Imagine the human sacrifice by thousands of men and women when constructing the Villa Jovis circa 27AD. Transporting (lugging) the raw materials up the mountain!! I'm imagining that Emperor Tiberius (who would have been carried up and down the mountain) had hundreds of slaves to maintain the villa and keep him fed with the best food!
You are absolutely right. Nice point, so right now the Villa is a just 30 minutes walk from the main square. It’s not so far and there are two path to follow, one it’s a little bit steeper then the other one. So I can imagine how was for the people a long time ago. For sure more difficult then now. Hi, so first you need a license to fly a drone weighing more than 250g. So usually during the high season the whole coast is red so it's not that easy to fly but not impossible.
Also wondering this? I’m there tomorrow and have a DJI Mini 2 with me, under 250g so wondered if I’d get away with a few scenic shots before going home?
