need to get good and quit whinin...". Well, I have over 28 yrs of playing FPS (yes I'm an old fart) and my aiming, shooting, and responses are fine (but not quite as fast as a teen these days). I choose not to play and that is just MY CHOICE. For some it may be the cat's meow, but for me it is pure frustration.
I played 4 matches, and they were all the same. Horrible losses with worse teammates. The second match was definitely the best, was able to pop off a bit, but it was rigged for failure with 2 teammates leaving mid game. Gonna try again tonight.

Same happened with me yesterday. Don’t get me wrong I’m loving the game right now but I had Domination match and my whole team including me were crazy negative (about 5 to 10 kills with 20+ deaths) while the other team all had under 5 deaths and about 15-20 kills. Everyone was running around on both sides but something just seemed off and suspicious imo

Same after i hit 4 losses in a row i hopped off. Maybe should of hopped back in to the welcome playlist to compare it to something. Either winning or mix in the games prior to that. Need to give it some more tries but maybe my expectations were ruined by a video talking about how it would be a mixture from game to game and within a game good and bad players on both teams. Not a fan of the sbmm in cod either.
Thats all cod have to do is no SBMM. Like Xdefiants balanced action arcade special abilities reduced camping. Even Mark Rubin wanted the game to play out like this kill. And playing the objective. Playing random lobbies.

Sweaty doesn’t mean good. Most of these sweats just jump around corners, but can’t aim without strong AA. If you’re struggling just get to the mp7. I know some people like, but that mp5 is absolutely trash from my perspective.
Once you get the hang of the movement and gunplay(which doesnt take long if you come from cod) its probably the best small team shooter out right now. I personally like tarkov arena but thats hyper realistic and most people dont like it
It’s truly amazing how much more you can tolerate “the bad” part of the game with no sbmm. Sbmm highlights and personifies issues and truly is what is holding cod games back. Game keeps getting more fun everyday I play it
I've seen and heard alot of people complaining about the hit reg in this game, it's not the game, it's people's aim. Sbmm has gotten people thinking they are better that they really are. I have been really enjoying this Game so far. Bottom line, if you can aim and shoot straight, you will gun fights.
The game is my favorite game right now . I’m a huge fan of the division franchise with division 1 being one of my all time favorite multiplayer games of all time having over 3000 hours on it . This game is like a tribute to division players because it have the characters , the sounds and some of the maps are inspired by division. I love it

This game is viscously average.. it’s alright, it’s not better than COD. But it’s very good for a free game. My biggest annoyance with this game is the load time between menus. By the time a menu has loaded I’m already being put in another game so I have no time for changing my loadout etc.
Idk there’s some weird stuff going on with the guns that frustrates me tbh when I’m playing this to where I should’ve been able to get that kill. There’s definitely some rough edges here that kinda hurts but I do see the game becoming better overtime.
Definitely the best part of xdefiant is the design of its maps. I find it incredible what Ubisoft has achieved using the aesthetics and setting of different franchises. I have never played Watch Dogs, nor Splinter Cell, much less Far Cry, but the creative freedom they get with it gives them a lot of creative freedom. And the layout feels direct and simple while still being entertaining. It's not complicated just for the sake of it. Everything is very well designed and is the main reason why I was playing 5 hours straight the other day. Escort is the best game mode. I am surprised that teamwork and achieving objectives stand out.
I feel like they need to improve the team balancing because I mainly play solo and I've been in a lot of games where it seems like all of the good players are on one team. Maybe it's putting me against stacks, idk. They need to also display when people are playing in a party.
I like that I don't have to sit there a try and predict how my next match is going to be based off how my last one just went, but can we also mention just how pretty this game is? I just straight up dig how vibrant it looks and the lighting on these maps is so nice.
Winning and doing good is so much more rewarding cause you feel like you did because of your skill and how you played not because the game decided you needed a win
It's nice that I get a mix of sweat and not sweat games. I play this to have fun. Xdefiant gives me a game to play and not worry about sweat bs 24/7. It makes the sweaty games fun because it is not happening all the time.
As i play Xdefiant i cant help but notice how much better looking their maps are vesrsus ANY current COD all of them are colorful and you can actually see enemies although they may be bunny hopping all around the map at least you can see them 😂
While no matter what if a game has SBMM or not, it's true that a lot of people just play sweaty nowadays. But SBMM is far more than just sweaty players, but a slew of issues. It's great we have the option for both.

