Hey Greg, just wanted to thank you for everything you do. I stumbled on your channel less than a week ago and am now trying to get the most out of it. Keep up the good work and have a nice day! P.S. I scored 28/30 on this one. My best result as of now, followed by 27, 24, and 22 on the previous GRE vocab quizzes. I'm a linguist by training, which means that I can use my metalinguistic awareness to do well 😀
Old video but for those watching there's a mistake in question number twelve where "Windy" should be "Winding". Windy means theres a lot of wind, winding means twisted movement or course.
I love what you do honestly, you made chors interesting for me, especially with your charming voice, I never get tired of practicing with your videos. Tnq a world.
26 - tortuous and empirical were stupid mistakes, affected and engender I didn't know. The funny thing is that I had just found "engender" in a book (The First Crusade by thomas asbridge) 20 minutes earlier! I had forgotten to look it up but now I think it has been memorised.
I think in Q #28 restive actually fits the meaning. But, remembered you saying the Q has no content but I mistakeley choose Restive which is hard to control.
I got 25/30 too after a string of 28's and 29's. I got affected, tortuous, dissemble, and probity, pertinacity wrong. Sucks :/ PS: I know you watched this video a year ago, but this comment is for posterity
28/30, not bad. To be honest, it's kind of easier grading with the list and then listening to your soothing voice with the explanation :)
This one crushed me! More work to do. Thanks
we could never be tired of your voice :)

Correct.. I also did not mark windy because of same..
doggedness is a synonym of diligence (acc to google), so's tenacity. (just mentioning) , thanks for all the great work greg :)
Yikes! This was my worst score yet.
29/30. Missed - dissemble. I knew it meant dis + resemble -> represent falsely or fake, but didn't know feign (fake injury XD) meant fake too.
21/30 I am happy honestly.
Same here!
First attempt (29/10/2024) - 25/30

Got 25/30. Good video
I was afraid of no smoothing greg voice when I saw the answers !

yeah I've been noticing words I would have otherwise ignored looking up after coming across gregmat
20/30, usually do a lot better but this one was hard on me
i need to know why in 12th question tortuous can't be unstable
it has "tort" in it. think contorting ur body, like turning it.
I love the logo. Its cute!
17/30----will redo this test
Thank you

Whoohoooo! 28/30
Is option B in #12 a typo? Windy or winding?
Windy works, like a windy road
