I don't see anything wrong with a proposal in a wedding as long as the Groom and Bride give their permission
i really like this kind of drama, the storyline is unbelievable realistic fr me if we compare to other cdrama, i hope in the future i can find chinese writers & directors do more realistic drama like this, but if someone came to reading my comments do recommend me some drama that’s realistic like this

Same here in Switzerland. It brings bad luck to propose at someone else's wedding and is considered very rude.
I mean, he had expressed consent from both the bride and groom so I don’t see how it could be considered rude in this specific case even in America(I am American)
The bridal couple and the rest of their close friends were in on it supporting the guy. Even the bouquet throwing was planned so the girl would get it, only she wasn't aware of the proposal. Them spending the night together confirmed for the guy that she also loved.
I thought only chinese's having so many prohibited rules, western same too . Should share more all the nation wedding and graveyard rules so we don't intercept the rules.
This series is extremely good but they wrapped it up very fast as the story has given so much in detail till the point xiao starts realising feeling for him after that, every scene has been cut down and left incomplete to show the ending directly. Such a disappointment 😢

@@antonina06Я долго была под впечатлением от дорамы Тайваня Лето мыльных пузырей , 2010 год.Есть еще с этим же названием китайская дорама 2018 года , но слабовата.А Потерянный роман , Тайвань , Вы смотрели , вот уж , где романтика и поцелуи...бесподобный Маркус Чан играет , партнерша мне не очень , но харизматичная, они оба и раньше снимались.

Native tongue is cantonese , pidgin english some spanish . Loved every episodes and some eoisodes makes u smile but a really amazing fairy tale of childhood sweetheart to adult , ml is gorgeous , handsome and fl is gorgeous pretty too. Very moved and touched by this tale and the song is so touching . I'm not convinced that the girl likes the guy who proposed to her. She's not even smiled nor thrilled. But I can see the guy is totally in love to her.
These two have feelings for each other ever however much there things THAT happened to come in between their love since highschool them college . Shiyi liked her since highschool but she liked someone else then but later in university they get realise the have feelings however that's too late for her since she never got a chance to confess to him . They parted ways for work .
They have come a long way and you need to watch this so you get to know the whole story line

Here she also does the same thing. She thought God punished her for not giving him importance so she accepted that punishment and didn't disturb him (this is what she said to le tao). But she never stopped loving him even after 5 years.
I also hope that she could be brave and said something to shen dou that time but she completely broke down.

Here the groom and bride have given the permission to let the ml propose so it is not considered rude. But the thing is how can one ask their friend if they can propose on their wedding day cause it's the friend's special day let only them be the centre of attention. And a lot of couple though they don't want but give their permission to let prose for the sake of their friendship which is why I don't like it. Like their are 365 days in a year propose another day.
