I understand why Mettaton NEO's theme, "Power of NEO" is so similar to Undyne the Undying's theme, "Battle Against a True Hero". Because c'mon, it's Dr. Alphys who designed Mettaton!

The characters can't make their own choices, have their own opinion OR have a say in the matter simply because they aren't real. Not even the stuff they do and say in the game is their choice, in a way, what they're all doing/saying is by force because that's how the game was programmed to play out. (Not trying to start a fight, I'm just saying)
