  • In this video I replace the coco liners in my hanging baskets on the swing arbor and get them planted up for the season. I also plant and install 2 new conical hanging baskets on the potting shed.

The sled is such a great idea - stealing it! I just bought the same conical hanging planters from Kinsman. I've never had any hanging baskets before so I was looking for ideas - what a great surprise in this video. I have a few different vines started from seed so I might try those. Great video!

I had to look at your bio information after watching your most recent video re making a planter fountain. Your accent sounded so familiar and when I saw you now live in central Arkansas I knew why. I am originally from Camden. I’m enjoying your videos🌷

Hello Ray, I was curious if you"ve started your're purple hyacinth bean vines yet?
Also, do you ever grow purple passion vines?

I didn’t start the vines from seed this year but I did buy the plants this week and hope to get them in the ground this weekend. I do not grow any passion vine because it can become invasive. I love it, it’s a beautiful plant and flower but I already have enough work so I don’t want another plant I have to constantly work with to keep under control. 🤣😂🤦‍♂️

      Thanks for the quick reply.
I discovered your channel last year while searching about the hyacinth. I was amazed at how huge yours got with only 2 bushes planted (I believe). I grow them up kite string but never realized I was probably overcrowding them.
I agree about the Passion Flowers overtaking the area.
You're garden looks amazing and your channel is so informative.
      Looking forward the future videos.

Is it me or does this way seem like a hassle ? I'd rather use flats, and premixed organic soil then go through that soil dance ? I get using some older soil but the multiple additives along with different soils...not for me thank you

That’s not very positive. 🤣😂🤣 just kidding I totally get what you are saying. That’s why I tried to explain that I wanted instant full impact and why I went with the larger premade basket. It is a bit more work to work the soil in around it but it’s totally worth it. Organic potting soils are great but they too will require some kind or organic fertilizer to ensure plant health and longevity. Thanks for watching the video.