I'm currently on a 8 game win streak doing nothing but long shoot challenges. I didn't even play OBJ, I just sat at a from a large line sight for 8 matches barely got any kills and next thing I knew my team won.
I played it last night and I like it even though it needs polishing. It reminds me of Cold War with the movement and like Black ops 4 with the special abilities. Plus it's free people and only 30 gigs, compared to 200 to 300 gigs on newer cods!
Couple of JB's comments hit me here. 1) "been sweating against this SBMM/EOMM since MW2019". Just twigged that's almost half a fkn DECADE the fan base has been asking not to have it. That's a long time to be ignored. Will be interesting if a chunk of players do stay off COD now, or at least enough that Activision are forced to bend the knee on this issue. 2) "XDefiant wont kill COD, the only thing that will kill COD, is COD". Who remembers all the great games and franchises that Konami had back in the day which they sacked it off to pursue monetisation. Feels like COD is the same. AV can get away with publishing sh*t and doing what they want to as there are morons who continually purchase bundles. As far as profit and their investors are concerned, all is good in the hood. Until you vote with your wallets or play something else, it won't change. COD will never improve or get back to anything close to what it used to be. What many of the SBMM-supporters seem to not understand is that the lack of SBMM actually can make some of games harder than when the matchmaking is controlled. With no SBMM, you play across the entire skill-spectrum, compared to just being matched into lobbies where it matches your own average skill level. So no, the entire "you just wanna stomp on noobs" is false, as its impossible to only get into bot lobbies

I really want to enjoy xdefiant, but it feels like I always have input lag when I get into gunfights. I don't know if my PC sucks or it's my internet or it's the game itself :( Also like most people I have problems with the gunplay, like it takes a whole mag just to kill someone when it feels like they kill me in 2 seconds. If I have a skill issue that's my own fault but the game seems to have that input lag on even the lowest settings and I don't feel like it could be my pc.
Even though the level progression on guns sucks and same for battlepass it's so slow. I do enjoy unlocking stuff but I cant play if every match I try to engage in a gunfight and I get stomped so hard into the ground and have insane input lag sometimes

I played 5 matches, won only 1 in 6v6 battles. And like always my team has worst K/D ratio while enemy team has fantastic K/D ratio which proves that match is predetermined and set to 5crew new players. Ubisoft is not different, it belongs to the same Evil groups of gaming industry. These games are created for cheaters who use advance tools and modded controllers to get unfair advantage on casual players. These cheating trend promotes cheating devices and tools. Yea I went 25-21 yesterday and had 2700 for objective time while every body including the enemy team had less than 500 each

went from a 0.37 W/L in CoD to a 2.50 in XD. You can already tell the games are randomized and play different types of people and skills
The sheer variety of players is what pulls me it doesn't feel predetermined or preordained it just feels natural.

So far I don’t see a difference when it’s comes to how COD is. Other than in COD getting put in a higher bracket or lower bracket based on performance. I’m getting a lot of kills but the players feel just the same. Idk.it kinda feels like out of 20 or so Matches, everyone seems to be the same skill level. I’ve yet to run into a player that doesn’t jump shot and have just as good an aim as me.
The ttk is a bit frustrating at times but I think I can get used to it. I also wish leveling up weapons was a bit faster.
Everybody is so used to disbanding lobbies that nobody even cares anymore. So i doubt they will even do anything about it since there wont be any pressure on them to do it by the community.
I play on Xbox, n as soon as I turned off crossplay the experience was fantastic... The fact that u can have a fair game on a lvl playing field is refreshing, reminds me of the old says before crossplay was a thing, it reminded me of why I fell in love with gaming n fps years ago :)
Being able to toggle the crossplay and input is AMAZING. Something that Activision has been refusing to do for years.
Damn, when I turn off crossplay on Xbox I can’t find an effing match. Turn it off on ps5 and I’m in a match instantly.

It was never SBMM.. rather the sweats and cheaters that inundated COD, BF, and all of Multiplayer gaming. Now it has reached Xdefiant and it (for me) is unbearable to even play - its a sweat/hackfest. "I need to get good and quit whinin...". Well, I have over 28 yrs of playing FPS (yes I'm an old fart) and my aiming, shooting, and responses are fine (but not quite as fast as a teen these days). I choose not to play and that is just MY CHOICE. For some it may be the cat's meow, but for me it is pure frustration.
I played 4 matches, and they were all the same. Horrible losses with worse teammates. The second match was definitely the best, was able to pop off a bit, but it was rigged for failure with 2 teammates leaving mid game. Gonna try again tonight.

