- Gwen Stefani chatted with ‘Extra’s’ Katie Krause ahead of ‘The Voice’s’ first live show of Season 22. Gwen spoke about the big news that Blake Shelton is leaving the show and how he’ll pass the time at home. She also gushed about working with Camilla Cabello and if they might collab! ‘The Voice’ airs Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC.

I’m glad her face seems to be looking better because a few months ago she looked overfilled and terrible. I was so sad to see her like that on Seth meyers show, so it’s nice that whatever she did has calmed down.

Yet Blake says in his tweet July 3, 2022 that the past year being married to Gwen has been the best year of his life. He’s happier than he’s ever been, and it’s his life to live the way he sees fit. He doesn’t need some stranger on the internet’s approval. In his most recent interviews, he said he had wanted to leave the Voice since 2020 and was burned out, but wouldn’t leave them in a lurch during the pandemic.
Blake isn’t some doll that fans get to manipulate to do what they want or be how they want him to be. He’s a real person with the right to make his own choices about how to best live his life, just like all of us. Entertainers give us the gift of their music and personalities, they don’t owe us their personal lives.