Same happened with me yesterday. Don’t get me wrong I’m loving the game right now but I had Domination match and my whole team including me were crazy negative (about 5 to 10 kills with 20+ deaths) while the other team all had under 5 deaths and about 15-20 kills. Everyone was running around on both sides but something just seemed off and suspicious imo

Same after i hit 4 losses in a row i hopped off. Maybe should of hopped back in to the welcome playlist to compare it to something. Either winning or mix in the games prior to that. Need to give it some more tries but maybe my expectations were ruined by a video talking about how it would be a mixture from game to game and within a game good and bad players on both teams. Not a fan of the sbmm in cod either.
Thats all cod have to do is no SBMM. Like Xdefiants balanced action arcade special abilities reduced camping. Even Mark Rubin wanted the game to play out like this kill. And playing the objective. Playing random lobbies.
Bunny hopping is stupid im tired of shooting 35 rounds then the player bunny hops out the way in kill me in a few shots
My biggest gripe with this game is I constantly get put into in-progress matches that are like half over
With the lack of sbmm i play sweatlords i just leave n play the next its so fun to be able to duck smoke
People need to either adjust their settings or “get good”..lol some people complain to just complain. Game is fun, play together you win together. Obj is key and ping is king!
100% only played as solo or duo but my duo games were even more competitive which is honestly really nice and makes perfect sense
Sweaty doesn’t mean good. Most of these sweats just jump around corners, but can’t aim without strong AA. If you’re struggling just get to the mp7. I know some people like, but that mp5 is absolutely trash from my perspective.
Once you get the hang of the movement and gunplay(which doesnt take long if you come from cod) its probably the best small team shooter out right now. I personally like tarkov arena but thats hyper realistic and most people dont like it

I've seen and heard alot of people complaining about the hit reg in this game, it's not the game, it's people's aim. Sbmm has gotten people thinking they are better that they really are. I have been really enjoying this Game so far. Bottom line, if you can aim and shoot straight, you will gun fights.

The game is my favorite game right now . I’m a huge fan of the division franchise with division 1 being one of my all time favorite multiplayer games of all time having over 3000 hours on it . This game is like a tribute to division players because it have the characters , the sounds and some of the maps are inspired by division. I love it

Nah dawg it’s ass. You need SBMM. COD is more heavy with EOMM that’s the problem along with sweats infecting every game. No SBMM=Sweats 24/7 with no regulation. I’m not even bad at the game but I’ve never seen so many bunny hoppers in my life I thought cod was bad but nope this is way worse. COD remains king.

This game is viscously average.. it’s alright, it’s not better than COD. But it’s very good for a free game. My biggest annoyance with this game is the load time between menus. By the time a menu has loaded I’m already being put in another game so I have no time for changing my loadout etc.

Idk there’s some weird stuff going on with the guns that frustrates me tbh when I’m playing this to where I should’ve been able to get that kill. There’s definitely some rough edges here that kinda hurts but I do see the game becoming better overtime.
Definitely the best part of xdefiant is the design of its maps. I find it incredible what Ubisoft has achieved using the aesthetics and setting of different franchises. I have never played Watch Dogs, nor Splinter Cell, much less Far Cry, but the creative freedom they get with it gives them a lot of creative freedom. And the layout feels direct and simple while still being entertaining. It's not complicated just for the sake of it. Everything is very well designed and is the main reason why I was playing 5 hours straight the other day. Escort is the best game mode. I am surprised that teamwork and achieving objectives stand out.

I feel like they need to improve the team balancing because I mainly play solo and I've been in a lot of games where it seems like all of the good players are on one team. Maybe it's putting me against stacks, idk. They need to also display when people are playing in a party.

I like that I don't have to sit there a try and predict how my next match is going to be based off how my last one just went, but can we also mention just how pretty this game is? I just straight up dig how vibrant it looks and the lighting on these maps is so nice.

Xdefiant for me is one of the 2nd fps games that felt like it gave me raw un modified matchmaking bo1 was the 1st never played bo2

The funny thing is, for me personally I still see a lot of movement gods in my lobbies, but the matchmaking still balances it out nicely.

It's nice that I get a mix of sweat and not sweat games. I play this to have fun. Xdefiant gives me a game to play and not worry about sweat bs 24/7. It makes the sweaty games fun because it is not happening all the time.
What settings is everyone running in terms of aim acceleration??? I never used that feature on other games always zero
As i play Xdefiant i cant help but notice how much better looking their maps are vesrsus ANY current COD all of them are colorful and you can actually see enemies although they may be bunny hopping all around the map at least you can see them 😂

While no matter what if a game has SBMM or not, it's true that a lot of people just play sweaty nowadays. But SBMM is far more than just sweaty players, but a slew of issues. It's great we have the option for both.

I'm currently on a 8 game win streak doing nothing but long shoot challenges. I didn't even play OBJ, I just sat at a from a large line sight for 8 matches barely got any kills and next thing I knew my team won.

Spawns, no SBMM and I won 4 matches in a row. Haven't done that in years playing COD.
I played it last night and I like it even though it needs polishing. It reminds me of Cold War with the movement and like Black ops 4 with the special abilities. Plus it's free people and only 30 gigs, compared to 200 to 300 gigs on newer cods!

1) "been sweating against this SBMM/EOMM since MW2019".
Just twigged that's almost half a fkn DECADE the fan base has been asking not to have it. That's a long time to be ignored. Will be interesting if a chunk of players do stay off COD now, or at least enough that Activision are forced to bend the knee on this issue.
2) "XDefiant wont kill COD, the only thing that will kill COD, is COD".
Who remembers all the great games and franchises that Konami had back in the day which they sacked it off to pursue monetisation. Feels like COD is the same. AV can get away with publishing sh*t and doing what they want to as there are morons who continually purchase bundles. As far as profit and their investors are concerned, all is good in the hood. Until you vote with your wallets or play something else, it won't change. COD will never improve or get back to anything close to what it used to be.
For those buying bundles and tracers, I guess my thoughts are do what you like but continue to expect more woeful 'core games' year after year. It allows you to use any weapon, it's all about your skill with it, there's no meta.
What many of the SBMM-supporters seem to not understand is that the lack of SBMM actually can make some of games harder than when the matchmaking is controlled. With no SBMM, you play across the entire skill-spectrum, compared to just being matched into lobbies where it matches your own average skill level. So no, the entire "you just wanna stomp on noobs" is false, as its impossible to only get into bot lobbies
Facts, but for some reason people still enjoy saying “you only like to stomp noobs” when you say you hate the matchmaking 🤣 it’s gonna be funny seeing how those same people react when they find out that’s not the case
A satisfying feeling that i dont have to think EOMM/SBMM but i still feel like hit detection is a lil sus, but overall im enjoying the game casually 😊

Gunfights are still a bit inconsistent and you got the bunny hopping slide canceling nerds, but all in all. Im not disappointed lol just waiting on a barebones mode. The ability spam is ohdee
I really want to enjoy xdefiant, but it feels like I always have input lag when I get into gunfights. I don't know if my PC sucks or it's my internet or it's the game itself :( Also like most people I have problems with the gunplay, like it takes a whole mag just to kill someone when it feels like they kill me in 2 seconds. If I have a skill issue that's my own fault but the game seems to have that input lag on even the lowest settings and I don't feel like it could be my pc.
Even though the level progression on guns sucks and same for battlepass it's so slow. I do enjoy unlocking stuff but I cant play if every match I try to engage in a gunfight and I get stomped so hard into the ground and have insane input lag sometimes

Xdefiant Absolute sh!tty game. They lied about "No Sbmm". Not worth to try, it's just like any other fps game like The Finals, COD, or hero shooter like Overwatch 2. I played 5 matches, won only 1 in 6v6 battles. And like always my team has worst K/D ratio while enemy team has fantastic K/D ratio which proves that match is predetermined and set to 5crew new players. Ubisoft is not different, it belongs to the same Evil groups of gaming industry. These games are created for cheaters who use advance tools and modded controllers to get unfair advantage on casual players. These cheating trend promotes cheating devices and tools. That's why their A.I. mode is disabled and funny part is devs expect us to buy their founder's pack and battle pass. Boycott👎
